View 9 Replies View RelatedBeen having my Z3 for 3 months now running Android lollipop, I installed a new 128GB micro Sd few a month ago and it was working properly until a week ago, I restarted my phone and all applications on SD went missing, I couldn't access any application of them all am getting is an icon of blue print with a red SD circle ND if I try to access it an error pops up "application not found".
I plugged the phone to my laptop still I couldn't access the Sd card, so I took it off the phone and tried accessing it through an SD adapter and it worked fine, I can find everything properly saved in the card.
Tried formatting it and installing it again in my Z3, MY PHONE recognized it Instantly, but after restarting the phone all applications went missing again.
it shows my internal card was damaged. i cant able to view the internal memory of my mobile micromax canvas turbo 2

If I take the card and put it back in, it says it recognizes that I've inserted a card and prompts me too restate. After restart I get the same message saying there is no SIM card. Do I need to try factory reset? Trying to avoid that if possible.

If I restart my phone with the memory card inserted, my phone just hangs on the Nokia white screen and does nothing, but upon removal of the card it starts up fine...
After the phone starts up, I usually re-insert said memory card and everything works fine untill now, after inserting the card, my phone jams up and won't respond to button presses or screen touches....
I've removed the faulty memory card from the phone and done a chkdisk on it, with Windows doing all the repairs to the corrupted files and reinserted it but it still jams the phone up whenever I insert it....
Did a hard reset on my phone and reinserted my card and now it's stuck at a dialogue box thats says : Installing
Are there any ways that I could get it working again without loosing important data on the memory card?
I have this data dongle with a removable SIM card. Keep it plugged into the laptop all day long. At night, surfing the web is more convenient on the E7 than the laptop, and so I regularly turn off the E7, and replace the SIM card with the one I have in the dongle (haven't subscrived for a data plan on the SIM i use in the phone, cause i always have this laptop with me and paying for two data connections is an overkill, just need it for like 30 mins every night before I fall asleep). Don't really care about the dongle, i will throw it away if it breaks, it's not that expensive. But will removing the SIM card from the phone once every day damage the SIM card tray on the E7?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought Xperia Ray this year. I wanna ask in this forum that Does overcharging of my xperia ray phone damage the phone as well as the battery?
Because, I have experienced in some Mobile of different make, the battery charging goes automatically off once it gets fully charged. And thus protect the phone as well as the battery.
When i select ringtone/notification tone through Android system (not in Sound picker) it srart to play but when the display is turn off then my Xperia Ray is turn off(do not show any notification in display) and the tone is off. If I press any key(on/off,home) it restart and take the restarting time. My Android version is 4.0.4 and Build number is 4.1.B.0.587
View 6 Replies View RelatedEvery time when I restart my xperia z2 some random old messages are resend. These messages don't show in the messaging app either so I have no way of knowing which messages were send and to who. I've checked with my provider but they couldn't fix it. It's really annoying because I constantly have to explain that I did not send any message.

View 2 Replies View Relatedtoday listening to my iPhone at the beach, a huge wave clobbered me. I grabbed it from the water as quickly as I could find it and dried it off asap. I tried to turn it off to keep it from shorting out, but it won't. I have it in a ziploc baggy with 2 pouches of industrial size bags of silica, but every time I try to turn it off it looks like it is powering down and then restarts itself.

I just put my my m8 for fun on high performance mode and the difference is so big I'm leaving it here. Its fantastic.
Smooth with no pauses or lag. Does not even seem to get hot. Can any damage be done?
I also turned off the animations as well which could also contribute to the speed feeling really fast. My battery does not appear to be draining much faster.
I currently don't have internet and the only way i have internet is through my phone so i was wondering that when im tethering will damage or hurt my phone in any way everything seems to be going good no damage yet but can i expect to see degraded perfomance in the future if i continue to do so or something like loss of battery performance
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy cat knocked my 8220 into a sink full of water while I was doing dishes - the phone was submerged for maybe 4-5 seconds, after which I disassembled the phone, dried everything off with a paper towel, and left the components to finish air drying. I didn't put anything into the rice as I heard is the best way to completely soak up any excess moisture, but the phone worked without an issue about two days later. Two weeks after the fact, my phone is unusable as of a few days ago, when it started compulsively resetting. This happened to me a few months ago, not a result of water damage, and I had to have the phone replaced with the one I'm using now. As of today, a tech with my service provider ascertained that the phone needs to be replaced again, and set up an in-store replacement. The reps there however will be looking for water damage, and I am curious to see whether or not they will find any.
The small square sticker near the SIM card slot is pure white, with no markings or smudges or discolouration. However, the sticker at the end of my batter is pink, with very clear darker pink X's on it. I read that if the sticker was pink, it's game over, yet other things I read said that it's okay if it's pink, as long as the X's are discernable. Does anyone know for sure whether or not I'm in trouble?
My phone dropped into water a week ago.Aftter drying it, the phone is working fine when I connect it to my pc.When I remove the usb cable it turns off and error jvm 545 pops up.Then I do a master reset and then reloading the OS,.Working fine and then the same thing happen again.
