For some odd reason, When syncing my outlook to the bb, it skips 122 records. ( My bb has all the records, but the outlook is missing records A through F.) Outlook now begins with G alphabetically)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have bought a Torch, but cannot get it to set up in the Organizer configuration to sync with my Calendar in MS Office XP- Outlook. My computer runs Windows XP. The contacts and memo will configure (although) they are posting to an archive folder and when I try to change that I get Error 0x80043bea), but the Calendar and Tasks will go through the set-up process, but when you finish it, the checkmark on those 2 Outlook folder disappears before you can even select the advance settings.I have re-set the configuration on the Desktop software a couple of times, to no avail, and uninstalled the Desktop 6.0 software and reinstalled it. None of these measures have changed the problem.Any suggestions?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am considering purchasing a BB Tour 9630. I use the Notes field of MS Outlook contacts extensively. Some of my notes per contact are over 10,000 characters in length. My Palm Treo 700p allows me to view/edit these long notes. Can the notes field of the BB contact manager handle this many characters or will it be truncated to a shorter length? I am a small operation not using an Exchange Server. Also, do I need any other device software than what comes with the BB to sync with my PC's local Outlook PST?

I know you can use the USB cable but on my old nokia all you had to do is have a bluetooth connection from the phone to the computer in order sync up witht the outlook. I'm syncing only my calendar and contacts from Outlook.
However, when I select to sync it searches for access points and only gives me the following options (I'm using the Vodafone network in New Zealand):
Search for WLAN
VFNZ Internet
VF NZ PXT
VFNZ Streaming
Vodafone Live!
None of these work, so I'm not sure how to get things working and syncing through my USB connection.
I'm gonna try and explain this as simply as possible (as it's for my dad, so I'll have to explain it to him the same way)! My dad likes using the native IPhone 3G calendar for keeping his appointments. However, he doesn't use the calendar in Outlook, so when he needs to enter something into the IPhone calendar, he has to do it right on the phone.
What he'd like to do is be able to enter the info into a PC-based calendar via the keyboard (he says it's much faster because of the amount of info he's entering), and then have it sync the info into the IPhone calendar. Again, He does not use outlook calendar. So what I'm basically asking is this is there a PC-based calendar program that he could use that would then allow ITunes to sync his PC-based calendar to his IPhone calendar?
I am new to Blackberry and this site which is rather overwhelming! I have what is probably a simple question but I can't figure it out. I have a Blackberry Bold 9780 with Software version 6.0.2.44. I sync with Outlook (Office Professional 2010). The Blackberry sync mode seems to delete calender entries on Outlook after about a month. I like to retain the entries but I cannot find an option on the sync set-up that stops this.

I want to retain my old appointments (they come in handy for my billing fees). If I select reject it does not sync updated details. How can I resolve this? Basically I do not want to delete any old appointments. I have selected the accept button and it wiped out all my old appointments.

The issue is with some Blackberry device when you add something to the Black Calendar it's not showing up into Outlook calendar.
I tried to removed every cical ligne into the services book and resend the service book from the blackberry server, had no luck

I have the BB Curve 8530. A long time ago this once worked and I had 126 contacts on my cell and in outlook. 2 crashed laptops later I have never been successful to get those 126 contacts back in Outlook. I have 2 email accounts set up on my Blackberry. I have tried deleting the service book, deleting and reinstalling the BB Desktop Software and it will only sync the contacts from my gmail account (26 entries) and not the one from my verizon (126 entries)
View 5 Replies View RelatedI own a BB Curve 8520. Before having setup the BIS, I could synchronize all my Outlook stuff with the device (contacts, tasks, calendar, ...) via USB as well as bluetooth.
Since I have set up BIS, I can still synchronize my contacts with Outlook, but even when I configure the Calendar to be synched as well, nothing happens. No errors are shown in the log. Seems that the calendar sync is just skipped.
