Nokia :: 5800 Bluetooth Peripheral Device Unable To Find Driver
Jan 6, 2010
I recently connected my Nokia 5800 to my bluetooth connection on my Windows 7 Ultimate pc of which downloads and installs the drivers from Windows Update. This works fine for the most part but i am left with 3x Bluetooth Peripher Device enteries showing in Device Manager and a Yellow Exclimation Mark located next to the Nokia 5800 device icon in Device and Printers but i cannot seem to find out what drivers are missing, even Windows Update find nothing for these entries.I have the latest version of Ovi Suite installed on my computer but this does not install any bluetooth drivers, I have the latest drivers for my Trust 16008 Bluetooth dongle but these 3x Bluetooth Peripheral Device enteries only appear when i connect the Nokia 5800 to bluetooth. I have also tried to locate the drivers from the support CD but this fails also.
I have tried looking on Nokia Discussions for a solution but it seems i am not the only person that is having the problem with these enteries in Device Manager and no drivers for them.It seems that Nokia has not released the relevent drivers therefor full Bluetooth Driver installation is incomplete.I would like Nokia to fully rectify the situation and explain why these drivers are missing and if they will be released.
Nokia 5230 my Windows 7 32 bit is not able to load the Bluetooth Peripheral Device driver.Unfortunately its not available on the automatic Microsoft Update too.
I'm trying to link my RAZR HD and 64-bit Windows 7 laptop through bluetooth (Intel Centrino Bluetooth 3.0 adapter). I pair them, but when the driver installation starts, all but one of the 5 driver installations fail. Is this a Motorola problem and if so, is there anywhere I can download the correct drivers? I'm 90% sure everything is up to date on the laptop end of the equation.
Even though I can use BT fine though PC suite - Whenever I connect my phone it tries to find drivers for three BT peripheral devices - and fails to do so. Is there any way to resolve this?
In Hardware Manager, it shows Bluetooth Peripheral Device x(2) with yellow exclamation points. Every time it tries to install, it cannot find the driver files. Where can these be found?
Windows XP detects the device but cannot find driver, even if I try pointing to the client CD it does not find driver. Also I have already installed the client software successfully.
I am unable to successfully add my Blackberry 9700 as a bluetooth device paired to my Windows 7 64 bit laptop in order to use the wireless syncing function. When I attempt to pair the device, I receive the error message "device driver was not successfully installed" and "Bluetooth peripheral device- no driver found." The properties display 2 missing drivers. Can someone advise me from where I can obtain these missing drivers. I am using Desktop Manager 5.0.1.28.
I am using Nokia 5800 express music. I am facing problem while using bluetooth handsfree device. It is properly getting connected and getting paired with the device but while making the call the other end cannot hear my voice but I can hear them clearly. Initially I thought my bluetooth hands free is having problem so I bought another. But the problem was still the same. I can hear from the bluetooth device but the party cannot hear. Then I tried the same bluetooth handsfree with another Nokia 5800 express music and found it working fine. Is there anyone can help me to solve this issue. The difference between my mobile and other is the software version. I am having the latest version but the other is the first version. Is there any hardware issue or software issue with this?
first it was my notifications that wasnt being delivered for months after an update now for for 3 days i have beeen trying to restore my iphone from a software update. the update took 16 hours to update and now im thinking i can just restore and go agout my business....... the apple USB driver device or whatever its called will not install on my computer. on my Nokia 5800 I always get the message 'Unable to perform Bluetooth Operation' when trying to turn on Bluetooth. I I already tried several proposed solution, without succes unfortunately. * Remove battery * Hard reset * Soft reset * hit it on the side as proposed somewhere in the forum. I raised a request through Nokia support a week ago. They promised to contact me withing the 48 hours, but I have't heard anything from them.I have fw: 30.0.011. Altough Nokia site says there is a newer version I cannot update my phone yet (tried via Nokia update on PC and on mobile itself)
I am unable to connect my laptop and my phone (5800 XpressMusic) through Bluetooth. When I run 'Nokia PC suite', it detects the phone, it also asks for the pairing code and then I get a message (on my laptop) - "Cannot authenticate the phone".
Ive found several devices or apps that actually block Texting emailing even calls for phones in motion. But they all seem to work with Droid or every other phone besides Apple!? Does anyone know of a device or app that actually BLOCKs a driver from texting while driving.
After having my E71 for over year and a half I decided to update the software for the first time. I backed all the stuff and downloaded nokia software updater. When I started software it found my device and the update. Then it downloaded the software and started to updating. My screen turned black and etc. In the middle of the update, about 5 min in to it, I got an error message saying that connection with my device got lost and it suggested that I turn on the device and start it again. Which I did. When I turned it on and tried again I was getting the same message that connection with my device was lost. I exit the nokia software updater and tried it again and since then updater is unable to find my device. FIY, when I connect my device with USB I get the following modes: PC Suite, Mass Storage, Media transfer, Connect PC to web.I choose PC Suite.
I'm having a problem when trying to update my Nokia 5230 using the Nokia Suite. Please note; my phone is plugged in, there is an update for my phone as the last time it was updated was when it made manufactured (nov 09). The USB mode is on 'PC suite'. I have downloaded all the latest versions of the Nokia Suite.
When I click 'Update Phone Software", it takes me to the updater. When it comes to the 'Searching for a connected device', it hands for about 1-2 minutes, then says "Unable to find device".
I have the desktop manager installed and when I click on the media section it says I need to turn mass storage on. I have mass storage on but it still doesn't connect. What can I do to fix this cause I really want to put more songs on my phone. Also my phone doesn't fully install onto my computer because it says there's a problem with the Bluetooth peripheral drivers, I don't know what that's for but I guess its important. Where do I find the drivers to install on my computer?
I am using Windows 7, fully updated with as far as I can tell a fully updated version of the N86. Recently got new firmware, but can't say for sure if this is when the problems started.
The problem I have is I am unable to connect the phone to the PC and get it to work with either Ovi of PC Suite. I have tried re-installing the drivers, but every time I plug it in, all I get is a Windows message installing drivers, and then a message saying S60 handset is installed, and a Windows screen giving me options such as file transfer etc.
If I try and connect in either Ovi or PC Suite, it can see the phone but says it is not in PC suite mode, even though I have selected this option on the phone. I have a feeling that Windows is installing a generic S60 driver, rather than a model specific one, and this is what is causing the problem, but I can't find a model specific driver anywhere.
This phone has been working on this PC before, and I seem to remember it installing 3 or 4 drivers when first connected, but now it only installs an "MTP USB Device" driver. Any help would be appreciated, because at the moment all I can do is transfer files. No backups, no syncs, nothing with either Ovi or PC Suite, the only access I have is through Microsofts own explorer.
My new X6 arrived today. My initial reaction was fairly positive but I have a few questions and would be grateful for some advice please.First off, my old phone (N95) had an extremely handy Home Media Server feature. I would've thought the X6 would have something similar considering it is a multi-media type device. However, i'm unable to find such a feature. Could someone advise if Nokia have dropped the HMS for this model please?
Also, most of my passwords for internet logons and email etc were all created using a generator with random letters, numbers and characters. On my N95, I was able to copy/paste this info and save a lot of time when setting up mail accounts and other apps. I know the X6 does support copy/paste but the paste option isn't present for many password boxes. Is there a way around this please?
When I connect my phone to the PC, the driver can't install it a message comes on the screen and says: " MTP device failed " what should do to get it installed .
I've tried almost ten times connect my phone to my PC's. Everything else but Mediatransfer works fine. I connect my phone via cable and choose connectivity mode MEDIA TRANSFER. Every time PC will start to install that MTP driver. Sometimes it goes successfully but mostly unsuccesfully.I have remove every Nokia software and drivers from my computer and resetting my phone. I have tried to do this same thing in several computers, Win7, Vista and XP. Allways same thing...
I have got Curve 9300 with OS v5.0.0.977. I am unable to receive anything using Bluetooth from the paired device but sending anything to other device is OK.
My phone is Nokia 2730 classic and I have this software: PC Connectivity Solution: Version 9.44.0.3 Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver: Version 7.1.23.0 Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP 32-bit Edition, Service Pack 3 Language: eesti Language for non-Unicode programs: Eesti Detected Internet browsers: - Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 (Default browser) - Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Detected Bluetooth stacks: - Microsoft (Version: 5.1.2600, Build: 5512)
The problem is that I cant use my phone as an internet modem via bluetooth with Microsoft bluetooth stack (everything else works). I tried the BlueSoleil 6.4.299.0 driver and it works fine but I do not want to pay extra 19.95 euros for the driver.
I have been trying to connect my nokia n900 to my pc that runs windows 7. I am using usb cable that came with the phone. I get an error messege on the computer when using mass storage mode that says "failed to install device driver'. I downloaded PC suite and tried PC suite mode. I got an error message saying "your phone is in file transfer mode. quit file tranfer mode to proceed" how do I quit file transfer mode?
