Suddenly I can no longer sync my 9330 to my outlook.
Using OS 6.0 bundle 3084

Windows 7
The desktop software says that it cannot connect and implys there is a problem with the usb cable, but upon plugging it in, it launches the desktop software.I need to get a new phone, and it wound be a blackberry.
Up until two days ago I could connect without any problems to my home wireless connection however now every time I try it says it failed to require an IP address. I have tried rebooting it and the other tricks that usually work such as turning on and off the connections but nothing is working.

My legend has connected to my router without any problems until the other day when BT had a problem and we were without phone line and router for 48 hours. When it came back, I was no longer able to connect with the Legend. My laptop connects wirelessly without a problem but I get the message: "obtaining IP Address.." and then it disconnects and tries again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had a Lumia 1020 for a while. I've been connecting it to a Win7 desktop to offload pictures at work, and I connect it to a Win8.1 desktop at home. Today, I plug in my 1020 to my Win7 machine and it doesn't show up in Windows Explorer. I reboot the machine, still won't show up. I go to devices and printers in control panel and I delete the driver, replug in my phone, and upon discovery, it's now trying to install a Lumia 909, which fails, BTW... So I can't offload picts to my Win7 box. I need to try it with my Win8.1 machine.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading my 5800XM to v40 and upgrading to the latest PC suite and software updater versions on my PC, my phone no longer connects with the computer with the error message "cannot authenticate phone" with bluetooth. If I try USB connection, the OS crashes while trying to install phone software (windows 7 pro, Dell Inspiron 6400). I have uninstalled and re-installed all nokia software on the PC and still got the same results. Even without PC suite, the phone does not connect through the PC bluetooth anymore.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently updated my sprint 9630 to v. 5.0.0.1030 (bundle 1675, platform 4.2.0.451). My desktop manager no longer recognizes the phone when I plug it in. My laptop rcognizes that the phone is plugged and it is charging the phone as well, but the software doesn't work. It keeps telling me that it is disconnected. When I run update for the desktop software it says I have the latest version installed. It still shows that my device software version is 5.0.0.983. I have turned off my firewall temporarily, rebooted the laptop, did a battery pull on the phone and nothing works. It still does not recognize the phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the Torch 9800 and I'm running Wndows XP with the most recent version of Desktop manager.Up until two weeks ago my phone and computer communicated beautifully, syncing, back-ups, file sharing, everything. But last week my computer and phone seemed to fail to see each other and now nothing is happening when I plug my phone in. The phone goes to the 'clock' screen as if it's plugged into a charger and doesn't display a connection issue on it's end, but the computer does not show that anything has been connected.So far I have:
1) Checked the USB connection to the comptuter
2) Tried different USB ports
3) Tried a different USB cable
4) Wiped and re-installed Desktop manager on my computer
I'm at a loss on how to get my computer and phone talking to each other again.
The battery on my daughter's BB Curve 9300 went completely flat the other day and will no longer charge in the usual way. However, we have found another way to recharge the battery and after inserting it fully charged to the handset re-booted.
It all re-booted ok but when the password screen appeared it wouldn't respond to any keys on the handset and she can't enter the password. The handset is now permantently locked and won't even switch it off. We've tried removing the battery and re-booting (several times) but no luck.
Is there a dock for the Curve 3G 9330? Something that would let me "stand up" the phone on a night stand as an Alarm Clock and charge (or run phone on DC, non-battery power) at the same time?

After setting up the sync function (with a yahoo account), my blackberry screen in blank. There is a blinking red light in the top right face of the phone. It blinks twice every 3 seconds Battery is fully charged and I tried to remove the battery and reinstall it. No change. I tried to hold down the end button to turn it off and nothing happens.

I orginally had 3 emails on my device but now it will only show 1 and when I go to verify my other emails it doesn't work. It keeps saying that it cannot connect and to try again later. The trackpad is working fine but the keyboard isnt. I tried taking of the battery several times i took it off for the whole night and it still doesnt work. I finally called my phone company and they said they would send me a new one but if they find out i damaged it i have to pay $350.
