I have a MacBook Air, Ipad Air and a I phone 5. I have all of them tied to the cloud. I after noticed that some but not all of my appointments on my calendar disappear from my I phone and I pad after they are 60 days passed but not from my Mac Air.why this is and can I fix it so that I can keep those appointments on all my devices.

Is there somewhere I can change this setting? I like to search my phone to find the last time "something" happened, usually something that I track in the calendar. I can't find how to retrieve these missing items back to my phone.

iPhone 4s just updated with IOS 8. Now my calendar does not offer the full list of items by day on the screen. Instead I see the month and below the month are the appointments in a list for the selected day only. I would like the option to have the full list available as it is much easier to scroll thru the list when making appointments.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI am noticing this issue from the past couple of weeks and probably after the last update. When I open the calendar Icon, the dates do not load on the phone. It just doesnt show any dates?
Also if a reminder is past, it shows a past reminder and the reminder also doesnt open up.
Whenever I do the hard re-boot i.e keep the power button pressed till it vibrates three times and shuts and re-starts, then initially the calendar shows the dates, but again after sometime if I have to open the calendar, it doesnt show the dates at all, and goes back to the same issue.
I was adding appointments and save the date information to my calendar and slipped my Samsung Galaxy 5 back into my purse and about an hour later went to check my calendar for my day ahead and my calendar is blank. All the appointments, birthdays, and reminders about sporting activities and events for my three children has disappeared. How do I get that info back?

I have a reoccurring problem with appointments that are set in Outlook that will appear immediately on my iPhone calendar, but when I check back later sometimes the event has been deleted from my iPhone calendar but not from my Outlook calendar. It's driving me mad. Some of the times it does this is when I send an invite through outlook for an event to another user. The event will appear on my iPhone calendar but once the other person accepts my event invitation it will disappear from my iPhone calendar, but remain on my Outlook calendar. It doesn't do this everytime, but seems to be when I notice this happening the most.
On my phone settings I have the outlook calendar set as my default calendar. My iPhone is also synched with two gmail accounts a Hotmail and an icloud account. The only calendars I actually use however are my Outlook and the the iPhone calendar.

I have an iphone 4 using OS 7.1.2(11D257) I have an icloud account that I do not understand, and I backup my contacts and calendar and a few other things. Somehow the info on my calendar for past months disappeared. The only thing that remains is a standing appointment each week on a specific day and time. Why did this info disappear? Can I retrieve it?

Is it my imagination, or was I able to scroll between Days when in Day view? I am sure I used to be able to do this without having to first go to the top row. I seem to remember that if I was looking at a 10am appointment on any day I could scroll sideways to check out the same time frame on subsequent or previouse days. With .593 I seem to have to scroll up to the top row showing days to be able to move days and then back down to the relevant time slot.Either I am imagining it or this facility is not in recent OS builds?

I'm using an unaltered (not cracked, no custom ROMs, etc) Droid X2.Android: 2.3.4System version: 1.3.380.MB870.Verizon.en.USKernel version: 2.6.32.9-00005Build: 4.5.1A-DTN-150-30nyways, the built in calendar is constantly deleting appointments. It will literally delete them 2 seconds after I save them. It's to the point where I have to fill in the details of an Appointment a minimum of two times every single time. Recurring appointments don't delete themselves. But appointments that only occur once disappear instantly.
Yesterday for example I had to input an appiontment 4 times before it finally stuck. After saving it I then re-opened it, hit Edit, and made sure all the details were still there. I then re-saved it and closed the calendar. Opening the calendar again (right away) it was already GONE! The 4th time it finally stuck. This was yesterday. Today, looking at my phone right now the appointment in question is missing AGAIN.'m also noticing that whenever I open the calendar it always shows me a date from like 2 months ago. So it will not open to the current month/week/day. This has always been the case.
How can i change the weekend days to other couple of days rather than Saturday and Sunday?

Being a CDMA user for so many years, I enjoyed nice voice clarity on almost any phone. 4-5 days back I have switched to GSM with 8520. Everything is nice but I'm experiencing very odd problem. I really don't know whether it is my mind playing a trick or it is true.
When talking over the phone, I feel the sound from other end is compressed...muffled... whatever you call it but its not clear as I used to get it on my CDMA network. I have tried enhancing options with boosting treble but not much difference. My ears feel pressurized while talking. I have told my wife to check the clarity but she is ok with it. For CDMA conection I'm using Samsung SCH-S379. Its very basic yet very clear compare to 8520.
I'm running on pre loaded 4.6 OS. My phone is made in Hungery 3 and its January 2010 make. Not yet activated BES/BIS. Does upgrading OS to 5.0 helps in improving earpiece voice clarity ?? do we have any other adjustments ?? is there always a difference in voice clarity in GSM and CDMA ??
