My camera image has suddenly gone all reddish and kind of distorted, and when I take a picture it acts like it is snapping the pic but nothing records in the memory. Has anyone else's camera done this? I've taken it to 2 different AT&T store and no one has seen anything like it or knows what to do. All of the camera settings are correct.

I keep receiving this error message: "During synchronization, some of the records were invalid. The following 1 records where skipped: Address Book -0, Microsoft Outlook -1 Do you want to view the synchronization log for more details?" The sync log doesn't give me any clue, apparently there´s no big deal, but it generates the error and I also can´t sync with splash ID
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've got a few questions about my AT&T Curve 8310...I was looking through "Options > Applications" and saw that the app that took the most memory was "Content Store." Anyone know what this is, if I can delete it, & what would happen if I did? Is there any way to shrink this down some?
My address book takes up quite a bit of memory; so does my calendar -- both of which were synced from Outlook. Is there any way to have the addresses/calendar data stored onto my microSD instead of the device memory?
Lastly, I noticed that when I call people using my Curve, it shows up on their caller ID as "private name, private number." Where can I change this setting? Is it in my provider's settings (which I can access online) or on the BlackBerry's settings somewhere? Also, is it possible to at least NOT have it show private when calling those on my address book, such as friends & relatives?
I have a 8330 it came with applications on it already most of them i never use i was trying to find a way to delete them off my phone to free up some memory but when i click on the options for that app it doesnt give the option to delete it?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI do not have a media card in my black berry 8310,therefore, I use the internal memory for pictures and stuff. When I plug my blackberry into the computer it recognizes that something was plugged into it but when I go to Computer to access the D: drive, my removable drive, the computer tells me to plug in a removable disk, yes whilst my blackberry is already plugged in, very frustrating. i dont understand why. Also i do not get a message on my phone to turn the mass storage on or off, i went to options and i have it on and tell my blackberry to prompt me also.if the first problem can be resolved and my computer can recognize my blackberry as a storage device, is it possible to recover any lost pictures off of my internal memory with recovery software?
View 4 Replies View RelatedA friend gave me their old Blackberry but it was used for his work email and was set up with a password just to access the phone. He doesn't remember the password. I put a new sim card in, but is still asking for the password. We tried 4 different ones. On the 5th it warns you that your program will be deleted. We haven't tried the 5th password. It we do will it erase information in the sim card?
Is there a way to clear everything out of memory and reset the Blackberry to it original defalut settings.I tried pulling out the battery with the phone on, but that doesn't do any good.
It started happening all of a sudden and I can't find a way to revert it back.

Keeps going from the black screen to a white screen with the little spinning clock and back? WHat happened?! I don't have insurance on the phone, but I don't think its an "insurance" issue as I didn't do anything. Is it still under warranty since I've only had it since Sept?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recieved my Curve 8520 6 days ago and I am still waiting on my service provider contacting me about the Blackberry Tariff HOWEVER when setting up my phone using the Wizard Setup I did not have two options for the email setup, only Enterprise Email Activation...I have never had one, this is my first Blackberry. How do I apply the other option of Add An Email Address? Or does this mean that the phone has been used by someone else (even though it was bought from my service provider "brand new"), or a fault has arisen? What can be done?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm a BB newbie but recently received one for work. My problem is trying to transfer the contacts from my old cell phone (Sanyo SCP-7050) to my new Curve 8330. I took it to my local Sprint store and they said the contacts can't be transferred because the BB is registered on a BES. The Bluetooth connection won't work either, I assume for the same reason.Am I out of luck or is there some other way I can get the contacts into my BB? I have the contacts stored as individual business card files (.vcf) and was hoping there is a way to use the micro SD card to load them on somehow.

To my surprise after doing a hard reset there was an entry on the log that show an SMS message was sent to an unknown number the time show it was sent after setting up the time in the phone setup. View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter trying 3 days to get my BB 8310 Curve connected to my network provider (I do have a data plan and internet plan) I´m a little bit upset.
The problem: I have all necessary data-plans and also registered my BB on the internet at the Web-Page (BIS?).Ok, my handheld is also recognised and the system doesn´t complain.But: on my handheld I can see only the word "edge" (in small letters - this shows that no data-plan is active as we know, but that´s not true) and not "EDGE" as it should be.An even better suspicicous issue: I called with the hotline from my provider and he also could see within his database that my handheld is registered and all plans were active.
So I tried following:
I inserted my SIM to another BB and it worked! (not so with my BB)
I also inserted another SIM from my colleague (who also uses a BB) and what happened? Nothing - also no connection.
So I assume that there´s somehow a bug in my handheld? Has anybody an idea? I would very appreciate it.
By the way, I have the latest OS:

I've been trying to update my phone for about 2 hrs now and i can't seem to get it to work. I've updated my desktop to v5.0, but everytime i click the link on the website it tells me i have the current version. i checked under "about" and i have v. 4.5.0.175. HOW DO I GET V5.0? oh and i have verizon if that matters.

It then shortly thereafter is marked "A" for answered, and I receive a response to my message, all which makes sense. But sometimes I've noticed that my message is marked A, as if they've answered me, but I never receive a message back. Does this mean that they answered me and I just never received the message? That they've received my message and ended the conversation?Just wanting to understand why my message would be marked A when it doesn't appear to have been answered. any ideas?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a 8350i through Nextel. A couple of weeks ago my BB shut itself off and then turned itself back on. I did not think much of it until it started happening very frequently. When I say frequently, I mean every 10 minutes. Quite frustrating for a phone that I use for work. I took it to a local service department but they did not know what was going on so they just swiped the software and reloaded it. This resolved the issue for about 24 hours and then it has started again. It was sporadic again with about a day between each one but it has since become a very frequent issue again. It is happening about 5 times a day that I know of.I am currently running Version 4.6.1.313.
