I am trying to pair my laptop with my 9300 - the driver is missing so when I try to update the driver, I select Blackberry Smartphone - once it tries to run - it says "Windows found a driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. Blackberry Smartphone... This device cannot start. (Code10)
I'm trying to pair for a couple of reasons - primarily to bluetooth tether using my data plan to get my laptop on the internet.

I have tried everything to remove the nokia connectivity cable driver from my pc but i can't, it's currently preventing me from installing new ovi suite.I used Nokia pc suite cleaner, cleared up registry.... but i can't uninstall. It is also unable to install newer/older drivers. Also i tried to create the missing msi driver but i can't find it online (version 188.8.131.52) I'm on win7?
Ive found several devices or apps that actually block Texting emailing even calls for phones in motion. But they all seem to work with Droid or every other phone besides Apple!? Does anyone know of a device or app that actually BLOCKs a driver from texting while driving.
I am unable to successfully add my Blackberry 9700 as a bluetooth device paired to my Windows 7 64 bit laptop in order to use the wireless syncing function. When I attempt to pair the device, I receive the error message "device driver was not successfully installed" and "Bluetooth peripheral device- no driver found." The properties display 2 missing drivers. Can someone advise me from where I can obtain these missing drivers. I am using Desktop Manager 184.108.40.206.
My phone is Nokia 2730 classic and I have this software: PC Connectivity Solution: Version 220.127.116.11 Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver: Version 18.104.22.168 Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP 32-bit Edition, Service Pack 3 Language: eesti Language for non-Unicode programs: Eesti Detected Internet browsers: - Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 (Default browser) - Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Detected Bluetooth stacks: - Microsoft (Version: 5.1.2600, Build: 5512)
The problem is that I cant use my phone as an internet modem via bluetooth with Microsoft bluetooth stack (everything else works). I tried the BlueSoleil 6.4.299.0 driver and it works fine but I do not want to pay extra 19.95 euros for the driver.
I recently connected my Nokia 5800 to my bluetooth connection on my Windows 7 Ultimate pc of which downloads and installs the drivers from Windows Update. This works fine for the most part but i am left with 3x Bluetooth Peripher Device enteries showing in Device Manager and a Yellow Exclimation Mark located next to the Nokia 5800 device icon in Device and Printers but i cannot seem to find out what drivers are missing, even Windows Update find nothing for these entries.I have the latest version of Ovi Suite installed on my computer but this does not install any bluetooth drivers, I have the latest drivers for my Trust 16008 Bluetooth dongle but these 3x Bluetooth Peripheral Device enteries only appear when i connect the Nokia 5800 to bluetooth. I have also tried to locate the drivers from the support CD but this fails also.
I have tried looking on Nokia Discussions for a solution but it seems i am not the only person that is having the problem with these enteries in Device Manager and no drivers for them.It seems that Nokia has not released the relevent drivers therefor full Bluetooth Driver installation is incomplete.I would like Nokia to fully rectify the situation and explain why these drivers are missing and if they will be released.
Both laptop and phone see one another but the laptop gives me error message that driver cannot be installed. First query: Can this android phone interface with Win 7 OS via bluetooth? Would a LAN connection be more optimal. If so, can I connect phone to my home LAN?
I've been struggling with this issue for some time now, and haven't found any explanation. The issue is that if I am using turn-by-turn navigation software (that speaks directions) while my iPhone 4 is connected to a Bluetooth device, and the software hasn't given me directions for a minute or so, the connection seems to "go to sleep." When the next directions are issued, I miss the first part. For example, if the directions should have said "Get ready to turn left at Main Street," all I might hear is "at Main Street." Quite unhelpful!
Some details: I have tried two different navigation programs. I used MapQuest's free app for a while, and now am using the VZ Navigator app. Both had the same issue. I have also tried three different Bluetooth devices: a Plantronics Voyager headset, a Jabra headset and my car's Bluetooth speakerphone. All show the same behavior. Also, if I'm playing music through Bluetooth in my car, the problem goes away completely.
My conclusion is that the iPhone 4 is letting the connection with the Bluetooth device lapse when not in active use for some length of time, and it takes a few seconds to re-establish it. But that doesn't lead me to a solution. Anyone else experience this, and know of a fix for the problem? Is there any way to keep the connection alive without playing music, which I would obviously prefer not to do with a headset!
I'm trying to link my RAZR HD and 64-bit Windows 7 laptop through bluetooth (Intel Centrino Bluetooth 3.0 adapter). I pair them, but when the driver installation starts, all but one of the 5 driver installations fail. Is this a Motorola problem and if so, is there anywhere I can download the correct drivers? I'm 90% sure everything is up to date on the laptop end of the equation.
I'm trying to sync with Outlook 2007 using Desktop Mgr 5.0 (on XP SP3) to my 8310 Curve running 22.214.171.124 OS. I can pair devices and have the bluetooth option in Desktop Mgr un-greyed (so I'm running the correct Microsoft BT stack on XP) but I can't get Desktop Mgr to connect or do the synch. From reading other forum entries it woud seem this is because Bluetooth Services display on my BB does not list 'Desktop Connectivity' or 'Wireless Bypass' services (so I fail the device pre-req described in this KB article http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/viewContent.do?externalId=KB04132) How do I get these services installed on my BB ??? I suspect this is something to do with the fact that I was on BES, but am now disconnected and on BIS only. I did a phone Wipe when I switched from BES to BIS, and this has removed all obvious signs of the IT Policy imposed when I was on BES .... e.g. there is now no mention of Policy on the Security/General Settings screen, and I've had no problems doing other stuff (like installing new apps) that I was prohibited from doing when I was on BES. Any ideas as to how I get those missing services installed on my BB ?? Some way of forcing an install?
I just bought a BH 217 bluetooth headset. I did hear the voice prompts on the first day. Now it seems to have disappeared and i simply cannot get it back. The user guide says you have to press the multifunction key for 5 seconds and then again for 2 seconds (when the device is switched off) I have tried that, but every time i press it for 5 seconds it comes on, and thats all that happens.
I am unable to receive videos via Bluetooth because when I go Media >>>> Media Type >>>> Options, I don't see the "Receive via Bluetooth option. My Bluetooth is turned on and our phones are paired, but the menu option is missing on my phone. What could be wrong, and how can I fix it, will doing a factory reset to reset the phone back to v5 and then reinstalling 6 OS fix this problem.
Bluetooth artist/album/track info from WIMP is not shown in the car display when playing. Sometimes the info for the first track is shown but not updated when playing next track, other times "no artist/album/track info".
