Nokia Lumia :: 710 UN-delete Photos And Videos?
Apr 24, 2012I have a Nokia Lumia 710 and when it was connected to my PC (via USB, using Zune) I deleted the already sync'd photos and videos that existed on my PC (in Documents&SettingsAdministrator..) and (unfortunately) the Zune software automatically erased these files from my phone!In order to use a PC undelete software for my phone, the phone needs to appear as a drive letter (ie. G:) on my PC when connected. How can this be accomplished? When I connect it, it doesn't appear as a drive letter (tried it in Windows XP and Vista). I already tried undeleting the files on my PC but the undelete software couldn't do this.

Aug 11, 2012I had a personal backup folder with the size of 7gb in mass memory and I deleted it. Then everything became slow, very slow! The message app is taking a plenty of time to send a message, the screen saver takes almost 8 seconds to come up...so everything is pretty slow.I already restarted my phone several times, but it stays the same.

Aug 6, 2012I've just came back to the Symbian fold after a long hiatus (my last Symbian device being Panasonic X800 with S60 2nd Edition). There's some learning curve, but so far I'm really enjoying my Nokia 808.
Previously, I've been using a Nokia 6700 (S40) as a communication device and iPod Touch as a photo/web viewer/PDA, but I would like to consolidate these functionality into one with 808.
This would mean I would want to be able to automatically sync photos from my PC to my Nokia in addition the the standard Nokia Suite ability to sync from the phone to PC. With iTunes, I would have specified a picture folder and the sync would go both direction with an ability to set folder exceptions if necessary. Would you know if there's a way to do something similar with Symbian devices?
One solution would be to skip Nokia Suite altogether and use something like Microsoft SyncToy in USB Mass Storage mode, but it's not exactly an elegant solution.

Checking c: with x-plore filemanager I have found many files coming from a quickoffice install attempt that didn't finish because there wasn't enough space in c: when I tried to install.Now I cannot remove those files from x-plore (permission denied) and I cannot uninstall the quickoffice application because it never installed properly.Is there a way to remove those files? Usually, such files are accessible by plugging it to a computer, with the phone either set to PC Suite or Mass Storage Mode.That was before. Now I can't. I've just noticed it just a week ago or so, and this problem still continues until now.I'm not sure what caused this, and I didn't have this problem before. I'm not sure either if this problem was caused by my recent update to Nokia Belle.Old photos and videos taken are completely accessible but the new ones I've recently captured are not accessible via PC Suite or Mass Storage Mode. It does not show in my PC or my laptop (both runs on Windows 7). The photos and videos are only accessible in the phone itself. The only way for me to transfer recently taken photos and videos is by sending it via Bluetooth to my laptop, which is very time consuming.

Nov 4, 2012I am running version 091.004 form 2 June 2012. I have now problems with internet connections via WLAN or GPRS. Under "Network connections" I apparently have one access point categorized as Internet connection called "Netcom Mobil (3)".
I have 15 different ones in the "Not Categorized" section - some for MMS, some for WLAN and 3 copies of the above version 1, 2, 4 and no number respectively. Under Packet data is listed Netcom Mile (2) as access point Nokia Browser can access interne - claimin gto use Netcom Mobile(2)t.
Everything else does not work as far as I can see. I have tried to delete some of the duplicate points, but nothing happens. I have tried to change the categori - no chance. I have tried shutting it off and on. When you reply - beware my ignorrance about the difference between connection points and access points

Dec 19, 2010.ics file to add some calendar entries into my N8 calendar. But somehow the same calendar file was added multiple times and now I have 5 duplicate calendar entries for each day.Is there a way to delete these calendar entries without deleting my old calendar entries? The .ics file was a fixture list of a club and has a lot of entries so deleting them one entry by entry is not an option.
