BB Curve :: Backup Date Not Changing?
Apr 8, 2011When I I sync my phone with my laptop and do a back up the date that appears for the back up does not change. The sync date does update. How do I get the back up date to change?

Feb 21, 2011i have the date settings set as 31/12/10, it has this setting on the widget and on the notification bar but when it locks the format goes to 12/31/10.This is on the android 2.1, which came on the phone, not upgraded and i have twice used the repair function through pc companion and it still doesn't seem right.Is this normal?

May 11, 2010I have an X6 16GB, which I turn off at night when I go to bed, about once a week I switch it on in the morning and the date hasn't changed from the previous day. The same problem occurs whether I have automatic time update on or off. Also once or twice a week it will download emails with the date 01/01/2000 instead of today's date. I can log into my emails via Outlook Express on my p.c and the date will be correct there. I have software version v20 installed, the same problems still occurred on the previous firmware as well.

Jul 2, 2012I just had my iphone4 upgraded to the latest os .. prior to the upgrade, i synced my contacts and noted using outlook ... however, after the upgrade, when i tried to restore, nothing happened ... so i kept trying, until i discovered that my old backup have been changed to a different date (after the upgrade) ... which means my old backup is gone! is there any way i can restore an older backup? can i do a system restore of itunes or something? by the way, i am using windows 7 ...

May 31, 2010Right from day 1 the display date of my E52 does not update and reflect correct the correct date. Got the phone replaced once still the same issue. Called the customer service and they say there is no such problem with E52. They asked me to go to the repair center...(isnt that ridiculous to ask a customer of a new phone to do so?). I went to the repair center with a hope that they will replace it for me but all in vain. They also gave me a ridiculous answer that Nokia does not have a replacement policy...and I was like so is it Nokia's policy to sell broken and faulty mobiles? I was utterly dejected. The electronic store where I bought also refuse to replace because they think there is a problem and no matter I get it changed it will recur. I still do not have a solution as all my ways of getting this problem resolved are exhausted. Anyone has a solution or came across this issue which can be solved without repairing?

Jun 9, 2010I have a Curve 8520 from TMobile (US).I also had a Pearl 8100 from Fido (Canada).I got the Curve unlocked and want to use it on the Fido network instead of the Pearl. I seem to have gotten everything working on the Curve, except for the email.I had the same email accounts (gmail, hotmail) set up on both phones, but for some reason now that I've switched over to the Curve on the Fido network, I can't send or receive email.I've checked all my settings, and they seem right.I can access the web, my Wi-Fi is set up, and I can send & receive texts. Anyone have any ideas about this email problem? Also, I can't remember my account username for the BB website to access my account online to change the email.When I ask to send my password, it says it has been sent to my BB, but of course I can't receive email, so I'm not getting it.

Jul 4, 2010Last night my BB had a bit of a "moment" whereby for some strange reason, it changed the time and date of it's own accord to a future date in September, so my Twitter was showing tweets as "61 days ago" and my email was arriving with a future date showing.
It's back to normal now, (again, of it's own accord) apart from my emails - the ones I received are still showing as September which is rather annoying as I now have to scroll down to read new emails.Is there any way of changing the received date on them? I can't seem to find any option to do so. I know I could delete them but I kinda need them saved for now! Why did my BB do this in the first place?

Dec 2, 2010I received my Blackberry Curve 3G 2 days ago, on Tuesday, and my connection on it (on the top right hand of the screen) changes from 3G to GSM.I've tried all of the solutions to fix this, such as pulling the battery out, registering the Host Routing Table, but it still happens.
