Nokia Nseries :: 808 Records Video With Sound Too Low?
Dec 22, 2012
When recording video, the sound of people talking near the phone is too low in volume. The should be an option to adjust the sound recording level/sensibility for the normal use, and then I would use the default current settings for recording music concerts.
I have just bought a new C3-01 but the video camera only records for 5 seconds then stops. how to change this to continuous? Nothing in the book, only press to start and press to stop!
i have a problem with video playing. i put some video from my pc via nokia pc suite and convert it to my n97. iit`s playing only few seconds and then the video stops but sound is still playing. i tried put the video without converting in mp4 formate but it`s the same. if i try to play some downloaded video from ovi or some carptured video it plays with no problems. i`ve already tried to reinstall my frimeware but it didn`t solve the problem...video : http://www.Internet.com/watch?v=ebhub4qetys
I decided to hard reset my 5530 and format the memory for the first time because it was running slow and the music library takes to long to refresh. To my surprise after doing a hard reset there was an entry on the log that show an SMS message was sent to an unknown number the time show it was sent after setting up the time in the phone setup. Just wondering if its a virus or something cause I bought the phone brand new about 2 months ago, and I just realized it just now after a couple of months. After doing a hard reset, the log records an SMS message is sent to an unknown number.
My Nokia N97 Basically Has No Sound at all. No ringtone, no Sound for music player, no warning tones, no alarms. Nothhin. But all this sounds come on a headphone if i connect it. I reboooted my mobile several times but its of no use. And sometym, maybe for a couple of second i could hear the sounds.
I was given my nokia lumia 800 as a Christmas present last year so I've had it 9 months now as up until this problem its been a great phone. Yesterday I went to watch a video and there was no sound, I checked the volume settings, made sure the volume was up to fall and I even reset my phone. If I put my ear the speaker I can just about hear it. If I make a phone call I can hear the other person fine but if I put them on loud speaker I can't so its the speaker on the bottom of the phone.
I have a nokia 5530 and every time I try to play a wmv file that I have downloaded or a video I recorded I keep getting this error message : "Unable to play sound or video clip".Can any one help?
I just want to ask why I can not play .3gp video after I installed Anna? Actually It is working but with sounds only and no picture appear just a black screen with the sound of the clip. My device is N8 and it was able to play different types of clips including .3gp but not after installing Anna software
I would like to know the best video format ,resolution and bitrate for conversion and playback of videos on the N8. Which resolution is best so that video plays on full stretched screen?
Just got a new N8. Took a video clip and downloaded it to PC. Need to rotate the clip now. It is in MP4 format.Downloading a 3rd party software will be my absolutely last option?
Since both Skype and Fring fail at providing any video support from calls to PCs, do we N8 users have any other option at all?For the developers out there, just how much effort would it take one to learn Qt and write a simple calling application (no contact management, P2P) ?
I'm waiting for this since about 3 years on Symbian.I'm able to create a music playlist but what about video?I can create *.m3u playlist of let's say *.mp4 files which is recognized by i.e. real player. Then I can copy it to my Video folder. However when I run it on my n8 the music player starts and plays audio only. How can I do this to force full video playback by video not music player?I think there is no way to do this right now. But I hope someone from Nokia will read this and will push it further. I think it's not hard or expensive to implement it in the future software release and it will add another great "PC-like" feature.
On my Nokia 808, in camera preferences, there is no "Camera Sounds" option. Does this mean that the phone that I purchased is for a market other than the USA?
The recording quality seems low on my N8, even though it is set to HD. There are vague lines distorting the video. I have compared newly recorded videos with older ones and there is a clear difference. However I haven't recorded a video for a few weeks so I'm not entirely sure if it's a faulty camera or if the newly updated Belle software is causing this.
i have a problem with my nokia.. n97 mini should play flash video... my phone play video on website such as Internet, but in other its doesn't work, i can't see picture..., only icon ,,f". can i do something to repair this or i must send phone to service?
If I record a video on my N8, then replay it through my TV via HDMI, the video starts OK, then stutters after maybe 30 seconds and then a message pops up quickly (too quick for me to read) and then the video stops replaying and the phone goes back to the home screen.
i want to use it to make video calls and everyone I ring, it says' not supported. I would have thought I could use the latest nokia n8 to video call the latest appie iphone 4 - it is just crazy that you can't . I tried using fring as well, but that doesn't seem to work either - they say 'free' video calls, but I can't see that it is free, they try to charge you?
I tried to watch a video on msn page and when I clicked on it I got a message that my phone does not have a video format . How do I assign a format to this phone .
I bought my mini just 10 days back and today I thought of playing some videos. To my surprise whenever I try playing a video it says something like
"playing partial video .....
and only shows a black screen with sound. Not ony it happens with stored videos that it came with, even the new videos taken from its own camera behaves same way. No video only sound.
I've been trying to convert movies for my N8. So far, I couldn't get the right conversion factors such as the resolution, bitrate, frame rate, video codec, etc.The videos I convert work on my N8 but the size always exceeds 1GB, and the video isn't in full screen.Does anyone here knows the best video conversion setting for the N8?
