When choosing the ringtone from the setup menu. The preview sound was large enought. However, during call-in the ringtone is about 70-80% of the sound compare with the preview. It happen on notification tone!
I have just purchased my X10 no more than a day ago and find that when talking to someone the ear piece volume is not very loud. I have set the volume setting to max and its still very faint and hard to hear.I also find the Ring Tone Volume is not very loud, even after setting it to max.I have confirmed the Firmware is the latest version, just as a process of elimination.
Ray has very low ringing volume, even @ full volume level(7) it can't hear from next room. I miss lot of calls due to low ringing sound....since the speaker is @ bottom, it may also a reason.
I turn ring volume to maximum but its volume still lower than 70% of my other phone LG. Is it software issue or hardware issue? Moreover, the increasing ringtone seems doesn't work, the volume was in the normal level since beginning.
I find the call volume very low even in a quiet environment. If outside, I find it very difficult to hear what my clients have said. One fact business people love blackberry is because it has got good call and ringtone volume.N900's ringtone volume is good, but the call volume is just too low. (I have already used the side button to max the call volume, the strange thing is, 50% and 100% make very little difference...)
So I've had my 9700 for a couple of months and now the volume seems to be so low lately. I've done battery pulls, changed the settings and everything. There's been no water damage or any other damage to the phone. Any one go through the same thing?
I just updated my phone to 5.1.1 from 5.0.1. The max ringtone volume under 5.0.1 was much louder than it is on 5.1.1. What gives?I have restored just to make sure the update didn't go wrong. Everything works fine except the ringtone volume.
I can use my Blackberry normally in all respects, except I can no longer get a dial tone or hear the person I called (the call does go through) unless I am on speakerphone. Speakerphone is the only way I can now use the phone. Did I turn on something automatically or?
Is it possible to set an "increasing volume" for the ringtone as it was in previous BBs? Volume setting goes from Silence to 10, but one of the most interesting optins is not there.
Is there an easy way to adjust these at the same time? It's annoying to have to go into the settings to change the notification volume when I change the ringer volume. My S3 changed both with the volume button.
Since a couple of days when i unlock my iphone 6 (iOS 8.1.1) using TouchId, the ringtone volume increases to maximum automatically (almost every time). A reboot of the phone didn't show any improvement.
I have a new Droid Turbo. Among the ringtone selections, the loudest I can find isn't sufficient for me to hear. Volume is at max. Where can I go to make it even louder? Is there an app I can download with louder ringtones.
I just bought a Samsung R351 link and I'm having troubles with volume. All levels are set to their highest but when I have incoming calls or texts, the ringtones and alerts are barely even audible. I've talked with a Samsung tech person and they couldn't help. I bought one the day before yesterday and it had this problem. When we called they told us it was just a faulty phone and to replace it. So, we did but, we have the Same problem with the new one.
Got the ota of Marshmallow 6 on my Nexus 6 from Verizon Wireless about a week ago....not to sure if this has anything to do with the new doze mode or not, but since the OTA, my volume on my ringtone, is grayed out, and I do not get any notification sounds or ringtone anymore.... How to make it right again?
On the Galaxy S2 even though the ringtone volume is set to max, initially it starts off quietly and gradually increases in volume. Is there any way of changing this to ring at a constant level instead of starting quietly and gradually getting louder - the number of calls I've missed because of it.
This is the only phone that i've had that does not allow the option to link the notification and ringtone volume together. it's really inconvenient to use the volume rocker to adjust the volume of the ringtone, only to have to go deep in to settings to adjust the notitication volume as well.At least on my nexus 7, there's a mini setting when you hit the volume rocker that allows you to adjust the playback and notification volumes from your current screen. i hope that gets added to the JB build of this phone, if we cant link.
In GB we used to be able to link our ring tone and notification volume. Doing that allowed me to use Smart Actions to lower the volume of my phone when at work, or make it go completely silent when at school. After upgrading to ICS I no longer have the ability to link the two volumes (see attached photo). How can I link the two volumes again and continue using Smart Actions. (note I want to try and not use third party apps to do something that was an included feature, ex: using another profile management app to disable notification sounds.)
I have a Droid Turbo, and on both KitKat and Lollipop you have to change volume settings separately. I'm always turning down my volume, just to get a full blast text alert that startles me right out of my seat. On previous phones (including other Motorola droids) all notification volume settings were linked and changed as one. Why is that not a thing anymore? How does that not just make the most sense? I know there are apps out there that could do this, but I don't want to have to download another app to simplify something that should be simple in the first place.
I've had my S5 for a year now. I noticed ever since the 5.0 upgrade that i got in April for my ATT S5 that I have been missing calls and texts due to my phone going into silent in my pocket because the dreaded volume keys are able to press themselves in my pocket even with the screen locked and off. I don't see an option to stop this behavior and to me it seems like an OBVIOUS place for there to be an option.
What can I do to stop this? Even worse sometimes it will click up to a high ringtone volume and go off when I am in a meeting at work.
Every time I hook my phone up to my computer, my ringtone changes to the first song in my playlist instead of the mp3 I want. This is not exactly desirable. I think it has something to do with the "disabling"of the SD card while connected to the computer, but I don't know for sure.
This is an unusual situation. I have this ringtone that is a song about a cartoon character. Some kids texted it to me and I saved it in my ringtones folder. Later I tried to text it to a couple family members. On one of the attempts, it didn't attach because I hit the wrong selection (not sure what).Anyway, ever since, the song comes on constantly and plays all the way through. For example, if I receive a text, the normal text alert sound goes off. But afterwards, the song starts to play and I can't stop it until it has played through. If I receive an instant message from someone on Blackberry Messenger, the normal message alert sound goes off, but afterwards the song starts and again plays all the way through. If I make a call, after I hang up the song goes off and plays all the way through. If I send an email, as soon as I hit send button, the song goes off and plays all the way through. Nothing I have tried seems to work.I have checked all my ringtone and contact settings. I have deleted the ringtone/song from my ringtone file and deleted the few messages and emails on phone where I forwarded it to myself or a family member. Putting the phone on silent doesn't seem to work. Once the song starts, I cannot stop it until it plays all 30 seconds. Anyway, I still have the same problem and the song will not quit playing. So, I think you can see my dilemma. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this problem? I thought maybe it had a virus, but no one that I know who has the ringtone has the same problem as me. I did recently install a new update/upgrade of the Blackberry operating system. Do you think it is a problem with the update?
i bought a ringtone that was delivered by text from cellsea. i thought it would show up in Ringtones in settings. It didn't. How do you get the ringtone into the ringtone library so it can be hooked to a incoming ring
