When I go to "Sound & Notification" and adjust ring volume to max, the sound is pretty low no matter what ringtone I'm using. This is the volume it will use when I get a call.
Then, when I go to "Phone Ringtone" and then "Sound Picker" and listen to the same ringtone at max, it is much louder. This is the volume I want when the phone calls.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI use a iPhone 3Gs with iOS 5.1. On my PC, all of my songs have the same good loudness. But after syncing the songs on my iPhone some songs are really quiet. Other songs have a good loudness.

I'm currently having a really weird problem with my Samsung Galaxy S6 (Android 5.1.1.). When I plug in my headphones and play music in my standard music player, after 20 minutes or something, ALL my volumes are starting a party of their own:
- Google talk (I'm not sure if this is the correct name of the app, Spraak in Dutch) is opening and closing itself 20 times, and keeps talking through my music that she is listening to what I'm saying
- Music volumes are turning themselves up and down, if it's going up and I'm pushing the down button I'm battling against my phone - and the phone wins
- My ring volume is turning itself to the maximum, while it was on buzzing
- This is all happening at the same time, the only solutions seems to be turning off the phone. If I close all the apps they just open themselves again.
I just recently got my Droid3 & had noticed how low the volume was compared to my old LG Dare. So I was at work yesterday & a friend of mine had a droid2 global. I could not believe how much louder his phone was compared to mine.All my volume slides are all the way up. turn up the speaker volumes?
View 15 Replies View RelatedI am on my 4th 9650 ( Sprint ) Bold phone in 2 weeks .. for some reason or another the ringer tones are lower then the Curve I had prior to this. All 4 phones have had low volume in all the ringer modes and alert modes including BB messenger. I have tried everything possible to raise the volume with no luck. Sprint tells me this is as good as it gets and even the Sprint store demo phone was the same. I have the main ringer on loud and all the volumes modes for each ringer are on number 10. I had a Black Berry Curve Nextel push to talk before this and the ringer tones were a lot louder. This is driving me nuts as I have missed calls. I have tried at least 10 different tones and they all are not what I would call loud. Can some one help me out here?

View 8 Replies View RelatedIt appears that the only volume action that exists in Smart Actions is the one for the Phone Ringer. Does anyone know of a way to set notification, call or media volumes? If not, I wonder why they left those actions out, especially notification and call volume settings. Those would seem to go hand in hand with ringer volume to me.

When I listen to radio the volume setting of 1 is often loud enough, if I then put it in my pocket I mis all calls as it is not loud enough. If I set it back at level 25 I get woken up at night for incoming mails... BTW, why can't I even define (off-)peak synchronisation intervals for my mails?

Turn down ringer, sure....but then notifications and alerts just blast through without having to manually adjust each one! Why was this removedAlso, since the update, the emal widget only allows you to select either one account to display, or all combined?? Why? I have 6 accounts...combined view is just a mess. On GB, you could select the account right there on the widget. Now, you have to go into the email, then switch it. Even then, the widget reverts to the first one you set up. This is annoying and I do not get why this would be removed?That is the same for the news widget and the social media app...where did they go? They were better than any other widgets out there and now they are gone...unless I am just looking in the wrong place?
View 2 Replies View RelatedEvery time I hook my phone up to my computer, my ringtone changes to the first song in my playlist instead of the mp3 I want. This is not exactly desirable. I think it has something to do with the "disabling"of the SD card while connected to the computer, but I don't know for sure.
View 9 Replies View RelatedThis is an unusual situation. I have this ringtone that is a song about a cartoon character. Some kids texted it to me and I saved it in my ringtones folder. Later I tried to text it to a couple family members. On one of the attempts, it didn't attach because I hit the wrong selection (not sure what).Anyway, ever since, the song comes on constantly and plays all the way through. For example, if I receive a text, the normal text alert sound goes off. But afterwards, the song starts to play and I can't stop it until it has played through. If I receive an instant message from someone on Blackberry Messenger, the normal message alert sound goes off, but afterwards the song starts and again plays all the way through.If I make a call, after I hang up the song goes off and plays all the way through. If I send an email, as soon as I hit send button, the song goes off and plays all the way through. Nothing I have tried seems to work.I have checked all my ringtone and contact settings. I have deleted the ringtone/song from my ringtone file and deleted the few messages and emails on phone where I forwarded it to myself or a family member. Putting the phone on silent doesn't seem to work. Once the song starts, I cannot stop it until it plays all 30 seconds. Anyway, I still have the same problem and the song will not quit playing. So, I think you can see my dilemma. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this problem? I thought maybe it had a virus, but no one that I know who has the ringtone has the same problem as me. I did recently install a new update/upgrade of the Blackberry operating system. Do you think it is a problem with the update?

The phone can make sounds though, so it isn't a speaker problem or something...
When choosing the ringtone from the setup menu. The preview sound was large enought. However, during call-in the ringtone is about 70-80% of the sound compare with the preview. It happen on notification tone!

Ever since I updated the phone, and despite having the ringtone volume set to the maximum level, my phone is always silent.
