BB Curve :: Application Not Working Without Restart?
Sep 5, 2012
when i get connected through WiFi , the only app working is the browser and the reset of the applications not working , and after restarting the blackberry phone every thing working fine for just 24 hours then it come back down again and i need to restart again
I've been using a daily horoscope program with no problem since I first got my phone a few months ago. Today when I went to use it, it told me an update was available, so I choose to accept the update. When it asked if I wanted to reboot/restart the phone now or later, I selected now. The phone proceeded to update the software and now I can't use my phone at all.
I tried connecting my phone to my computer so I could restore it, but desktop manager says it can't communicate with my phone. And when I plug in the power cord, my phone doesn't even register that it's charging up. So, since so much of my life is connected to my phone, and I can't use my phone at all, I'm squirming. Of course, AT&T online tech support is closed Sundays; I guess nobody else has a phone emergency on Sundays. All I get is a white screen that tells me to reload software.
My Nokia C3-01 RM-640 has V 07.15 firmware and version 2.2.45 email software. This is the latest software according to Nokia Suite. I like the phone very much but there is a serious problem with the operation of the email software. Almost every time I try and open an email I get a message "Mail out of memory. Restart application". Occasionally I get the "java/lang" memory error that others have referred to. This renders the email function virtually useless. I am using the phone's standard built in email program. I delete all old emails. I have no games or apps installed on the phone and the phone memory (as opposed to the card memory) is showing 20% free.
On my Xperia X10 mini pro (running in french), systematically after restarting the phone, I get error message: "Unexpected closing of application Diagnostics Tool (in com.sonyericsson.ndroid.crashsms)." How to diagnose it?
I just purchased a blackberry 9220. I tried downloading some applications, games and themes on it and have them installed. But when I tried clicking the apps, nothing's happening or is not working.Btw, i have already installed IOS 7 on my phone.
I have this new Curve 9300 V5.0.0.977 Platform6.3.0.63 Branding version1.0.88.282G. I have subscribed to a BIS. I downloaded social netwoking applications such as Twitter and Facebook directly from Backberry Phone. Unfortunately Facebook is not working error message as follows "You are currently on a service plan that does not support this application. If you want to use this application please contact your service provider to upgrade the plan". I tried to contact my service provider and they dont know also why.
I tried to use Blackberry application world but its not working as well message as follows" Blackberry App World is not currently available in your country. Please checkBlackberry.com for updates."
I just updated my phone, and found a new app on my homepage. Its called visual voice mail, and when I bring it up, it makes me download a "Self Serve". When I downloaded it, it was supposed to download it to my memory card, but I cannot find it, and this app wont work. Anybody know how to get it up and running?
Alright, I have had my Blackberry Curve 9300 3G for about 6 months now, and never had problem. Recently, I have been noticing my App World is freezing when I try to download or update my applications. See, I am trying to download Twitter to my phone, and every time I click "download" it says "please wait". It stays like this forever, and I can't press the back button or blackberry menu button. Occasionally, it tells me I need a Blackberry Identity update, which I can't seem to get access to either. After this happens, I can't do anything on the App store, yet I can still run the phone, its just the App store that is frozen. I restart my phone after this, and it resets everything, just to have it happen again. I know I have the Identity update, and all my software is up to date as well.
Im using nokia 5530 and usually it goes slow and some of its apps stop working like music player hangs but remain playing. it slows down while sending or receiving messages even when messages are in outbox. Its RAM remains 80mb full even when no application running only 40-45mb is available. Sometimes its headphones' player buttons stop working and start working after restart.
I'm not sure whether this is a 9700 problem or a problem with Orange (UK) but it seems that every time I restart my BlackBerry, be it a battery pull or a restart from removing an app, my phone loses the ability to connect to UMA ("ISP or wireless network error"). The first time this happened I rang Orange and got them to reset my service and this seemed to do the trick since shortly after my UMA connected again. After installing and then removing App World and restarting my BlackBerry, it's gone again. Obviously I can't ring Orange support at all hours of the day and every time this happens.
Has anyone else had this problem? I'm totally stumped on this one..My Bold is running OS 5.0.0.351 (The latest version on Orange)I've tried numerous battery pulls, resetting the router, wiped my handset, re-sent service books, all the usual stuff. The wifi icon is white and NOT greyed out. All other wifi features are working except UMA.
My iPhone 4 has turned off, which seems to be a common problem. Everything I can find says to hold the power/lock screen button + the home button together, along with a combination of plugging it into the computer/ wall, etc. Unfortunately my power button stopped working ages ago (another common problem it seems), so that method of restarting my phone is out. Aside from the power button issue the phone is in pristine condition, the LCI's are normal, no scratches or cracks. I'm not in a place where I can easily obtain another phone and need it for work purposes,
My camera and camcorder don't work, I take a photo with the camera and it does all the right things but does not save the image, the camcorder pushes you out of the camcorder screen when you push the record button and back to the home screen, I have tried to clear the Cache data under phone settings. If I turn the phone off and on again it works fine for a little bit but I shouldn't have to do this everytime I want to take a photo or movie.
My internet, bbm are not working and im not receiving emails, all im able to do is text. i tried taking out the battery and then restarting it but it did not work.
I am having ringtone issues with a newly bought Hazel (J20i) mobile phone. The ringtone seems to work fine for sometime after I restart my phone and then it stops working , i.e., even when I get a call, the ringtone does not work and I miss the calls. Only silent (vibrating mode seems to be working fine.
I've had my BlackBerry Curve for about a month and one of the first things I did was download facebook onto it. It was great! Pokes and other notifications landed straight in my email inbox and if I wanted to post something myself or have a look at other people's statuses, I just went into Applications and clicked the facebook icon. Last week my phone crashed and I had to turn it off and restart it. When I got it back on, there was no sign of facebook, either in my applications or in my email inbox. Instead, something called 100% Games and something called Bubble Bash 2.0 now appear at the end of my menu - I never downloaded these, and I have no idea why they are there.
I have an 8900 curve and I was rebooting it after an app download. He doesn't restart. Red light just blink one time then pause and blinks four times more. DTM doesn't connect with the phone. When I try to wipe it using JL_Cmder , it can't connect to my phone. Please, what can I do?
My phone turned off on its own and rebooted, when it came back on it I got a notice saying "Uncaught Exception: index 30>=30" and no longer gave me the option to text. The image for texting was no where to be found in the phone, and I wasn't able to send or receive texts. I can still call and receive phone calls.
I have just bought a new BB Curve 8520 handset where in I am facing some application problem, I was trying to play the WORDMOLE game which is installed in the set but the moment I start playing it the handset gets Hanged and I need to switch it off and then use it.
Whenever I restart my phone, even to uninstall an app (facebook was annoying), once the blackberry starts up again, messenger is deleted, along with all my messages and contacts. This is very, very, very frustrating, for lots of reasons.
My software is v5.0.0.681. I have AppWorld. I had v. 5 of BBM and have upgraded to v.6 as I got an e-mail encouraging me to do so. App World says I still have the earlier version of BBM installed, but I can't find that. I have looked, I know how to look, but it just doesn't seem to be there.
Last time I reinstalled it, and it worked fine, but obviously occasionally you need to restart your blackberry, so I'd really like to get this problem actually solved.
Is it possible to have my BlackBerry to turn off automatically but I switch it back on whenever I want? I've tried the auto on/off but it asks for the timing of which it will be back on.
I went to update my 8350i and it came up error. I have restarted PC several times. Used different PC to reload. I have even tried wiping it using JL commander on both PCs and use Crackmem and nothing is working for me.....any advice?
BlackBerry Curve 8250 freezes during a hard restart. Progression bar on black screen stops 2/3 of the way. I've tried removing battery again and same thing happens.I work with this device and absolutely need it to be functioning again
