I have just bought a new BB Curve 8520 handset where in I am facing some application problem, I was trying to play the WORDMOLE game which is installed in the set but the moment I start playing it the handset gets Hanged and I need to switch it off and then use it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been using a daily horoscope program with no problem since I first got my phone a few months ago. Today when I went to use it, it told me an update was available, so I choose to accept the update. When it asked if I wanted to reboot/restart the phone now or later, I selected now. The phone proceeded to update the software and now I can't use my phone at all.
I tried connecting my phone to my computer so I could restore it, but desktop manager says it can't communicate with my phone. And when I plug in the power cord, my phone doesn't even register that it's charging up. So, since so much of my life is connected to my phone, and I can't use my phone at all, I'm squirming. Of course, AT&T online tech support is closed Sundays; I guess nobody else has a phone emergency on Sundays. All I get is a white screen that tells me to reload software.
I click on update and the screen changes.
HTC Service pack is shown on the screen with a green dash going from right to left of screen, but nothing else.
My phone suddenly hangs, become hot and all buttons and screens become unresponsive. Is there any way for me to reboot the phone?
For my older phones, when that happens. I would normally plug out the battery but Z5 premium does not allow that at all.
Now I'm really concern and I'm thinking what should I do? as the phone is currently still radiating heat as I am typing the question now.
My new blackberry Curve 9220 is not working properly. This set hang most of the time some time I'm not able to pick phone calls.

It's just easier to hold and talk with it in my hand in front of my body or else I set the phone on my desk. My screen time out is set to two minutes, so after I've talked for a couple of minutes my screen goes black. Then, when I'm ready to say good-bye, I can't figure out how to get back to the phone active screen! If I were holding it to my head it would automatically go to the phone screen, but when on speaker it doesn't. As a result I usually wait for the other party to hang up the phone. Tapping the power button doesn't do it.
How to I return to the phone screen after my screen has timed out and I'm on speakerphone?
I have took th Blackberry just 4 days back and i am facing a problem already and it was my dream to buy the blackberry but after buying just after 4 days my cell hangs while recieving the call, only trackpad works and i cannot unlock the phone as well and i have to remove battery and restart the phone to make it work please suggest me what has to be done to make my phone to work properly do i have to take it servise centre or any suggestion which i can do to solvethis issue.... Around that time, I installed a few apps which have worked fine, except I noticed that one, the New York Time Crossword, did not show up on the menu. I could run the app fine from AppWorld. Today, I noticed that my messages icon is gone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIf i set my phone to airplane mode (which i usually do at night) the next morning i'll find it with near to no battery and just hanged on the samsung logo. I've tried to leave it out of airplane mode a whole night and it did not crash. Now just today, to see it happen, i set it to airplane mode, within an hour/hour and a half i tried to pick it up and wasnt responding to any button and suddenly shows the samsung logo.
So i'm pretty sure now that the behavior is linked to Airplane mode. I've cleared cache etc. I'm just not sure where to start. There must be something that just crashes the phone when in airplane mode. Going for factory reset is out of the question for now (well idealy). ps : it was fine under KK
Where to start/what to look for ? I'm in the meantime downloading the Android SDK, after that I'll put the usb debugging on and have an adb logcat running and force a crash again.

I started having this strange bug: for no apparent reason, suddenly every phone call i try to make ends after 1-2 seconds, before even reaching the recipient. Only way to resolve it is restarting the phone. After a while the problem can repeat itself randomly.
My Nokia X-3 shuts down or/and doesn't show desktop properly.I'll have to restart my phone every second/third day.It seems that media connected to contact posts I forgotten too.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy power button my my HTC One M7 stopped working. Unfortunately, it is currently powered off. So, even though it has a 100% charge, I can't turn it on b/c that requires that I press down the power button. Here are some of the things I've tried from what I've been able to read online:
1. Starting HTC One M7 in recovery mode: Unfortunately, in order to start an HTC One M7 in recovery mode requires holding down the down volume button + the power button. Without the power button working, this solution won't work to get me started.
2. installing adb and fastboot: I'm running Mac OS X 10.10.5 on a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 MBP (retina, mid 2012) machine and have homebrew installed. I issued brew install android-platform-tools. I then changed my $PATH to include the downloaded adb and fastboot programs.
Once I had that set up, I tried to connect to my device through the USB cable. Unfortunately, I don't believe I had the developer mode turned on that allowed USB mounting (MTP). The phone is running Android 5.0.x. So, when I try running 'adb devices' in terminal, I get the response that there are no devices connected. I try 'adb reboot' but with no devices detected, i get, 'error: device not found.'
I tried using diskutil list to see if there were a way to detect the device as connected to the computer even if it's not mounting. But that didn't work, either.
I have had the phone since first launch with no issues until now
From time to time, the phone will not start charging when power cord i connected, simply nothing happens. when I restart the phone the charging will start (with the same original charger).
