About two days ago my Blackberry 8530 couldn't connect to the radio, and at the top where the signal bars should be it only says off.I went to nextel here in Mexico to find out what happen, and they told me that I have to buy a new radio because the couldn't fix it.I haver never drop it, or something like that, and I dont think its fair to buy another cellphone that it's in excellent conditions.I try installing again the Os

View 5 Replies View RelatedI live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.
Anybody else having this problem?
What do these Icons represent or mean, and the meaning when they change Colors from White to Blue (Status Icons). There was a GB 2.3.4 User Manual Posted on Moto's site, Unfortunately no information was included about these Items. What does it mean when all three are blue, Including the H+ icon having arrows beneath it at the same time? I have found that there seems to be no correlation between the signal strength (in dBm / asu) in Settings -> About phone -> Status and the signal bars that are shown. Often the signal bars will shoot from 1 to 5 or 6 even with really low signal ( ~97 to > 100 dBm) that doesn't fluctuate.

The mobile signal cuts off suddenly and i get SOS and after 4 to 5 seconds it comes back again.I also have one more problem. After disconnecting a call when i try to make one more call immedeatly then nothing happens in the handset. The call screen comes but the phone doesnt transmit or receive for 10 to 15 seconds. The strangest thing is that it's able to pick up signal very rarely, and I'll get a flood of texts and BBMs / Emails etc, but I don't understand why.. I can't get a picture but on "Manage Connections" where it says "Mobile Network" it says "On" in green font but then the little symbol next to that is a white horizontal line.
