I have a Curve 3G 9330. I upgraded my OS to 6 when it came out. And I use the GPS option on my BBMaps all the time and used to find my exact location and show me turn by turn and follow me where ever I go with OS5. Now those options aren't available with OS6. And when I check in to FB or want to find my location. It shows me 3 MILES away from where I am.

I immediately noticed a difference in performance, when I turned it on it showed my location to be almost a mile (by road) from my actual location, probably a 1/2 mile as the crow flies. I turned it back on a couple of different times in the next few hours but it never did find the street I live on. The battery was low so I hoped that a good charging would get it to function better. The next day was some better, at least it found my street but still placed me 140 yards away. No panic yet, Friday will be the true test. Friday morning I loading in my addresses and found the optimization key thanks to my experience with the Garmin 1450. Bingo, route optimized! Looking forward to the trip now.However, the trip was a huge disappointment. This 765 did recognize waypoint correctly but the unit kept going to the blue screen with moto's advertisement . I would have to start the trip all over again and delete the waypoint I was at, it would add that back to the route.I'd guess it happened at least 20 times durng the around 3 1/2 hours I used it. Most of time I would be at a waypoint (but not always) and I'd get back to the car and it would be playing it's happy tune. I'm glad it sounded happy cause sure wasn't. The other 765 I had did not behave in this manner.

Used weather widget there, and it showed me USA local weather for Wayne, near Philadelphia.I am home now in Novi Sad and weather widget still shows "Weather for Wayne'' and the temperatures and forecast are for Novi Sad. I tried to go put get GPS lock on Novi Sad in Drive. No change. I can not remove ''Wayne'' in any way I tried. I am having correct forecast and current temperature but I can not remove name of the location.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo i went for my run yesterday and about 3/4 miles away from finishing the MA start acting up. It was saying i was running at a ~6mpm pace. i know for a fact that i wasn't! Then suddenly i was done, I would say less than 1/2 mile away from target. at that point I was so tired that i didn't care that much. but i do care now. On the route map i can see where it all went down and the MA stop tracking my distance. not sure why it happened, but its the first time.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn the settings you can select what you want to display. I know that the distance in miles is displayed in the upper right corner all the time but it is so small and I don't wear my glasses when I'm running so I can never read what it says.
Is there a way to select the distance in miles as one of the four metric settings you can select to have displayed on the workout screen? If so can you tell me what it is called because when I select the "Distance" settings that isn't it. And I have no idea what "Distance - Stage" is but I tried that and it didn't show the distance I ran as one of the four settings in the center of the screen either.
Right now I have the pace selected and when you tap on it it fills practically the whole screen so I can read that without my glasses. But I want to be able to read how many miles I have run.
I have settings for home and when I am bellying up at my local bar trying to get my Guiness on, the Smart Action is not smart enough to know I am 2 miles away from home. Is their way to tweak the geo-profiling?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased a new bike, and changed the setting default profile for cycle to MTB2, and I changed the tire size 29 after I noted the problem after the first run that the ACTV was set to the default cycle, (I guess) but since I started riding this bike the milage and mph have been off, the first ride was showing I think it was 22 miles, it was on 1 apr 2012, you can check my workouts, but we really rode about 27 miles. Today I rode exactly 22 miles and it was showing a little over 20 miles?
I hope I've missed something in the settings, I can't use this if its not accurate, plus I used it for 1 hour and 45 minutes today and the battery was almost at 0%? This is a problem considering that I will be doing 100 miles rides, which can take several hours.
I have noticed that the searching location comes on and stays on even when location is turned off the only way I can stop is by turning location on then back of again. How do I fix that?

Some of the apps on my iPhone are much larger size-wise than claimed on their app page. Example: Wallpapers HD claims 4.4 MB, but the actual size on my phone is 4.9 GB! Pinterest & Facebook also end up being huge real estate hogs. How do I really know the size of an app? The apps don't represent themselves accurately in the app store.
I figured out that 2 of my podcast apps allow me to remove content after listening. Others don't, though.

View 24 Replies View RelatedSo here is the deal I had gotten the Eris on VZW when it came out and put my yahoo email on it when it had the 1.5 OS and when I would delete email off the phone it would not delete it from my email account which I prefer, but now I have gotten tired of HTC/VZW to approve 2.0 OS and have loaded a leaked version onto my phone and now the email also deletes from my account when I delete it from my phone which I don't like besides that very happy with the 2.1 update that I did I was just wondering if there is any way to tell your phone not to delete the emails from the actual account when you delete them from the phone because I accidentally deleted an important email not realizing it also deletes on account.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have noticed in the last couple of days the homescreen seems to stutter when moving from screen to screen. I have very few icons 2-3 on 3 screens and only one widget. It is the wallpaper that seems to jump or stutter during the transistion. I have done factory reset, wiped cache, safe mode, etc. It still does it. Doesn't happen in Launcher Pro or ADW EX. Any ideas on this or what actual app controls the scrolling?

I mean, I know this isn't an amoled and has a reputation for being less vibrant than other phones. But I just notice the home screen and icons always look much more washed out than actual content on the phone which looks great.
on my iphone, when i recieve a message it shows the actual message and i would rather it just say "text message" with the senders name because otherwise i feel as though people are invading my privacy.

It doesn' really affect the camera but it just bugs me that it's there and i've compared with other 4s' and it's not there.
