Nokia Nseries :: N8 Calendar Is Very Slow?
Nov 18, 2011I have just upgraded from a Nokia X6 to an N8. I use the calendar function a lot but have noticed that when using it it is very slow to do anything. If I create a new event it takes a few seconds after I press a key for things to happen. The X6 calendar didn't have any issues of this kind.Also, on the X6 if the calandar alarm went off and I didn't touch the phone it would keep going off every 10 minutes, the N8 calendar alarm goes off once and that's it!

Aug 11, 2012I had a personal backup folder with the size of 7gb in mass memory and I deleted it. Then everything became slow, very slow! The message app is taking a plenty of time to send a message, the screen saver takes almost 8 seconds to come up...so everything is pretty slow.I already restarted my phone several times, but it stays the same.

Mar 6, 2012I upgraded to Belle on Saturday and ever since then I'm suffering from long delays any time I send or receive a message or the phone connects to the internet.
When I send a message I have to wait 10-20 seconds before the phone becomes usable again, and it takes about 10 seconds to open a new message too.

Nov 16, 2012I am consistently disgusted on how dumb the focus on the 808 is. I have countless photos where everything on screen is blurred out even with focus light on and Human faces detected by the actual camera. Sometimes I have to touch focus 3 times to get a non retarded full screen photo. And consistently the shutter speed is too slow for clear photos. This is all on default automatic mode.

Nov 19, 2010I'm waiting for this since about 3 years on Symbian.I'm able to create a music playlist but what about video?I can create *.m3u playlist of let's say *.mp4 files which is recognized by i.e. real player. Then I can copy it to my Video folder. However when I run it on my n8 the music player starts and plays audio only. How can I do this to force full video playback by video not music player?I think there is no way to do this right now. But I hope someone from Nokia will read this and will push it further. I think it's not hard or expensive to implement it in the future software release and it will add another great "PC-like" feature.

I have compared newly recorded videos with older ones and there is a clear difference.
