Motorola Droid 3 :: Why Does The Calendar Icon Show 31 Instead Of The Actual Days Date
Jul 16, 2011
I had a annual repeat calendar entry that was set for the wrong date. When i went to edit, i could edit for that day but not the series......couldnt edit the date?why does the calendar icon show 31 instead of the actual days date?
I am trying to troubleshoot and I don't remember what the last few apps are that I installed. Is there any way to show the date and time that an app was installed? It seems that they can only be sorted by size or alphabetically. If not, are there any apps that do this? Is it even possible with android?
I needed to show the date stamp on some pics I shot on my RMHD running JB. I know the date info is included in the EXIF metadata I was surprised that I could not find a way to enable this to show this on the actual pic. I checked the Play Store and found nothing.
Since I had already downloaded my pics onto my Win 7 laptop, I figured some Win app would allow the date to be displayed on the pics. Wrong! Finally after googling, I found a Win app that would add the date stamp to my pics.
Presuming this feature does not currently exist on JB or the Gallery app, I think having the ability to optionally add the date stamp to pics would be useful. The option needs to be user selectable so that pics can be shown without the date stamp or with the date stamp.
I have attached a pic without the date stamp and with the date stamp (using the Win 7 app to overlay the date).
950xl dual sim from US, non insider.I just got the firmware update yesterday and found out the live tile stop showing any information. Not a big deal but once you know it, it is annoying, just like the creaking back cover.I don't think this firmware update fix the heating issue, my phone heats up quickly even when browsing internet with Edge.
I have noticed in the last couple of days the homescreen seems to stutter when moving from screen to screen. I have very few icons 2-3 on 3 screens and only one widget. It is the wallpaper that seems to jump or stutter during the transistion. I have done factory reset, wiped cache, safe mode, etc. It still does it. Doesn't happen in Launcher Pro or ADW EX. Any ideas on this or what actual app controls the scrolling?
I have the calendar icon that updates the date. I think it is made by (DMG) It shows the 31st not the 1st. I had this problem back in Jan but the latest update fixed that. Now the problem is back.
on my iphone, when i recieve a message it shows the actual message and i would rather it just say "text message" with the senders name because otherwise i feel as though people are invading my privacy.
I got one problem, that is my N82 phone is jumping date, for Example: i just have returned back to normal yesterday and today is Saturday 16.01 but it is saying monday 18.01. every week i have to get it back. i have checked the Date and times setting and put to the time zone i belong and country ofcourse and switched On/Off Network Operator Time but nothing helped so far, the phone is updated with new firmware.
The only issue I have had on my Droid 3, to this point, as been the terrible battery I have experienced, even having bought an extended battery. It's good to hear that there will hopefully be a fix for this soon.
I am wondering if anyone else has been having their Droid 3 reboot randomly for no reason at all? I have never had this issue, but for the last 3 days, it's been happening over and over. It happened 3 times yesterday, 2 the day before, and now the second time today.
I don't know if this was even an issue for anyone since this device has apparently had more issues than most, and I've been spared from the majority of them.
my screen for the last few days has been goin bright then dim constantly. I can turn it off and back on it will stop. until i plug it back in thenit starts again. I have even done a fdr a few time to see if that would fix the problem.
When creating an event in the calendar I've noticed the default date is totally random. Issumed it would use todays date but noticed the date would jump around depending on whatview you have on the calendar. I know it's just a matter of choosing the correct date but it's
here do you find the build date in the D3?I was sure i saw it in the settings menu however i checked there the other day and not there so i cannot remeber if i did see it there or not does anyone know of a way to gete this information
How many people are there whos devices still says "Your Device is UP TO DATE"?I feel like each and every person got tasty scoop of ICS on their devices EXCEPT me!I just wanna know how may people are their, waiting for ICS like me? I request, if you posted over here about not getting an ICS and after a while you get an ICS.
I have calendars that sync to my computer and calendars that sync to my icloud, calendar entries that i have set to the icloud calendar disappear after 30 days. Is there somewhere I can change this setting? I like to search my phone to find the last time "something" happened, usually something that I track in the calendar. I can't find how to retrieve these missing items back to my phone.
Info:iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1, only items on icloud calendar gone
My camera died and I heard the Droid Turbo had a great camera so I killed two birds with one stone. I purchased a new phone and got a great camera at the same time. Now the problem. I must have date taken on my photos. I don't print photos, I send them to other people. How can I get date taken on my photos?
My wife's Droid Turbo is displaying the wrong date and time. Like right now, its 6/14/2015 8:37 am but hers displays 6/9/2015 12:03 pm. I've tried clearing her phones cache but it didn't work. Will factory reset work or will she need a new phone?
So, when using most camera apps, the EXIF data (specifically Date Taken) is not filled in for any picture taken with this phone. Is there a way to enable this field? I have tried at least 4 different apps and was hoping the ICS upgrade would do it, but no love. What is up with this major failure?
With all the digital media in my life, I have automated a lot of processes to organize and make things consistent, so when I find something that makes the job harder, I really loathe it.
Over the past few weeks the date on my phone has reverted several times back to June 28, 2008.
When this occurred, the phone also failed to use or keep network time. I thought it might be the battery, but it shows a strong charge. This is the kind of symptom I would associate with a cmos battery failure in a pc. Does the X have a cmos battery like a PC?
I almost missed an important appointment as my phone thought it was still years away!
Is it my imagination, or was I able to scroll between Days when in Day view? I am sure I used to be able to do this without having to first go to the top row. I seem to remember that if I was looking at a 10am appointment on any day I could scroll sideways to check out the same time frame on subsequent or previouse days. With .593 I seem to have to scroll up to the top row showing days to be able to move days and then back down to the relevant time slot.Either I am imagining it or this facility is not in recent OS builds?
My calendar has started losing days and appointments. I retore from back up, add new appointments and all well for about a day then some days disappear.
After getting my blackberry torch 9810 back up and running, I can't find how to get the settings that will not delete my calendar after 60 days. I need to keep my calendar without losing any of it.
I have a MacBook Air, Ipad Air and a I phone 5. I have all of them tied to the cloud. I after noticed that some but not all of my appointments on my calendar disappear from my I phone and I pad after they are 60 days passed but not from my Mac Air.why this is and can I fix it so that I can keep those appointments on all my devices.
I have my calendar option set to keep appointments for 15 days and my Outlook to only sync future appointments. However, my appointments stay in my BB way past the 15 days and I have to go in and manually delete them.
When I do a backup with Desktop, it truncates all calendar items older than 60 days even though I have selected the "keep them forever" option. I need at least one year because all the anniversaries and birthdays I enter will disappear every 60 days.
