Dec 7, 2015Is it possible to manually toggle LTE on and off for the 950 XL on AT&T? The situation is my work building does not have wifi and has very poor LTE reception. So bad that being stuck without LTE on AT&T has been a revelation at work. If I cannot manually turn off LTE, I am considering not getting AT&T to fix my lack of LTE issue.

Anyway this automatic turning is sometimes too eager to turn the display so I would like to turn it manually. I cannot find any feature which supports this. Only with photos there is such feature but not with sms, web surfing etc.

Sep 27, 2015When I go to "Sound & Notification" and adjust ring volume to max, the sound is pretty low no matter what ringtone I'm using. This is the volume it will use when I get a call.
Then, when I go to "Phone Ringtone" and then "Sound Picker" and listen to the same ringtone at max, it is much louder. This is the volume I want when the phone calls.

May 3, 2010Okay I jailbroke and unlocked my iphone 3gs when I first got it back in July. I have not messed with upgrading the software or anything since then but now too many programs are requiring 3.1 software. Currently I'm on 3.0.1 with a baseband of 4.26.08 and I have the TSS SHSH saved on cydia. What is my best way to upgrade to a 5.1.2 or higher software but still be able to unlock my iphone. What program should I use, what exactly should I do?

Galaxy S6 :: All Volumes On Phone Turning Itself Up And Down
Nov 25, 2015I'm currently having a really weird problem with my Samsung Galaxy S6 (Android 5.1.1.). When I plug in my headphones and play music in my standard music player, after 20 minutes or something, ALL my volumes are starting a party of their own:
- Google talk (I'm not sure if this is the correct name of the app, Spraak in Dutch) is opening and closing itself 20 times, and keeps talking through my music that she is listening to what I'm saying
- Music volumes are turning themselves up and down, if it's going up and I'm pushing the down button I'm battling against my phone - and the phone wins
- My ring volume is turning itself to the maximum, while it was on buzzing
- This is all happening at the same time, the only solutions seems to be turning off the phone. If I close all the apps they just open themselves again.

Well, while adjusting what I would sync onto the new iP4, I decided to try this setting. My music now only consumes 6.7 GB. that's a big space savings. I wanted to add a couple of HD movies to see what they looked like on the retnia display, so this has really helped.

BB Bold 9650 :: Low Ringer And Alert Volumes?
Jun 27, 2010I am on my 4th 9650 ( Sprint ) Bold phone in 2 weeks .. for some reason or another the ringer tones are lower then the Curve I had prior to this. All 4 phones have had low volume in all the ringer modes and alert modes including BB messenger. I have tried everything possible to raise the volume with no luck. Sprint tells me this is as good as it gets and even the Sprint store demo phone was the same. I have the main ringer on loud and all the volumes modes for each ringer are on number 10. I had a Black Berry Curve Nextel push to talk before this and the ringer tones were a lot louder. This is driving me nuts as I have missed calls. I have tried at least 10 different tones and they all are not what I would call loud. Can some one help me out here?

Aug 22, 2010Got my 32 GB iPhone 4 yesterday and set up as a new device using the same playlist of music that I used on my 32 3gs. I check marked the box to convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC just like I had in the past with the 3gs. With the 3gs it brought a playlist consisting of 4625 songs at 26.70 GB down to 17 GB. With the iPhone 4 synced it does the same in the drop down menu under devices then iPhone in Music then at the bottom it lists the playlist that I use, both read 4625 songs at 17 GB. At the summary page with the bar at the bottom it reads I have 23.29 GB of audio on the iPhone and unplugging going to settings then about it reads 4625 songs at 23.29 GB. So I only have 4.48 GB free when I should have around 9 or 10. I resynced twice to see if it would change with the same outcome, restored the device and called apple care with no answer on why it reads different.Going to the Apple Store tomorrow unless one of you has a solution to this.

When I listen to radio the volume setting of 1 is often loud enough, if I then put it in my pocket I mis all calls as it is not loud enough. Jul 13, 2012I got the ICS update, but now my smart actions cannot control notification volume...? Also, I cannot link volumes anymore, so the volume buttons do nothing for me anymore. Turn down ringer, sure....but then notifications and alerts just blast through without having to manually adjust each one! Why was this removedAlso, since the update, the emal widget only allows you to select either one account to display, or all combined?? Why? I have 6 accounts...combined view is just a mess. On GB, you could select the account right there on the widget. Now, you have to go into the email, then switch it. Even then, the widget reverts to the first one you set up. This is annoying and I do not get why this would be removed?That is the same for the news widget and the social media app...where did they go? They were better than any other widgets out there and now they are gone...unless I am just looking in the wrong place?

When I plug the iPhone in, iTunes shows that they are on my phone but when selecting ringtones for contacts, they are not visible. When I uncheck the option and resync, the ringtones are now there. I've tried changing the name of the tones but no luck. Anyone else have this issue or a solution?
