I have tried everything to remove the nokia connectivity cable driver from my pc but i can't, it's currently preventing me from installing new ovi suite.I used Nokia pc suite cleaner, cleared up registry.... but i can't uninstall.It is also unable to install newer/older drivers.Also i tried to create the missing msi driver but i can't find it online (version 7.1.8.0) I'm on win7?

I decided to start a new thread in the hope more people would see this. I have the connectivity error when i try install pc suite ( i was having problems with it so i uninstalled it, had further problems and went through the registry and deleted anything with nokia in it), i tried all the steps here (pc suite cleaner crashes at 7 %) revo uninstaller found no trace of nokia anywhere on my system but yet i still get the connectivity cable driver error.Any help?

View 19 Replies View RelatedI'm having a lot of trouble getting any Nokia software to work on my PC.(This was the same for my previous Nokia 2730.)The first time I connected my N8-00 to my PC, running Windows Vista 32, my PC worked out it was an N8-00 and a window appeared asking me to confirm AutoPlay settings - there was a checkbox (which I checked), but no OK button.
I could go to Start > Computer and see the N8-00 there though.I opened the device and found the Ovi Suite Installer and tried to run that (because the downloaded version didn't work either - I'll start another thread about my troubles with Ovi Suite) but it didn't work.I then removed the phone from my PC.Now whenever I connect my phone to my PC Windows tries to install the N8-00 drivers and fails, giving me these messages:

I have Windows 7, 64 bit and the driver accompanying the CS-10 doesn't support Windows x64. Some contributors to a topic some time ago said that the x64 driver for the CS-15 also worked for the CS-10. However I can't see any support drivers on the Nokia site for either of these two units.
