When I get any call my phone is not ringing. Its just in silent. But all sound settings are full.
Ringtone: From SD card Problem: some times ringing. Most of the time silent and no vibration too. But my sound settings ringtone volumn is full only.
Got xperia z3 16g internal storage and a class 10 32g sd card. Everytime I transfer files from phone to SD video cannot play and images get corrupted. Tried to change the SD card because I thought problem is coming into that but still the same problem I cannot even use the memory space from sd cause files might get corrupted and videos cannot be played.

This could be related to the upgrade to Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwhich) a couple of weeks ago. Before the upgrade, I do not remember any such complaints (except when I was holding the phonehands-free between shoulder and cheek).Today, I played with the built-in Sound Recorder application. To access it, I installed the SoundRecorder wrapper. I checked the sound levelVU meter while speaking. I had to really shout to reach the maximum level of the meter. Without me shouting, the playback (on the back-side loudspeaker) was very quiet. I also tested this with the wired headset-microphone that was bundled with the phone, and I got the same result. I had to either shout or put the microphone inside my mouth to get loud sound.
Did the Android upgrade (firmware 4.1.B.0.431) make the microphone insensitive? As far as I understand, mobile phones usually have some sort of adaptive gain in the microphone amplifier.explanation is that I had enabled noise suppression in the call settings after upgrading to ICS. I have now disabled it again. In Sound Recorder, I did not notice any significant difference with or without it.
I am having this problem for like 8 months now in stock rom i tried everything u could imagin to fix it , videos cant played on facebook , youtube , camera cant record videos , the only temporery solution is to restart it get fixed for sometime then the bug is back again tried everything nothing gets fixed...
View 9 Replies View RelatedEvery time I hook my phone up to my computer, my ringtone changes to the first song in my playlist instead of the mp3 I want. This is not exactly desirable. I think it has something to do with the "disabling"of the SD card while connected to the computer, but I don't know for sure.
View 9 Replies View RelatedThis is an unusual situation. I have this ringtone that is a song about a cartoon character. Some kids texted it to me and I saved it in my ringtones folder. Later I tried to text it to a couple family members. On one of the attempts, it didn't attach because I hit the wrong selection (not sure what).Anyway, ever since, the song comes on constantly and plays all the way through. For example, if I receive a text, the normal text alert sound goes off. But afterwards, the song starts to play and I can't stop it until it has played through. If I receive an instant message from someone on Blackberry Messenger, the normal message alert sound goes off, but afterwards the song starts and again plays all the way through.If I make a call, after I hang up the song goes off and plays all the way through. If I send an email, as soon as I hit send button, the song goes off and plays all the way through. Nothing I have tried seems to work.I have checked all my ringtone and contact settings. I have deleted the ringtone/song from my ringtone file and deleted the few messages and emails on phone where I forwarded it to myself or a family member. Putting the phone on silent doesn't seem to work. Once the song starts, I cannot stop it until it plays all 30 seconds. Anyway, I still have the same problem and the song will not quit playing. So, I think you can see my dilemma. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this problem? I thought maybe it had a virus, but no one that I know who has the ringtone has the same problem as me. I did recently install a new update/upgrade of the Blackberry operating system. Do you think it is a problem with the update?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I go to "Sound & Notification" and adjust ring volume to max, the sound is pretty low no matter what ringtone I'm using. This is the volume it will use when I get a call.
Then, when I go to "Phone Ringtone" and then "Sound Picker" and listen to the same ringtone at max, it is much louder. This is the volume I want when the phone calls.
I know how to turn the ringtone, but it doesn't work... Not with the zoom button on the right side of the phone, not in the drag down from the top of the screen... Not even in settings...Â

The phone can make sounds though, so it isn't a speaker problem or something...
When choosing the ringtone from the setup menu. The preview sound was large enought. However, during call-in the ringtone is about 70-80% of the sound compare with the preview. It happen on notification tone!

My phone isn't jail broken and all factory settings, so what is going on here?Is it just a random error in the OS or itunes store? View 3 Replies View RelatedI set my wife's contact with a custom ringtone. Sometimes when she calls, the phone plays the custom ringtone. Sometimes she calls, and it plays the default ringtone.
I check the settings, and the custom tone is still set correctly. And the ringtone is on the phone, not on the memory card.
Today I noticed that when this happened, the phone started ringing the default tone while her cell number appeared on the screen, before the phone detected it was the contact with her name. Could it be that the phone delayed recognizing her number as being on the contact list, and therefore played the default tone?
Is there any way i can locate the default ringtone when the sd card is in use (i.e connected to pc or ejected), the rintone you select normally changes to something default when SD card in use.I really like it but unable to locate it when i browsed the system/audio folder.
