BB Curve :: Device Not Syncing With Outlook Properly?
Jun 1, 2012
My phone has suddenly stopped synching properly with outlook - I get an error message saying "record with specific id (6D54C76F) not found" then it finishes and nothing has transferred either way from device - comp or comp - device.
We have just upgraded a number of staff to Curve 9300 and using BES Express to sync with their Outlook accounts. We only have one problem!. Calender entries made in Outlook are synced, however entries made on the Backberry do not sync back to Outlook.
Recently when I synced my BlackBerry with Outlook I found that my All Day Events listed in outlook appeared from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm on my BlackBerry calendar rather at the top like a regular All Day Event. Also my time zone keeps changing from Mountain (-7) to Eniwetok (-12) every time I sync. Does anyone know why this is happening and why my time zone changes every time I sync with Outlook? Also if I try to change the event on my BB to all day event and then sync it with Outlook the event on Outlook goes from All Day Event to 12:00 am to 11:59 pm.
For some odd reason, When syncing my outlook to the bb, it skips 122 records. ( My bb has all the records, but the outlook is missing records A through F.) Outlook now begins with G alphabetically)
I am considering purchasing a BB Tour 9630. I use the Notes field of MS Outlook contacts extensively. Some of my notes per contact are over 10,000 characters in length. My Palm Treo 700p allows me to view/edit these long notes. Can the notes field of the BB contact manager handle this many characters or will it be truncated to a shorter length? I am a small operation not using an Exchange Server. Also, do I need any other device software than what comes with the BB to sync with my PC's local Outlook PST?
We did 2 upgrades and now some black calendar are not synching naymore with outlook.
Here's our setting We had Blackberry Enterprise server professionnal 4.0.17 or something like that we upgraded to Blackberry server Express 5.0.3 MR 1 (Bundle 19) for Exchange server
we had Microsoft Exchange 2003 and we upgraded to 2010 Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Version 14.1.218.15 with service pack installed Update Rollup 5 SP1 and Update Rollup 4-V2 SP1
The issue is with some Blackberry device when you add something to the Black Calendar it's not showing up into Outlook calendar.
I tried to removed every cical ligne into the services book and resend the service book from the blackberry server, had no luck
I tried these steps :On the BlackBerry smartphone, open the Calendar application.Click the Menu button and click Options.Set the Wireless Synchronization option to No.Click the Menu button and click Save.Set the Wireless Synchronization option to Yes.Click the Menu button and click Save. Turning wireless calendar synchronization on and off will reset the calendar database on the BlackBerry smartphone.Create a calendar entry in Microsoft Outlook and verify that the entry wirelessly synchronizes to the BlackBerry smartphone.no luck too.
I have the BB Curve 8530. A long time ago this once worked and I had 126 contacts on my cell and in outlook. 2 crashed laptops later I have never been successful to get those 126 contacts back in Outlook. I have 2 email accounts set up on my Blackberry. I have tried deleting the service book, deleting and reinstalling the BB Desktop Software and it will only sync the contacts from my gmail account (26 entries) and not the one from my verizon (126 entries)
I own a BB Curve 8520. Before having setup the BIS, I could synchronize all my Outlook stuff with the device (contacts, tasks, calendar, ...) via USB as well as bluetooth.
Since I have set up BIS, I can still synchronize my contacts with Outlook, but even when I configure the Calendar to be synched as well, nothing happens. No errors are shown in the log. Seems that the calendar sync is just skipped.
I recently downloaded Microsoft Outlook 2010 and updgraded my desktop software to version 6.0, but now my BlackBerry won't synch. When I try to configure my settings, I get an error message that the operation was aborted. How can I synchronize my BlackBerry to Outlook 2010?
With my new BB Curve 9300 (running OS 6) I am finding that my calendar syncing through the BES is only occurring one way. The appointments I create on the BB do not sync back the my calendar.
I have setup a blackberry 8520 using our Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES). The blackberry setup completes without error as does the enterprise activation on the device. Everything works ok on the Blackberry except for the calendar which does not sync across any changes to the outlook desktop. If a change(e.g. new entry) is made on the users outlook desktop it does get synched across to the Blackberry.
If the calendar entry is then deleted on the blackberry it gets synched across to the desktop. The problem is only in one direction e.g. from the Blackberry to the desktop. So far I have removed the user from the BES and restarted the BES. Added the user back in to the BES. Wiped the handheld and run the enterprise activation but the problem still exists. This seems to be an isolated problem as we have approximately 20 Blackberry users using BES and all don't have any issues.
BB Desktop Manager says Outlook 2010 is not installed, although it is installed. Everything else (contacts, notes, tasks) is syncing, but not the calendar. Sync always worked until a month ago. Tried to fix problem by repairing Office 2010, reinstalling BB Desktop Manager. Still does not work. Why can't I sync my Outlook Calendar with my BB?
I've been trying for the last 4 hours to sync up my contacts from outlook to contacts on blackberry. 1st I got an error "0x80040fb3"...read several posts on crackberry.com & fixed this, I think. Now desktop manager acts like it is syncing & shows complete but error pops up showing unable to complete sync. doesn't say why or whatever. ugh, i'm so frustrating. probably be easier to type each contact into blackberry!! also i tried to delete contacts from blackberry using the desktop manager & it tells me the device isn't connected, but of course it is.
It worked great for a few weeks then when something updated automatically and no more sync .I get a "operation terminated unexpectedly" pop-up. I've read through the forums and tried putting an end time on my recurring dates, and followed the instructions on the iloptcfg.cfg file and still no go.Address, memo and tasks works fine, but the calendar won't. I even uninstalled the BB Desktop manager (v5.0) and reinstalled v4.7 and no go.

The phone doesnt stay on. Unless the charger is in the phone, it says, "battery drain, now shutting down". I've bought a new battery and that doesnt change it. Sometimes I play around with the phone and the battery is not low battery and works until I take the battery out of the phone. Then it just goes to low battery again. I dont know what needs to be changed or what needs to be done.
My outlook email account is on my device. In other words, emails to my outlook emails address goes to both my outlook and my device.
Is it possible, if I respond to an outlook email on my blackberry for that sent response from my blackberry to be in my sent folder in my outlook. In other words, can I synchronize my device with outlook so that any responses sent on my device regarding outlook emails get reflected in my outlook. I believe you need to have BES - but I don't have that. My device is a personal one - not a corporate one without any connection to a corporate server. Is it possible without BES to do the synchronization?
Settings: BB 8900 (replacement just delivered...and the problem below started) Device OS 5.0.0.411 Device Manager 5.0.1.37 Default Services: <my primary email> (I also have a second BIS email attached, but the CICAL for that one has been deleted.)
After struggling for days to get rid of the Device Default calendar (in addition to the calendar associated with my primary email and which is set as default under Default Services), I finally got my whole BB calendar on to the one calendar it should be on: the one associated with my primary email. And lo and behold, the Device Default disappeared. hallelujah, I thought.
Having cleared out the calendar using Device Manager, I then opted for a one way sync from Outlook to my new BB with its one and only calendar now, the calendar associated with my primary email and listed as the default under Default Services.....
When these are synced up via Itunes, the folders exist, but say the family one will contain 25 family ones & 10 of vacation. There is no rhyme or reason why they arent ending up in the correct/same folders. Its almost like theyre not being indexed properly when the iphone photo cache is being created. This has happened on 2 separate PC's, when syncing up my Iphone 4
I am attempting to sync iPhone with Outlook on a PC. It is hit-or-miss. Sometimes it seems to work, other times data is completely missing! Some data syncs while other data is erased.
i have a gmail account and have synced my calendar, contacts and email. i have GOOGLE SYNC, which does it all for me (or so its supposed to).if i create a new appointment on my gmail calendar, it syncs perfectly to my bklackberry. However if i create an appointment on my bb it doesnt sync on the gmail.
You've probably all been asked this loads and I've read some forums posts and tried software but ive not been able to find a solution or answer.Basically Ive just got myself a Storm2 and was told by my provider that I could sync my emails from outlook to my device and back like a windows mobile device. As ive found out this isnt the case, I really like the phone and dont want to hand it back over to swap for another device but if I dont find a solution then I wont have a choice. My question is, is there any software available that will sync my device to my computer the same as a WM device does through activesync?I have tried Astrasync and Notifysync both which throw errors up and dont work
I got my unlocked dual-sim 950 last week. All is good except for the new Outlook Mail app. It does fine with plain text emails, but cannot render HTML (web style) emails correctly at all. The formatting looks horrible and many items and images are just missing.
I read on another forum that this was due to the new Outlook app using MS Word as its rendering engine, rather than Internet Explorer, as was the case with Windows Phone 8.1 on my old Lumia 920. If the e-mail happens to contains a "view in browser" link, then it will open correctly in the Edge browser.
But many HTML emails don't have such a link. A decent email client should be able to render most correctly-coded HTML emails perfectly. Funny thing is that Outlook is supposed to be a Universal Windows App and it works fine on my Windows 10 desktop, but not on my phone.
I have had my Xperia mini now since sept but i have noticed recently that when one of my friends/contacts changes their profile picture on facebook it does not change on my phone! i have tried syncronising it but it still not changed.
If you enter a calendar event in the Thunderbolt and identify its duration as "All Day" and also indicate that it reoccurs every year on the same day, when you sync with Outlook the event will span two days in Outlook - the date selected AND the prior day.
In my situation my "Date & Time" Time Zone setting is set for "GMT -04:00, Eastern Daylight Time." But when I view the event in Outlook after a sync, Recurrence shows the following information as an example: Occurs every February 21 effective 2/21/2011 (GMT) Monrovia, Reykjavik.
I think this indicates that something is causing the data to be entered into Outlook under a different time zone and showing it as an "overlap" in my time zone.
If I enter an event as "All Day" but don't have it recur, the sync works just fine.
When I was running Vista I sucessfully synced my N97 to Office Outlook.
I have now installed XP, and when I try to sync it to Office Outlook it does not update, and says 0 items updated even though I have changed calendar entries.
