Is there a app that lets this be done? Or a tweak perhaps?
I want to be able to play music from my music player or spotify or Play Music while I am recording a video.
Something like snapchat but no time limit, tried getting the stock camera to do this and no go.
When I go to the music player and select a song to play, I get a message that tells me to plug in my headphones. The issue is that my headphones are plugged in. I didn't have this issue a week ago. I was listening to my music just fine. I have rebooted the device several times already. The weird thing is that I can hear the boot up sounds through my headphones, as well as notifications. I just can't play music. I have the same issue with the FM radio.
View 15 Replies View RelatedJust got a new 6P from Google. I have it unlocked and TWRP installed, but no rooted just yet. Loading everything up on the phone, and I've come across an odd issue. I loaded my 1500 or so songs from my Samsung S5 to the 6P, and Google player only sees some of the songs. All the ones I bought from Amazon and some other random ones I'd ripped from our CD collection. Rocket Player sees them all, but won't play any but the ones Google Player plays. Tried some other music apps, but similar results.
I deleted all the songs, put them back in different folders, wiped the cache on Google Play and Rocket, booted the phone. I used ES File Explorer to go to individual albums and try to play the songs direct from there, but still does not work. I get "Couldn't play the track you selected".
Google search said to nuke all the music and go into Apps>Media and clear the storage, but that is not an option under Apps on this phone. Doesn't really seem like that kind of issue anyway, since it will play some of the songs.
I have my htc desire for 2 weeks and I still have 3 issue that really bother me.
1, The music player keep stop playing by itself after ~2 min.
2, The fm tuner won't able to turn on "again" unless I restart the device
3, The stream player will stop playing after screen shut off
My music player stops playing when my screen goes to sleep. Does any one know how to keep music player playing continuously without shutting off?

I can advance to the next song (still doesn't play) but I can't move back to the previous song. I've tried resetting to no avail.

I've been having issues with my bb, while bbming and listening to music via the media player, minutes and even sometimes seconds after putting a song on my BB freezes up and reboots itself. I searched the forums for the exact same issue and didn't come across a thread. If anyone has any ideas or possibly a link to the solution feel free to toss err in.

i have a problem with video playing. i put some video from my pc via nokia pc suite and convert it to my n97.
iit`s playing only few seconds and then the video stops but sound is still playing. i tried put the video without converting in mp4 formate but it`s the same. if i try to play some downloaded video from ovi or some carptured video it plays with no problems. i`ve already tried to reinstall my frimeware but it didn`t solve the problem...video : http://www.Internet.com/watch?v=ebhub4qetys
Just saw this very cool music video that was created using Four iPhones playing 4 videos and synced together. It's a cover of Lady Gaga 'Bad Romance' by the New York Trio Love and Logic. Very creative the way this was done. There is also a video posted on how it was filmed.

I just bought this device, love it so far. When I use a Google Voice command like, "play Madonna", it defaults to Sound Picker and doesn't play any songs. I noticed Music app is not even listed as a choice. See pic.

I had some avi files that were choppy in every video player and the only media player that played them smoothly using software compression was MX Player. Also I noticed that MX player would allow you to software decode video and audio seperatly, meaning you can use hardware decode for video and software decode for audio.
My iPhone 4S sometimes stops playing music by itself while I am playing music. This occurs while my phone is on standby/locked mode; that is I am not using any apps.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a BB 9650 with O/S 5..0.0.975.Main issue is that the voice and video of a video file are not in sync. The video plays slower than the voice. I believe that it is true for all video files. They were all loaded via BB Desktop Manager and all the files have the same extensions (MP4). They play fine on my computer.don't tell me to load O/S 6.0. That OS does has so many bugs that it is useless. I have loaded it twice over the course of 6 or 7 months and both times it simply fails to function properly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm unable to record any video on my z3+. My camera app launches fine, but when I try and record it becomes extremely slow and unresponsive. When it doesn't crash it records extremely choppy videos that are barely watchable. (please note, this is regular recordings, not 4k). I have the same problem in third party camera apps. I've tried all sorts, forcing the camera app to stop, clearing data, reseting etc. I've just done a factory reset and the problem remains.
Also, I'm unable to download the high res music from the promotion (posted that in another thread).
Together with the overheating issues I'm seriously regretting getting this phone, and recommend others dont. I'll probably be returning it this week. It's a shame because I really liked my Xperia z.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a galaxy s5 plus (sm-g901f on 5.0.2) and for the last number of weeks I have been unable to record video in 4K.
The option to select 4K exists in the stock camera app but when I record in 4K the file size is tiny and the quality is terrible.
A 4K video recorded in UHD only generates a file size of around 2MB for a 10 sec clip.
I compared this with a buddies phone and he is racking up around 8MB per second when recording in 4K on his S5.
Recording in UHD worked on my phone in the past as I still have 4K videos in my memory card so something changed went wrong. HD and Full HD record fine for me.
I reset the camera settings, wiped the cache partition, rebooted phone, removed battery and memory card, changed storage location to internal memory, and finally installed the Google Camera app but there is no 4K setting available in there.
this is the message I am getting when i try to record video. I don't have any other tasks running so the issue isn't as simple as that.

Recording is fine with the stock camera app, BUT none of the other market apps I've tried can record in HD. e.g. 'aLapRecorderHD', 'Daily Roads Voyager', etc. The market Apps seems to record OK @ 720x480 or anything below.All of the apps I've tried produce corrupt HD video with green artefacts all over the screen. They all work OK on my Nexus1 @ both 720p & 1080pCould anyone with a newer firmware?, try one of the above market apps and see if HD video can be recorded?

Today, I was trying to record a video but when I was reviewing it i notice that the sound was all muffled like if I was covering the microphone. So I took of my OtterBox Defender Case but that wasnt the problem at all. I tried blowing on both microphones that didnt work I tried cleaning it out with a cotton swab but no luck!
