Dec 7, 2014I have 200mb of photos on the phone but the usage says 1.0GB. What is the fix for this?

May 25, 2012My husband and I both have the iPhone 3GS. My husband's phone however will count on the phones data usage 20mb over night while it is charging and on our wifi. it is counting this towards his 3g usage and not wifi. We have already had APPLE reset everything at the store. it is still doing it. so he has to turn off all cellualar data usage at night or it keeps racking up the usage even though it is on our wifi. I plug my phone in at night as well and mine is not doing this

Jun 2, 2012Some of the apps on my iPhone are much larger size-wise than claimed on their app page. Example: Wallpapers HD claims 4.4 MB, but the actual size on my phone is 4.9 GB! Pinterest & Facebook also end up being huge real estate hogs. How do I really know the size of an app? The apps don't represent themselves accurately in the app store.
I figured out that 2 of my podcast apps allow me to remove content after listening. Others don't, though.

Apr 23, 2012On the actual lense on the back of my phone, it looks like a shutter peice has shifted down over top of the lens. It doesn' really affect the camera but it just bugs me that it's there and i've compared with other 4s' and it's not there. Any insight or ideas as to why this shutter-looking thing is over my camera lens?

May 3, 2010Okay I jailbroke and unlocked my iphone 3gs when I first got it back in July. I have not messed with upgrading the software or anything since then but now too many programs are requiring 3.1 software. Currently I'm on 3.0.1 with a baseband of 4.26.08 and I have the TSS SHSH saved on cydia. What is my best way to upgrade to a 5.1.2 or higher software but still be able to unlock my iphone. What program should I use, what exactly should I do?

Well, while adjusting what I would sync onto the new iP4, I decided to try this setting. My music now only consumes 6.7 GB. that's a big space savings. I wanted to add a couple of HD movies to see what they looked like on the retnia display, so this has really helped.

Aug 22, 2010Got my 32 GB iPhone 4 yesterday and set up as a new device using the same playlist of music that I used on my 32 3gs. I check marked the box to convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC just like I had in the past with the 3gs. With the 3gs it brought a playlist consisting of 4625 songs at 26.70 GB down to 17 GB. With the iPhone 4 synced it does the same in the drop down menu under devices then iPhone in Music then at the bottom it lists the playlist that I use, both read 4625 songs at 17 GB. At the summary page with the bar at the bottom it reads I have 23.29 GB of audio on the iPhone and unplugging going to settings then about it reads 4625 songs at 23.29 GB. So I only have 4.48 GB free when I should have around 9 or 10. I resynced twice to see if it would change with the same outcome, restored the device and called apple care with no answer on why it reads different.Going to the Apple Store tomorrow unless one of you has a solution to this.

Apr 7, 2010If I use the option to convert higher bit rate songs to 128 AAC for my iPhone, I can no longer see my ringtones that I've synced on the iPhone itself. When I plug the iPhone in, iTunes shows that they are on my phone but when selecting ringtones for contacts, they are not visible. When I uncheck the option and resync, the ringtones are now there. I've tried changing the name of the tones but no luck. Anyone else have this issue or a solution?

Apr 17, 2010So here is the deal I had gotten the Eris on VZW when it came out and put my yahoo email on it when it had the 1.5 OS and when I would delete email off the phone it would not delete it from my email account which I prefer, but now I have gotten tired of HTC/VZW to approve 2.0 OS and have loaded a leaked version onto my phone and now the email also deletes from my account when I delete it from my phone which I don't like besides that very happy with the 2.1 update that I did I was just wondering if there is any way to tell your phone not to delete the emails from the actual account when you delete them from the phone because I accidentally deleted an important email not realizing it also deletes on account.

And I use the GPS option on my BBMaps all the time and used to find my exact location and show me turn by turn and follow me where ever I go with OS5. Now those options aren't available with OS6. And when I check in to FB or want to find my location. It shows me 3 MILES away from where I am.

May 5, 2011I have noticed in the last couple of days the homescreen seems to stutter when moving from screen to screen. I have very few icons 2-3 on 3 screens and only one widget. It is the wallpaper that seems to jump or stutter during the transistion. I have done factory reset, wiped cache, safe mode, etc. It still does it. Doesn't happen in Launcher Pro or ADW EX. I mean, I know this isn't an amoled and has a reputation for being less vibrant than other phones. But I just notice the home screen and icons always look much more washed out than actual content on the phone which looks great.
