It's actually a very convenient and cool function, however, the messages are always jumbled up with symbols and gaps between words which makes it hard to decipher sometimes. How do I go about making sure my messages are actual 'voice' messages?

I've owned Nokia phones (an no other make) for over 10 years, but this is by far my most disappointing experience. I am at wits end and near the tipping point (of purchasing an iPhone 5).Nearly 1 in 5 times I use the darned thing it crashes. Also, my icons for search items are gone (except for restaurants). I restored the phone and now it won't download any maps! I used to have complete maps for the USA, Canada and Mexico, but now it will not even download the USA.I can not download the latest firmware (version of Symbian). My phone says it is up-to-date, but it is not. I do not have a PC so I can not use Nokia Suite (why? Nokia, get real and write a Mac version already).
When I reboot my phone it will not receive voice mail or text messages! I have to reboot it again.Why is this phone so buggy? I'm sending it in for warranty repair but I don't think I want this or any Nokia software phone. I think I'll try a Nokia Windows phone if Nokia will give me some credit for this phone and allow me to apply it towards the Windows versions. I mean seriously, Apple has their bomb proof software that works. If there is a bug, give them a week and there's an easily obtained update. I'm not an Apple fanboy, but I'm being driven away. I have the iPhone 5c and am on IOS 8.1.1. When I get a voice mail, the voice mail icon no longer lights up. This has been since I updated to the latest version of IOS. I have to turn the phone off. When I turn the phone back on, the voice mail icon lights up. Is there a way to correct this?

Love my new Lumia 900. One odd issue I can't solve and AT&T can't solve. They referred me to Nokia. When I check a voice mail and delete it, I get a blank text message from 1-(000)-000-0000. I get one for every deleted voice mail. AT&T says there is no setting for this.

When people are phoning me, I can hear it ring once, and then it rejects it. The people phoning all say they get told that the phone is busy on another line and are being sent directly to voice mail.

I have tried to change from 4G to 3G and to GSM, but that did not work.
Is there a way to record multiple voice-mail's and then switch between the prerecorded voice-mails? Rather than having to record a new voicemail everytime I want to change it?

OK out of no where my 8520 started now showing text or notifing me of texts it just shows the little text notification that I have a text.When I go to read it it's not there.I'm not using the default theme.When I switch to the default theme it throws everything off.This phone is brand new I had to get a new curve for a different reason.I'm stuck with this for 2 years.

i have an EVO and the talk to text function will not work with any app or with text messages while connected to 3G with strong connection.
-I have the WiFi turned off while i am connected to the 3G network
-the talk to text function works fine while connected to WiFi
