I'm having issues with the keyboard on my BB Curve 8900 (T-Mobile Austria (in Europe)). Can't get any of the keys to respond, unless I hold down either of the following four keys - P/@; del; enter; num lock (all on right side of keyboard). Everything else works fine, but I have to hold down one of those four keys to get the phone to do anything.
View 4 RepliesI have a problem with my E72, When I try to use the "," "." "?" "!" or " ' " symbols it doesn't respond, i use the coma and dot by pressing the ? and ! buttons for example, my whole symbol section doesn't respond to what the keys seem to order.
View 5 Replies View RelatedUsing stock keyboard i found that my typing was constantly getting words grouped together. Then I noticed that when I hit the space bar I always get the hepatic feedback but the cursor doesn't always move when spacebar is pressed. Sometimes I have to hit it 3-4 times.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI picked up an 8330 secondhand recently and it worked fine for about 3 weeks when quite suddenly the keyboard stopped resonding. I can't even turn on the screen unless I plug the phone into a charger and then unplug it. In this state the trackball will scroll through menus, but pressing it does nothing, and the rest of the keyboard is also unresponsive.
Anyway, I want to wipe it and reinstall the OS to see if maybe that helps. I've backed everythign up through destop software but I don't see any like 'Format device' 'wipe device' type of option.
i can see my screen but no keys on my keyboard work.. i ve already tried to restar my phone and it didn't work... what should i do?
View 1 Replies View Relatedmy keyboard on my phone will only let me type a j and a k once I press one of them, and the j key types a k and the k key types a j, none of the other buttons do anything when it happens and so I have to reboot, when it does it all over again, what shall I do?Also, the screen goes black after a while if I keep trying other buttons meaning I need to reboot again.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI put my AT&T 8310 in an aftermarket hard shell case, trying to protect the keyboard. When I pulled it out some of the keys weren't working. Gradually some are coming back, but the delete/backspace key doesn't work (sometimes it kicks in and does a Pac Man) and the Alt Back combination to bring up switch applications isn't working even though both keys work independently.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 4 (GSM version) has been freezing up lately. The keys do not respond and the screen is blank. The only way out so far has been to put the phone in DFU mode and restore in iTunes. This phone was previously locked to the AT&T network and was recently unlocked.

So my blackberry bold is locked and the keyboard won't respond. I've tried removing the battery but when it reboots the keyboard locks up or the screen just goes black. No water damaged has occurred.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the torch 9800 and there appears to be a bug with the on screen keyboard. After viewing a few pdf files in Repligo Reader I went to compose an email. I noticed that the on screen virtual keyboard was missing the outlines around the individual keys and the alt, shift, language selection and delete keys are not displayed. Also the background of the keyboard is all gunmetal grey and the keys are white with no outlines as mentioned above. I can still use the keys, touch the area where the keys are not displayed and the functionality remains intact. This happens in both horizontal and vertical mode. If I change the vertical keyboard to compact mode in options the vertical keyboard is displayed normally. I have reproduced this issue, reported it to the Repligo Reader developer and the only way to resolve it is a hard reset or full device restart.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI had my bb 9700 for 2 days and im not super satisfied with it as i thought i would be. first problem is I can not hold down the alt key and type other special characters continously. I have to press the alt key , let go , then click the other key which is really annoying. I talked to a rogers rep online and they helped me reboot my phone software and it still has this problem he said i might need a replacement which I dont want because of the inconvenience.
And the keyboard in general is really hard to type on. Compared to the curve 8900, it is so much easier to type on that. the keyboard on the 9700 feels alot stiffer and most of the time when I try to type at a fast speed it doesnt get all the letters i type even though i know i clicked it. once i turn off my 9700, I cant turn it back on. the only way to turn it on is the remove the battery and put it back in. I searched on google and it seems like a few other people are also having these problems but theres no solution.
I am unable to use any keys they just keep typing Hl ou?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased a Samsung galaxy S6 on June 5th. On Sunday morning it was working fine. Sunday afternoon, I tried to use it and the screen will not recognize my touch. Everything works on the phone. The screen illuminates, it rings, I can talk on the phone through my car but I cannot do anything that involves using the screen. The back button will work but that is it. Unfortunately, I have a pin code security on the phone. I took it to Sprint and they had never seen this happen before on the this phone.
1. I have tried the reset, doesn't work.
2. How to get my data, like pics, off my phone considering I cannot unlock the phone because the screen doesn't respond?

I have been using the Z2 for some time now and totally in love with the hardware design and the nicely laid out interface. Though sony decided to discriminate the Indian users by not giving the noise cancellation head or the LTE model ....considering its 50K phone here ... which is not cheap
Aside from what mentioned above there are 2 more things that’s bother me...
1. There are some bloatware on the phone provided by sony but there are no options to uninstall them.
2. While on call nothing else works the soft keys gets disabled, you can’t type a msg the keyboard doesn’t come up. This was how it was in my Z as well. In the forum some people mentioned that it got resolved in the 4.3 update, however i don’t think it is yet.
I have got a new Xperia X10 mini Pro. Th problem is that the slide out keyboard mapping is probably wrong or some setting needs to be done.When I press a key with "?" on the slideout keyboard I get a ":" on the screen. This happens for other symbols also Numbers and alphets are correct only the symbols are messed up.

When my iPhone receives a missed call, it shows a screen that asks you to accept that you received a missed call and then it takes you to a "missed call menu" from which you can do things like "call back in 5" "send "who is it" " etc.What happens is that instead of doing this, my phone goes haywire and starts flickering the screen and acting unresponsive to what I do. It's very annoying as each time I have to do a hard reset.
