Just got a new N8. Took a video clip and downloaded it to PC. Need to rotate the clip now. It is in MP4 format.Downloading a 3rd party software will be my absolutely last option?

View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter PR1.1 the dialer rotates to landscape mode on the N8, but the call screen that comes up after this, is still in portrait mode.
Yet, on the C6, the call screen also rotates to landcape mode with PR1.1 (see screenshot of C6 call screen in landscape mode) Why does the C6 call screeen rotate landscape yet the N8 does not?
Once again I took several videos with my DROID X in the vertical position. Has anyone found a conversion utility that properly converts a .3gp video file to rotate the video horizontally (on a PC)? I've found several that CLAIM to, but the problem I continue to run into is that the Audio doesn't propery SYNC in the resulting output file (e.g., .avi).
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince my fones upgrade to Anna it is now reluctant to auto rotate to landscape view. The settings are correct and the auto-rotate is selected. It will auto-rotate if you give it a good hard shake to the left, and it will easily return to portrait with no problem. I received my upgrade to Anna via my PC and it seems to have fixed a couple of things that were really bugging me. I.e., the sat nav voice commands suddenly stopping for no reason and the safety camera warnings for two. But it seems to have come with it's own bugs.

Quicktime auto rotates but the colors aren't as nice. Lighter, kinda washed out. Any free video players that will auto rotate or allow you to rotate a mp4?

I just want to ask why I can not play .3gp video after I installed Anna? Actually It is working but with sounds only and no picture appear just a black screen with the sound of the clip. View 15 Replies View RelatedI'm waiting for this since about 3 years on Symbian.I'm able to create a music playlist but what about video?I can create *.m3u playlist of let's say *.mp4 files which is recognized by i.e. real player. Then I can copy it to my Video folder. However when I run it on my n8 the music player starts and plays audio only. How can I do this to force full video playback by video not music player?I think there is no way to do this right now. But I hope someone from Nokia will read this and will push it further. I think it's not hard or expensive to implement it in the future software release and it will add another great "PC-like" feature.

The recording quality seems low on my N8, even though it is set to HD. There are vague lines distorting the video. I have compared newly recorded videos with older ones and there is a clear difference. However I haven't recorded a video for a few weeks so I'm not entirely sure if it's a faulty camera or if the newly updated Belle software is causing this.

When launching camera I can record video without any problem but when switching to photo mode nothing appear, it enter the interface to take the photo but no image appear on the screen.
