People can call me and it also vibrates and stuff when i receive messages but the only thing i can do is use the voice activation button on the side nothing else works and the screen stays blank. I've been trying to turn it off and on using the power button and even tried removing the battery but nothing seems to be working. Anyone have any ideas on if and how this problem can be fixed?
View 4 RepliesMy Curve has developed a camera issue.It worked fine within the last 2-3 months (but I havent used it for a while) and has been working up to that point with no issues.When I go to take a picture, I can see the image, but it has a red, "negative" type tint to it.Also, it appears that the "low light" function of brightening the image up does not engage or work.When I take the picture, the flash will flash, but the image displayed on the screen at that time displays a solid white (blank) screen. I can not take another picture from there. it seems like the app might be locked up.The only thing I can do at that point is to press the red cancel button which brings me back to my home screen.The picture is not saved. I can then take another picture, but the same thing happens.The video camera works, but has the same "red tinted", negative type of image on it.It will record, and playback but the image appears as it is ciewed in the viewfinder. With the red tint/negative type of image. Sound is fine. I can also view previously recorded picture and videos with prefect clarity.The pone works properly in all other aspects and the only issue I have ever had with it has been a battery. I replaced thre battery two weeks ago because it would go dead quickly. The new battery works well.I have done a full battery pull. No change to the camera issue.Any thoughts?

So just got my 6p yesterday but it seems as though ambient display although turned on is not working ND when I answer a phone call my screen stays black during the call and won't wake up.
So apparently it's because the tempered glass screen protector is covering the proximity sensor. I still have to actually test that theory out once I get a new protector but from doing some digging that most def it. Just a heads up I used the one by super shieldz so don't buy that one until they make a cut out for the sensor.
I understand lots of people have had the same problem, but I just cannot find a solution which works for my Blackberry 8520!It has a white screen showing nothing, it boots once you put the battery in, and the only way to power it off is to take out the battery, I think it also keeps rebooting.I have replaced the screen - still white screen.I have re-installed the OS - still white screen

When everything was transfered from our old bb i lost all of the games that were on mine but all of his transfered. Is there a way for me to copy the games using either the desktop manager or Bluetooth? Or is there another way as I am having alot of difficulties downloading new games to transfer from the desktop manager to my phone?

View 7 Replies View RelatedWoke up this morning and hit the home button on my iPhone, only to have the screen flicker white and then turn off. I tried pressing the home and sleep buttons, with no luck. In the fist five minutes, the screen flickered white 3 times but then proceeded to a dark screen and has not turned on since.
I have attempted soft and hard resets like some other users, but the screen is still blank. I even put the phone into recovery mode and attempted to get it running with iTunes. I re-installed 3.1.2, but no luck. The sleep button is pretty iffy, and requires you to hold it down in certain positions to get it to work, so it has been hit or miss to get the phone into recovery mode.
Two weeks ago, I reformatted the phone, updated to 3.1.2, jailbroke and unlocked the phone with blackra1n, with no problems in functionality.I also tried re-installing from a backup. I get vibration notifications in conjunctions with emails (since I see them on my laptop at the same time as the vibration), so I know there is some functionality, I just can't see anything. There is no passcode on the phone either.
My guess is the LCD went out since resets and recoveries have not been able to bring anything back on the screen. I'm about to order a new screen, I just wanted to confirm that I'm taking the proper next step.
By going blank I mean the screen goes dark, I don't see anything as if my phone is dead. The call gets placed anyway, but I just feel lost not seeing anything on the screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedHaving a weird issue with my screen. Occasionally, (about 5 times in the last 2 weeks) when I grab my phone, the screen does not come on. I can see the multifunction buttons light up, I can swipe the screen and hear the sound for the unlock, and if I tap on the screen it does not light up and screen stays black.
If I hold power, it does not reboot. if I push home it does nothing, but I can hear that the phone is on, if a call comes through I can hear it ring, and can answer from my home button, but the screen stays black.
I can do a battery pull and phone starts fine. It is as if the backlight is not coming on at all at times, or possibly like a proximity sensor is not allowing the phone to recognize that the screen should be off.
Cannot tell if it is a hardware issue or software issue. I have not changed any software since I got it a few weeks back, some software has updated, but this is happening comepletely at random and always when the phone has been locked.
Phone has never been dropped and is in a case and has no screen protector, there is not a mark on the phone at all.
Should I arrange to swap the phone? should I contact my carrier?
Sometimes when I am making a call or accepting an inbound call, I will try to hit the speakerphone button (because I have a lot of trouble hearing the speakers in regular mode), only to have the screen go blank before I can do so. Sometimes it will come back after a moment and let me use the touchscreen, other times it will stay off for a while.

The BoxWave holster I just bought has a magnet - I can insert the phone either face-in or face-out. When its blank I cant do anything with it even after several battery pulls. Sometimes when i pull the battery it loads up and then goes back blank.
In order for it to come up I have to connect the charger and the screen stays on. (lol.i thought this was suppose to be a mobile phone) It cant stay up with out the charger being connected.I have no warranty on the phone.
