I had a personal backup folder with the size of 7gb in mass memory and I deleted it. Then everything became slow, very slow! The message app is taking a plenty of time to send a message, the screen saver takes almost 8 seconds to come up...so everything is pretty slow.I already restarted my phone several times, but it stays the same.
View 2 RepliesI have just upgraded from a Nokia X6 to an N8. I use the calendar function a lot but have noticed that when using it it is very slow to do anything. If I create a new event it takes a few seconds after I press a key for things to happen. The X6 calendar didn't have any issues of this kind.Also, on the X6 if the calandar alarm went off and I didn't touch the phone it would keep going off every 10 minutes, the N8 calendar alarm goes off once and that's it!

View 3 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to Belle on Saturday and ever since then I'm suffering from long delays any time I send or receive a message or the phone connects to the internet.
When I send a message I have to wait 10-20 seconds before the phone becomes usable again, and it takes about 10 seconds to open a new message too.
I am consistently disgusted on how dumb the focus on the 808 is. I have countless photos where everything on screen is blurred out even with focus light on and Human faces detected by the actual camera. Sometimes I have to touch focus 3 times to get a non retarded full screen photo. And consistently the shutter speed is too slow for clear photos. This is all on default automatic mode.

Checking c: with x-plore filemanager I have found many files coming from a quickoffice install attempt that didn't finish because there wasn't enough space in c: when I tried to install.Now I cannot remove those files from x-plore (permission denied) and I cannot uninstall the quickoffice application because it never installed properly.Is there a way to remove those files? (apart from reinstalling from scratch the phone, which is what i pretend to avoid)

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am running version 091.004 form 2 June 2012. I have now problems with internet connections via WLAN or GPRS. Under "Network connections" I apparently have one access point categorized as Internet connection called "Netcom Mobil (3)".
I have 15 different ones in the "Not Categorized" section - some for MMS, some for WLAN and 3 copies of the above version 1, 2, 4 and no number respectively. Under Packet data is listed Netcom Mile (2) as access point Nokia Browser can access interne - claimin gto use Netcom Mobile(2)t.
Everything else does not work as far as I can see. I have tried to delete some of the duplicate points, but nothing happens. I have tried to change the categori - no chance. I have tried shutting it off and on. When you reply - beware my ignorrance about the difference between connection points and access points

.ics file to add some calendar entries into my N8 calendar. But somehow the same calendar file was added multiple times and now I have 5 duplicate calendar entries for each day.Is there a way to delete these calendar entries without deleting my old calendar entries? The .ics file was a fixture list of a club and has a lot of entries so deleting them one entry by entry is not an option.

I just installed Kaspersky mobile, and after a scan I've seen more than 18000 jpegs in E:system, a folder that I cannot access from phone or via Nokia Suite. Is there any way I can browse that folder and delete unwanted files? I think I got lots of useless files there after I installed Nokia Belle since lots of applications dissapeared.
