The problem is that I cant use my phone as an internet modem via bluetooth with Microsoft bluetooth stack (everything else works). I tried the BlueSoleil 6.4.299.0 driver and it works fine but I do not want to pay extra 19.95 euros for the driver.

Aug 7, 2010Why is there no USB cable provided for the 5233? Which one do i have to buy, and how much? The nokia accessories only showed what was avaliable for other models and was not very clear as to which one i should get.

Jun 23, 2010I decided to start a new thread in the hope more people would see this. I have the connectivity error when i try install pc suite ( i was having problems with it so i uninstalled it, had further problems and went through the registry and deleted anything with nokia in it), i tried all the steps here (pc suite cleaner crashes at 7 %) revo uninstaller found no trace of nokia anywhere on my system but yet i still get the connectivity cable driver error.Any help?

Mar 20, 2010i have a n95 8gb, which i'm using as a modem to connect to the internet. actually i'm using it right now. he problem is, that when i add a usb extension cable (3m) to extend the cable that came with the phone, the internet connection breaks after a (short) while. especially when downloading large amounts of data, such as when viewing Internet videos. it works for a while, then stops. if i disconnect and reconnect, it works again. for a while.
i am using windows 7 64bit, home premium edition. i have installed the latest drivers and pc suite. the latest ovi suite as well, but i'm not using it and it is not running. i doubt it is a software problem since the problem only seems to occur when i add an extension cable. the reason i add the cable is that i get a much better signal a few metres away from my computer, and thus much higher internet speed. could it be that the higher speed is a problem? that is the only non-hardware problem i can seem to think of at the moment............

Not that all that stuff means much to me but I thought it may tell somebody something. Whenever I instigate a connection I get error 777 that the modem is out of order and the phone does nothing. I need to be able to make dialup modem to modem connections via my phone for communicating with machinery using the machinery makers software. I have been able to do this over IR or Bluetooth with all my previous Nokia phones.

As far as I know, these 2 positioning methods do not require any kind of GPS chip in the phone as these positioning methods decides your location by GPRS connection.But, in the manual, it is given that on the left side of the handest (NOKIA 5233), it has GPS chip?
So, what does that mean? Nokia 5233 does have a real GPS?

Looks like latest patch (maybe) screed up boot up of phone. I've never backed it up. Doing a phone repair. But will I lose everything? Including doc + paid games 90% done. Sep 13, 2011When I connect my X10 mini pro through USB to my notebook, sd card file system crashes. Not always, but in 70% of cases. Formatting (FAT32) helps only. If i unmount the card, take it out of the phone and put it directly to the pc, it works fine, file sys never crashes.I have tried two different 4Gb Class 4 SD cards. Operared fine in phone, but same problem occured when connected to pc.I always unmount drive from windows before usb cable removal.Very annoying to take out the card for safe file transfer.Also GPS needs sometimes even 10-20+ mins to find satellites. I dont't think this is normal. Or is it?

I am not able to receive any file via Bluetooth if that file is not openable by Nokia. ie., if I receive a jpg or mp3 file, it receives fine, and when I open it from Messages, it tries to open it, and then I save it from the Message to the Gallery.But when I try to receive some other type of files which is not supported by the mobile, it receives the message, but it fails to open the bluetooth message and as a result, I am not able to save it to the Mass Memory. It says Un supported files.
Say for instance, I am trying to receive a docx (Microsoft Word) file, then I face this problem.Is there any way to save the file directly to any folder in memory without trying to open the received message?Had it been some protected files like .SIS or .SISX then I would agree, but It's bad if I am not able to receive general files.
