May 31, 2012From one moment to the other I just see the sender, recepient en subject when I open an e-mail. I can't see the actual text of the e-mail anymore.

Feb 17, 2012seems a bit lame compared to other questions! But, how do I set it so that when I recieve a text, it beeps every two minutes or so instead of just once? I can't find it anywhere! Also, when a text does come, the actual message quickly scrolls across the black bar at the top of the home screen..can I remove this? I would normally have the screen locked anyway but if i'd just used it and left it on the table for instance.

Jun 2, 2012Some of the apps on my iPhone are much larger size-wise than claimed on their app page. Example: Wallpapers HD claims 4.4 MB, but the actual size on my phone is 4.9 GB! Pinterest & Facebook also end up being huge real estate hogs. How do I really know the size of an app? The apps don't represent themselves accurately in the app store.
I figured out that 2 of my podcast apps allow me to remove content after listening. Others don't, though.

It doesn' really affect the camera but it just bugs me that it's there and i've compared with other 4s' and it's not there. Any insight or ideas as to why this shutter-looking thing is over my camera lens?

Sep 7, 2014I'm sending text messages to a list of people I have in an email, and I just noticed that not all (in fact, most) of the messages I sent are not appearing as sent in my Messages application. I'm sending these messages by hovering over the phone numbers in the email and selecting "Send Message" from the popup list. I then type the message I want to send, click "Send," and it returns me to Mail.Â
What's the problem here? I tested it by sending a message in the same way to one of my friends, and she told me she didn't receive it. Is there a way for me to fix this, or do I just have to manually enter every phone number into messages?

Apr 17, 2010So here is the deal I had gotten the Eris on VZW when it came out and put my yahoo email on it when it had the 1.5 OS and when I would delete email off the phone it would not delete it from my email account which I prefer, but now I have gotten tired of HTC/VZW to approve 2.0 OS and have loaded a leaked version onto my phone and now the email also deletes from my account when I delete it from my phone which I don't like besides that very happy with the 2.1 update that I did I was just wondering if there is any way to tell your phone not to delete the emails from the actual account when you delete them from the phone because I accidentally deleted an important email not realizing it also deletes on account.

And I use the GPS option on my BBMaps all the time and used to find my exact location and show me turn by turn and follow me where ever I go with OS5. Now those options aren't available with OS6. And when I check in to FB or want to find my location. It shows me 3 MILES away from where I am.

May 5, 2011I have noticed in the last couple of days the homescreen seems to stutter when moving from screen to screen. I have very few icons 2-3 on 3 screens and only one widget. It is the wallpaper that seems to jump or stutter during the transistion. I have done factory reset, wiped cache, safe mode, etc. It still does it. Doesn't happen in Launcher Pro or ADW EX. Any ideas on this or what actual app controls the scrolling?

I mean, I know this isn't an amoled and has a reputation for being less vibrant than other phones. But I just notice the home screen and icons always look much more washed out than actual content on the phone which looks great.

Jun 2, 2012I have a problem with my nokia n86, when I go to Photos > Captured photos and I "travel" by the months that the pictures were taken, for some pictures, the preview image is completely different than the actual image! For example, I browse the phone for some the pictures taken in september 2011.
Then, when I choose one and try to use it, or even if I enlarge the picture I chose, I find out that the preview is plain wrong. This bug is for most of the pictures I took. This is really annoying - I can't find pics I took and use them. I must move them all to the computer. Also restart wont fix it. And I tried to update the software but it is the latest.
Motorola Motonav :: When Turned It On It Showed Location To Be Almost A Mile (by Road) From Actual?
Jun 26, 2011I went thru the set up. I immediately noticed a difference in performance, when I turned it on it showed my location to be almost a mile (by road) from my actual location, probably a 1/2 mile as the crow flies. I turned it back on a couple of different times in the next few hours but it never did find the street I live on. The battery was low so I hoped that a good charging would get it to function better. The next day was some better, at least it found my street but still placed me 140 yards away. No panic yet, Friday will be the true test. Friday morning I loading in my addresses and found the optimization key thanks to my experience with the Garmin 1450. Bingo, route optimized! Looking forward to the trip now.However, the trip was a huge disappointment. This 765 did recognize waypoint correctly but the unit kept going to the blue screen with moto's advertisement . I would have to start the trip all over again and delete the waypoint I was at, it would add that back to the route.I'd guess it happened at least 20 times durng the around 3 1/2 hours I used it. Most of time I would be at a waypoint (but not always) and I'd get back to the car and it would be playing it's happy tune. I'm glad it sounded happy cause sure wasn't. The other 765 I had did not behave in this manner.

BB Tour 9630 :: Replying E-mail And Original Text
Jan 18, 2010I just got a Blackberry a few days ago (last Wednesday to be exact) and it really hasn't been too bad of a phone. I came from a HTC Diamond which I loved but I wanted something stable and good with battery life and so far once I killed the battery the usual three days and charging fully it has been lasting me great.
Anyway, the question was whether it's possible to automatically not include the original message on my phone when I reply to an e-mail or if there is a keyboard shortcut I missed that can do that for me. Basically to save twenty bucks a month I use Google Voice and it uses my e-mail address to text people and I don't want the original message at all and have to push the Blackberry menu button then scroll down to Delete Original Text then type my message then send it.I still haven't had a change to search for figuring out OS 5 or anything crazy like that yet but since I rolled WM 6.6 on my Diamond and kinda loved it I may soon. But so far 4.7 has been pretty stable.

May 6, 2010I have a blackberry 8530smokey violet, my carrier is Verizon. I'm having trouble receiving and sending any type of message(bbm/email/text) while on a phone call. When I hang up ALL my message come pouring in (I guess I should be happy they come in at all). Initially all the messages came in silently so I adjusted it so that I would be notified when a message comes in. I've since removed it but I still have the problem. Any advice?
Also while at work I changed the ringing to silent but all my messages cause my phone to make noise, I assumed when I made the phone silent I assumed all messages/phone calls would be silenced. Was I incorrect?
