I am trying to export my contacts to Outlook, but as I have 2 address books in my Curve 8900, linked to 2 different mails, the desktop manager just exports one of them.
One email account works perfectly (that is the one that exports the contacts), but the other is no longer valid, so I cannot manage it as I cannot access neither.
Is there any way to select those contacts as a block, and copy them even in the SIM or through the Desk top manager?
i have a Blackberry Curve 8900. I'm on a network in Ireland called Meteor but my phone is an unlocked Orange UK phone. Last week Meteor starting supporting Blackberrys but i have no service books on my phone for Internet or MMS. I can't log into Meteor or Orange BIS website to get the service books and i don't have E-mail Setup on the handset to get them that way either. I have rang Meteor and Orange and neither seem to know how to get my Internet and MMS up and running. I don't think that it has anything to do with Orange anyway seeing as the phone is unlocked and I've been using it on the Meteor network for the past year just without certain functions. I've tried a battery pull and I've tried the Register Now function through the Host Routing Table option. Nothing seems to work and it's really starting to bother me.
I've tried just about every trick in the book to get my BB to use the internet and BBM.
o2 say that all settings on the phone and their internal networks are correct. I send off to register the device, I never recieve a message back from BIS
I've been trying to get this sorted for 7 days now and I am so close to throwing the thing in the bin. Are there any RIM/Blackberry employees on this board that can take a look at it or tell me why the service book message just isn't being sent?
FWIW I bought this phone off a friend, on the same network and PAYG and everything worked fine with their sim, I put mine in and it just won't work, no matter what.
I've wiped, reset, downgraded OS, upgraded OS, gone over all settings, talked to o2 online, by phone, in store god knows how many times, and all i get is "register the device" IT DOES NOT WORK!
EDIT: I have an active blackberry bolt-on/data plan with o2
So, is anyone running the Hybrid OS 5.0 on their 8330 on the Verizon Wireless?I read where someone suggested the Verizon's Service Books don't support the OS and possibly the GPS would not work.
I downloaded the free version of docs to go but when I try to open a document (xls) it reads "More request cannot be completed. Service book information not found." I'm rather stumped and the other posts I have read have not helped.
my 8350i will not accept service books. I have never received a text message. I have downloaded and installed combined 3 and still no results. in the desktop manager it shows 23 SB but only installs 5-6 SB. I have the latest software and still only a partially functional boost berry.
I resored a previously saved back up into my phone, now my email addresses will not work. even the link to setup the email address says no email addres available.
I have a BB 8520. Suddenly when I compose new email it is not able to fetch the addresses from the "Address book" If I enter an email address like there is no "Send" menu, there is only "Save Draft" menu I have sent the service book several times, rebooted the BB (battery pull), still it is not helping. When I send SMS, it can access the address book. If I get an email, I can reply to email. From address book, I can click on an email id and send email.
I got a new BB and transferred all my info from my 8320 which I'm giving to my son. Problem is I can't seem to delete the email accounts I transferred. I don't want to do a general wipe as some of the info on the phone already is useful for the new owner. I've hidden the icons for now but just want to delete them. When I go to email setup I'm not seeing the emails and all I get is an option to setup new accounts.
Trying to set up emails on new phone, every time I try to set up Rogers emails, message of "invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password." Was able to setup hotmail but not rogers.
I have been using the blackberry without problem to receive email until last week when I got an email from Blackberry asking me to verify an email password on my Blackberry. I went into the blackberry setup icon as they suggested and clicked on email settings. However rather than a list of email addresses I got asked for a my user name and password. I have never used a user name on this phone which I received new a few months ago. I tried all my email addresses with no luck!
I was given a copy of fast 5 which was a bluray with dvd and also digital copy.
I selected the digital copy to be in iTunes rather then Windows Media Player since figure more chance of viewing in future if I get a iPad or something.
So it downloaded to my iTunes put it in my movies section, then I connected my iPhone to iTunes and click sync Movies and made sure it was selected.
But now I get a error message stating "Fast Five was not copied to the iPhone "Lanky71" because it cannot be played on this iPhone"
I'm using a iPhone 4 with current iOS 5.1.1 with iTunes v10.6.1.7
How do I establish two separate email folders for different email addresses, work and school for instance and have the replies from each folder come from that specific address?
I am trying to transfer all my info from my old blackberry to my new one. The old phone was broken so the shop has taken it, but I was able to do a backup before. The BB desktop is saying that I have to connect my old device, which I don't have anymore and copy the info over.
I am unable to copy some of my pictures from my blackberry curve to my laptop , its only some that are copying and I don't know how to check which folders are what
My Blackberry was starting to reboot on its own, was up on contract, so I replaced it. Now I realize I should have copied my sms text messages etc to my computer while still online with Sprint - any way to use the computer cable and copy the text messages, pictures, etc to my PC even though the phone is no longer connected to any carrier?
I visited the blackberry applications website on my computer. I see programs/applications which may help me. Next to some of them i see a fee to purchase the program. Are those one time fees or monthly things? Or is it program specific. the thing i was looking at was called Zbook and seems to keep a copy of my contacts.
Been having a few issues with my Curve 8520 version 5 (it says, but I've tried a few things for version 5 and it seems as though it may be version 4 even) and so am updating my contract. Now I would like to be able to print off a copy of both the contacts and the calender somehow.I have done some research and am starting to think it is not possible to do. It's been backed up to my computer and someone mentioned they can then be printed from there, but again I can find no method to do so!
