BB Torch :: Calendar Loseing Random Days?
Feb 16, 2012My calendar has started losing days and appointments. I retore from back up, add new appointments and all well for about a day then some days disappear.

Aug 8, 2011When I do a backup with Desktop, it truncates all calendar items older than 60 days even though I have selected the "keep them forever" option. I need at least one year because all the anniversaries and birthdays I enter will disappear every 60 days.

Sep 9, 2011The only issue I have had on my Droid 3, to this point, as been the terrible battery I have experienced, even having bought an extended battery. It's good to hear that there will hopefully be a fix for this soon.
I am wondering if anyone else has been having their Droid 3 reboot randomly for no reason at all? I have never had this issue, but for the last 3 days, it's been happening over and over. It happened 3 times yesterday, 2 the day before, and now the second time today.
I don't know if this was even an issue for anyone since this device has apparently had more issues than most, and I've been spared from the majority of them.
IPhone :: Calendar Disappear After 30 Days
Jun 1, 2012I have calendars that sync to my computer and calendars that sync to my icloud, calendar entries that i have set to the icloud calendar disappear after 30 days. Is there somewhere I can change this setting? I like to search my phone to find the last time "something" happened, usually something that I track in the calendar. I can't find how to retrieve these missing items back to my phone.

BB Bold 9700 :: Scroll Between Days In Calendar
May 22, 2010Is it my imagination, or was I able to scroll between Days when in Day view? I am sure I used to be able to do this without having to first go to the top row. I seem to remember that if I was looking at a 10am appointment on any day I could scroll sideways to check out the same time frame on subsequent or previouse days. With .593 I seem to have to scroll up to the top row showing days to be able to move days and then back down to the relevant time slot.Either I am imagining it or this facility is not in recent OS builds?

Jul 1, 2014I have a MacBook Air, Ipad Air and a I phone 5. I have all of them tied to the cloud. I after noticed that some but not all of my appointments on my calendar disappear from my I phone and I pad after they are 60 days passed but not from my Mac Air.why this is and can I fix it so that I can keep those appointments on all my devices.

May 29, 2012I recently acquired a Torch 9810, originally from Rogers but MEP2 unlocked and running on Fido with a 6GB data plan. It's my first BB, a choice that I made specifically because I was so impressed by my Playbook. There is, however, one thoroughly frustrating problem, which is that it suffers from random reboots. Symptomatically, there is a brief pause, followed by the backlight turning off (I can still see the previous content on the screen sometimes), followed by the red LED and then the BB logo with the loading bar. It looks similar to a soft reset or battery pull. These reboots seem to be completely random:
1) They take place over a wide range of activities, including web browsing, email reading and composing, Facebook, Twitter, built-in apps, even when looking through settings menus.2) The frequency seems to be random too, sometimes I can go for half a day without a reboot, but sometimes the phone will reboot twice in the span of a few minutes.
I tried reloading the stock Rogers 7.0.0.254 OS but this did not solve the problem.Thereafter, I have gone through 3 different 7.1 OS versions, each time using BBSAK to wipe my device to a 507 state. I have tried Telus 7.1.0.267, Mobilicity 7.1.0.378 and even the latest official OS for my phone, Rogers 7.1.0.391. I'm not sure that my apps are contributing to the problem since I have the problem after a wipe, but I have the following installed:BB ProtectBB BridgeBB MapsBB 5 soundsFacebookTwitterWindows LiveMessengerYahoo MessengerGoogle TalkWikitudeWord MoleBrickbreakerGoogle Maps There seems to be plenty of free storage space, over 180MB right now.

May 30, 2012I put my phone on silent and locked it. It then started playing unknown audio of some american man speaking ( it sounded like a cheesy advert) extremely loudly , and it wouldnt stop or switch off in the conventional way. I then took the battery out and it stopped. I have taken the battery out again since I do not want it to start going off while i am in work but obviously I don't want to have to do it all the time. Any ideas what happened. At the time my Wifi and 3G were on but not bluetooth. It's a Blackberry Torch 9800 and i've never had any problems before. Its worht saying that after turning it on and leaving the office to see if i could work out what was wrong with it, it didn't do it again, and i went into every folder/app and nothing out of the blue happened.

I thought my battery was defective, but i turned off my device, and it said i had 90% battery or so.So for 4 days straight, timeserver the battery got to low, i had to pop out the battery, and it would show the actual battery percentage before it rapidly depletes.I tried wiping my device, then restoring it with back ups and that didn't work.

Aug 25, 2010I have bought a Torch, but cannot get it to set up in the Organizer configuration to sync with my Calendar in MS Office XP- Outlook. My computer runs Windows XP. The contacts and memo will configure (although) they are posting to an archive folder and when I try to change that I get Error 0x80043bea), but the Calendar and Tasks will go through the set-up process, but when you finish it, the checkmark on those 2 Outlook folder disappears before you can even select the advance settings.I have re-set the configuration on the Desktop software a couple of times, to no avail, and uninstalled the Desktop 6.0 software and reinstalled it. None of these measures have changed the problem.Any suggestions?
