I bought my blackberry 9300 curve about a year ago, but since two months, my blackberry crashes a lot. I was running on the newest os 6 version, but when it kept crashing I downgraded it to v5.0.0.977. But it still crashes. Today I figured out that if I turn off my wireless connection it won't crash.
View 9 RepliesHowever the last few weeks, it's been cutting out, Crashing, freezes up. Boots up, goes to the White Screen and goe's black, doesn't come on for at least 5 minutes before it boots up.I've been trying to reload its software but unable to because the phone freezes up and cuts off. So i have no clue what to do at this point. It has little episodes where it spazzes out goes white and the screen flickers for 20 seconds and shuts off. Battery pulls have been tried to fix the issue but even that isn't even working.i'm a Blackberry Guru myself but i've never seen this issue ever before on my Curve 3G. The odd occasional crash maybe due to over load on the memory, but this is getting beyond a joke, i can't even boot it up for at least 10 minutes or even a minute after it boots up it goes like Hell is decending into the thing.
UPDATE: I'm also being informed i'm not the only one with this issue, a fair few blackberries have gone insane in my area. Like if a hacker is tapping into the software and destroying it inside out with a virus or something. < An idea but not accurate.
blackberry turned itself off yesterday and now wont turn on when i put it on to charge a battery with a cross on it comes up and has been there for the past 3 hrs but nothing seems to be happening?

I have tried to change the encryption on the hub but again I get the same problem.This Blackberry is the only problem I have wirelessly, I have several laptops and consoles that connect wirelessly fine.

View 9 Replies View RelatedHave a BB curve 9300 3g, software ver 6. on a payg contract with Tesco. It worked fine until this morning when I noticed it was rebooting (the same as a battery pull) constantly. It would boot, update security and reboot again. Finally managed to switch off wifi and mobile network to see if this made a difference and the rebooting stopped. I've since switched on wifi, and this is fine.
But as soon as the mobile network is turned on it will try to obtain a signal and within 2 or 3 seconds will start rebooting again. I've tried it with different battery, different sim, with and without microsd card, deleting all apps, upgrading software to latest version etc etc but nothing works. Right now I have a mobile phone which is of no use as it cannot receive a mobile signal.
I just got the Curve 9300. I can't seem to sync the contacts and calendar with my Mac's BB Desktop Manager. It shows the message, "... turn off wireless synchronization by opening Address Book on the device... etc." There isn't such an option available.

When running any of the apps first time (after installing) connection tru 3G or WiFi is OK. Usually i turn off 3G to save battŠµry.When i run an app next time - it requires internet connection (Curve 930 internet access is OK. Then - the same problem. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB 9300 with a preinstalled OS 5.0 as I connect it to a the Blackberry Desktop software it prompted me to upgrade to OS 6.0. now my problem is during upgrading and downloading of modules my internet connection went off several times and error has occurred, now as I connect my 9300 to my laptop the desktop software cannot detect the unit and an error stating that my BB is rebooting thus I cannot connect with the software. When I follow the BB instructions for this I find I cannot trun off wirelesss sync for calendar. My Chrome book has 5 bars, my Kindle Fire has 5 bars, but the S6 has 2 bars. I can start a download on the S6 and the Kindle Fire at the same time and the Kindle Fire downloads much faster.

Usually the phone using opera mini asks if you want to use mobile internet (not wireless) but now it almost never does, so I get the connection error message as there is no wireless, but I also cannot use my mobile internet. Just today it gave me problems because of that. bassicly, I cannot use internet, unless I have good wireless signal.And I have mobile internet as priority number 1 in my settings. View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a wireless bluetooth enabled speaker. I have paired it with my Blackberry Bold 9930. I play music (Pandora) on the blackberry and it plays thru the speaker. When the music changes songs it stops playing on the wireless speaker and starts playing thru the BB speaker. I have to disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth on the BB to make the music play thru the wireless speaker again. The same thing happens when I get a phone call and music is playing thru the wireless speaker..The speaker instructions say to use A2DP for audio streaming between devices. how to keep the music streaming to speaker?
