how to change the theme on my blackberry! it is in some sort of negative mode like looking at a photo negative, and its really annoying. i have no idea how to get it off! when i go to options and try to change or delete the theme, there is no way to do it! it doesnt have the original theme i got it with. i have downloaded other themes but cant find them on my device.
View 1 RepliesI have a problem with E52, 033.002 software. Let's say I set the theme to the one I have installed on memory card. Everything looks fine untill I want to charge my phone. Then, the theme switches automatically to completely different one (light blue like) and sometimes doesn't switch back if I disconnect the charger - I have to set it up manually again. Even if it happens that the theme is the right one after disconnecting the charger, I have to set up the background image again, which is reset to "default".When I use themes installed in phone memory everything works fine. The workaround I can do is to copy the theme from the card to phone mem (don't know how), or to change something in the phone soft to avoid changing theme.Does anybody have some idea?

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy friend has downloaded a number of themes onto my BB (8520, v5.0.0.0.681).Another of my friends who has owned a BB for a while told me I should not have many themes, as it will cause the phone to be slow.I am aware that to delete themes, I go to Options>Theme, select the desired theme and select delete. However, a few of the themes will not let me acces the delete button; it is there, but cannot be highlighted. How can i delete these themes otherwise?

However the new replacement has a slighlty different theme than the previous one.It seems to have some different icons and highlights then in blue when you scroll over them. The text messages are also displayed dfferently.

Since then, when my phone reboots, the theme with its moving water appears, but nothing else works on the phone. None of the keys work and the screen display, other than the moving water, is frozen too. I have tried taking out the battery, waiting and then rebooting. All that happens is that the theme returns, and is stuck again. I have attached it to my laptop, but the Blackberry Desktop Software can't connect with the phone. I tried the "Start Run" App Loader, but got a message telling me the "Location is not available".

With the 8330 i had to change the theme, but with the 8520 i only have 1 theme option. It shows up on my applications list but not with my themes. I've checked every folder and nook and cranny. I've even restarted my phone. I seem to have gotten everything working on the Curve, except for the email.I had the same email accounts (gmail, hotmail) set up on both phones, but for some reason now that I've switched over to the Curve on the Fido network, I can't send or receive email.I've checked all my settings, and they seem right.I can access the web, my Wi-Fi is set up, and I can send & receive texts. Anyone have any ideas about this email problem? Also, I can't remember my account username for the BB website to access my account online to change the email.When I ask to send my password, it says it has been sent to my BB, but of course I can't receive email, so I'm not getting it.
