Dec 22, 2012When recording video, the sound of people talking near the phone is too low in volume. The should be an option to adjust the sound recording level/sensibility for the normal use, and then I would use the default current settings for recording music concerts.

Aug 29, 2012I was videoing a long event and at the end the time flashed and then the videoing stoped after about 26mins. I then restarted videoing the next song and ran out of mass storage memory after about 2 mins. I quickly deleted some old photo/vid and continued videoing.
Later that evening I checked the video and non was in the gallary.I check via the PC etc. I also tried a photo recovery app for mass storage solid state disks. All came up blank. I tried to record more video it would show immediately in the video players gallery view but not in the normal gallery and when I tried to play it would only show the last frame and have an error message "unable to play". It still allows the recording of photos.
I have now changed the storage to the SD card and it is fine on the SD. I have change to record to the mass storage area but it will still only do photos

All installs are on the mass memory, emails and messages have been cleared out (gives back a couple of Meg) i'm down to 52Meg at the moment. I reformatted once (back to about 120Meg) and since then it's shrunk and continiues to get smaller!

May 13, 2012Does anyone have a fix for the C drive filling up on N8 Belle?The suggestions in the FAQ and on various forums to delete emails, clear caches, delete photos etc are only temporary. Some people have said that re-installing Belle fixes the problem but it sounds like this too is only temporary.I am seeing MBs of space being eaten up by something, through normal use even when I perform these cleaning tasks regularly and don't install anything new. Anyway the amount of space taken up by a few emails is miniscule by at least an order of magnitude compared to the amount of space that's disappearing (kBs compared to MBs). It looks like something more fundamental is at play a resource leak somewhere, perhaps a process that's creating temporary files but not clearing them up afterwards.

Aug 23, 2011My C: memory is showing as full when I try to clear it through the phone file manager despite looking through all folders I cannot identify any large files on it and the same is the case when I try to look through my pc software.
When I hold on the C: memory and look at the memory details it shows 131mb of messages even though I have deleted all txt messages and emails, 46mb of SIS applications I can't see these in the file manager and 72mb of other files which I assume are the OS files.

Tried resetting the settingso n the phone and updating the maps on the Nokia Store. Now I'm stuck. Nokia drive was my second reason for buying the phone after the camera, so I'm a bit distraught lol. Feb 13, 2012Started to prepare for installation of the new Belle for my N8-00 but during step 2 of the installation (back up) a red expression mark appears telling me that "there is not enough space on the computer. Minimum requirement is 1,5GB on the e: drive. Please delete or move 0 MB from \e-enheten" (direct translation from Swedish version of Nokia suite, please see attached pic). I successfully made a back up using the common steps earlier today.The issue is that I don't even have an e-drive on my computer. C: is there (of course) then a whole bunch of network drives from my office network (F: ->X but no e: The only e-drive I have is the one on the phone and there I have enough space available.I have the latest version of Nokia suite btw (3.3.86).

Jul 3, 2015I'm unable to record any video on my z3+. My camera app launches fine, but when I try and record it becomes extremely slow and unresponsive. When it doesn't crash it records extremely choppy videos that are barely watchable. (please note, this is regular recordings, not 4k). I have the same problem in third party camera apps. I've tried all sorts, forcing the camera app to stop, clearing data, reseting etc. I've just done a factory reset and the problem remains.
Also, I'm unable to download the high res music from the promotion (posted that in another thread).
Together with the overheating issues I'm seriously regretting getting this phone, and recommend others dont. I'll probably be returning it this week. It's a shame because I really liked my Xperia z.

Sep 24, 2015I have a galaxy s5 plus (sm-g901f on 5.0.2) and for the last number of weeks I have been unable to record video in 4K.
The option to select 4K exists in the stock camera app but when I record in 4K the file size is tiny and the quality is terrible.
A 4K video recorded in UHD only generates a file size of around 2MB for a 10 sec clip.
I compared this with a buddies phone and he is racking up around 8MB per second when recording in 4K on his S5.
Recording in UHD worked on my phone in the past as I still have 4K videos in my memory card so something changed went wrong. HD and Full HD record fine for me.
I reset the camera settings, wiped the cache partition, rebooted phone, removed battery and memory card, changed storage location to internal memory, and finally installed the Google Camera app but there is no 4K setting available in there.

Jun 5, 2011Recording is fine with the stock camera app, BUT none of the other market apps I've tried can record in HD. e.g. 'aLapRecorderHD', 'Daily Roads Voyager', etc. The market Apps seems to record OK @ 720x480 or anything below.All of the apps I've tried produce corrupt HD video with green artefacts all over the screen. They all work OK on my Nexus1 @ both 720p & 1080pCould anyone with a newer firmware?, try one of the above market apps and see if HD video can be recorded?

Dec 9, 2010My N8 "phone memory C drive" is FULL. Applications are freezing, crashing, the phone is self restarting.
I see memory phone of 256 MB full with USB connected to PC. When I look inside the folders, nothing in some, no large file in others.
1. Why the phone memory is full? I did not install apps on the C drive aka phone memory, I did not put photos, videos or anything there, I don't use email.
2. Why I cannot find the files that occupy the memory? No large file can be seen.
3. Is this the cause of phone auto restarting and the cause some applications are crashing, closing in front of my eyes or in the background?
Why when I receive a simple call and I have only a game open after the call ends the game is already crashed / closed?
