BB Curve :: No Bis After Reparting And Intalling Backup
Oct 14, 2011
I had a problem on my Curve's scroll that was fixed by the technical service. As usual, they gave my Bb having erased the information stored, but I had a back-up on my PC...so I installed the back-up and I recovered all the info (phone numbers, messages...). The problem is that since I received the Bb after fixing it up I don't have Internet service nor mail!!!!!! My explorer only allows to choose between the Wi-Fi use or WAP (that I don't want to). Moreover, in status of services it says "Blackberry Internet Service: no connection"
I have a problem with WIFI connection Xperia NEO after installing ICS. I tried to repair using apps that I found but to no avail. I checked the router settings to change channels 1-11 on WPA2 encryption.
This phone is very business oriented. Right now i am travelling abroad and all of sudden by restarting my device ERROR 523 reset is comming. I am out of india and all my Blackberry CD and connetion wire is in India. Wht to do? How to do back up? What software i have to download on my laptop? Pls send me link and and wht to do for back up?
I have been trying to update my 9360 to OS 7.1 since last night, but I could neither back up my phone nor update, the connection is alright and it has already started the backup/upate process, but it kept stopping at a certain point, and GOT STUCK, I had no choice but force remove the USB to solve it, anyone had experience like this? and know how to solve it? or how can i get tech support from blackberry?
today I very stupidly unistalled Pandora on my phone, and after that my phone completely crashed. My screen just turns white and I can't do anything with it. I already tried taking out the battery for a while, turning it on and off, and soft restting it. Nothing works! What should I do?
When I I sync my phone with my laptop and do a back up the date that appears for the back up does not change. The sync date does update. How do I get the back up date to change?
had BB for 3 weeks now and gettign more and more confused unfortunately All I want to know is how I can, once in a while make a backup of my contacts and calendar an my desktop.
I emailed before and used 'synchronising' as a term,b ut am now wondering as seems more confusing with email needed etc.I used to have Palm Pilot with which you just connected to the cable, pressed a button and everything was in line on desktop and visible. Here, wehn i tried backup, it was in a program my desktop couldn't read, and the syncornising document I have received is even worse, not only does it not seem to work, but from the comments form others it seems a mess.
I didn't expect this to be such a big issue and am gettign reallt frustrated

Backed up old 8520 before it was returned to manufacturer due to speaker fault. I received a new 8520 but now can't restore the data to the new phone. The screen just appears to hang whilst fetching the backup file.

How can I print out a copy of the abbacy file? My wife's Blackberry died completely, and unfortunately we did not use the My Contacts Backup, so are up a creek if I can't print the date out.
My USB connector from my Curve has been working intermittently since a couple of days and before running into more problems, I bought a Torch. I realize now that the USB connector from old Curve doesn't allow me to transfer data to my Desktop Manager. I'm looking for a way to transfer the most I have in my curve (address book, emails, notes, passwords, etc..) without my USB cable. I've been trying to hook up the 2 phones with bluethoot, but it asks me some kind of access key number of the new Torch (which I completely ignore). But even if I would have that access key, would this work?I may get a Bluetooth adaptor for my PC, as I have read that we can transfer data to Desktop Manager that way, but would have to buy such adaptor - not expensive, but if I could do it directly from 2 phones?
I've lost my phone & I need to access/read my last backup file. I've read .ipd file will need to be converted and I will need to download converter, i.e. Amber Blackberry Converter or Magicberry. Has anyone had any experience with doing this? When I get my new phone and do backup restore, will ALL data be restored, i.e. ALL information under contacts, not just name & phone#?
My BB 8520 went faulty. I backup the data on my home pc running XP. The handset was replaced but I am now unable to restore the data to the new handset. The backup file comes up but cannot restore.
I've had my Curve for a few years now but have never backed up or sync. I really would like to make sure I backup my contacts, calendar, pictures, videos, and memopad. I cannot for the life of me figure out the "device software" and dont know if I even downloaded it correctly.
write again on same issue but I have directory in the SD Memory of my BB called DataBackups/DateandTime.databackup/ with 6 directories called categories, contacts, etc. This a backup of my Phone which I don't know how it has been done.
How do I backup my photos that are on my Blkberry Curve 9330 to my Mac computer. I am getting a new iphone soon and they told me at Verizon they can transfer my contacts but not my photos. So how do I get the photos that are on my phone onto my desktop of my Mac computer. I have both photos on a memory card and photos on my phone.
I had Xperia X10 and in that I had taken Contacts backup and same saved in one Single VCF file for all 500 contacts and I want all that contacts in my New blackberry.
I had my SIM die on me today, so had to get a new one.In doing so, I then had to get the BB services moved over too.But now, I then lost ALL my email settings. So I go to my backup software, and Restore to a few days ago - and NO EMAILS.I can see 936 messages in the restire list, but how do I get at them? It did show on my phone NO email accounts at all, tho I don't know why, since they are stored on the device, not the sim. But how do I get all those messages back in my mailbox folders?
i tried to back it up on to my phone. but it wont work, i wouldve posted this when i found out it wouldnt work but i couldnt remember by password to log on.
I had a BB Curve from 2008-2011. Yes, I switched to a different smartphone. I have need for access to some of the info that was backed up from my BB during 2010. Is it possible for me to get to this? I was using the Desktop BB software at the time, which has since been removed from my PC.
I've a BB curve with several contact information with no backup. I've changed to a new device, and I wanted to recover information about my contact list from my old BB curve.I know if I put 10 times a wrong password I'll lose all the information stored in the BB, and I'm in the 9th try! There is no way to workaround on it, for me is really important get this information. There is no way from BB support to get this information back.
My Blackberry 8520 was stolen last week. I had Blackberry Protect installed, with a weekly backup scheduled.Today a bought a new Blackberry 8520. I want to restore the latest backup that the Blackberry Protect from my last phone did to the new one.
