Apr 12, 2012I woke up in the morning and I find my lovely black berry screen blank, I tried to remove the battery but no changes it just turn off the light.

BB Curve :: Address Book Is Blank, But Contacts Still Show
Nov 9, 2011So about 24 hours ago my Contacts went blank. (i.e. No contacts listed) I have pulled the battery for reset (a couple times)I have checked and unchecked all the filtersThe contact information does not show for SMSThe contact information DOES show in the call log (and I can view their complete Contacts information from there)Email client linked is Lotus NotesNot all Contacts were in the LN address book, but even those that are no longer show on the BB (And I've been able to view contact information from the call log for people not in my LN address book.)

May 7, 2010I understand lots of people have had the same problem, but I just cannot find a solution which works for my Blackberry 8520!It has a white screen showing nothing, it boots once you put the battery in, and the only way to power it off is to take out the battery, I think it also keeps rebooting.I have replaced the screen - still white screen.I have re-installed the OS - still white screen

The device would not turn on after that., When i try to turn it on, nothing happens When plugged into the power source, the "msg light" flashes red and occasionally the screen has the charging symbol in the middle of the screen, but the battery bar never fills up.I left it for 2 hours on the charger, yet still the problem persists.

The screen was all white and had a black dot in the top left of my screen and had looked like my screen had just cracked. I can still recieve phone calls but I just cant see the screen. Oct 19, 2012I received an email from Blackberry saying a new SIM card had been installed. It had not since March. We followed the link and tried to follow the instructions. We did a hard reboot by taking the battery out, waiting a minute, and then putting it back in. About half way through, the screen went blank white, and we have not been able to get it to do anything else.

Mar 1, 2011I purchased my blackberry 8900 in December 2010 in a small island. I went back to jamaica two weeks after it went completely blank (Screen whites out). When its blank I cant do anything with it even after several battery pulls. Sometimes when i pull the battery it loads up and then goes back blank.
In order for it to come up I have to connect the charger and the screen stays on. (lol.i thought this was suppose to be a mobile phone) It cant stay up with out the charger being connected.I have no warranty on the phone.

Aug 1, 2010People can call me and it also vibrates and stuff when i receive messages but the only thing i can do is use the voice activation button on the side nothing else works and the screen stays blank. I've been trying to turn it off and on using the power button and even tried removing the battery but nothing seems to be working. Anyone have any ideas on if and how this problem can be fixed?

The screen wont turn on and it just black, but when i turn it on the red lights comes on and the keypad light, so the phone is clearly on. Feb 27, 2010My Curve has developed a camera issue.It worked fine within the last 2-3 months (but I havent used it for a while) and has been working up to that point with no issues.When I go to take a picture, I can see the image, but it has a red, "negative" type tint to it.Also, it appears that the "low light" function of brightening the image up does not engage or work.When I take the picture, the flash will flash, but the image displayed on the screen at that time displays a solid white (blank) screen. I can not take another picture from there. it seems like the app might be locked up.The only thing I can do at that point is to press the red cancel button which brings me back to my home screen.The picture is not saved. I can then take another picture, but the same thing happens.The video camera works, but has the same "red tinted", negative type of image on it.It will record, and playback but the image appears as it is ciewed in the viewfinder. With the red tint/negative type of image. Sound is fine. I can also view previously recorded picture and videos with prefect clarity.The pone works properly in all other aspects and the only issue I have ever had with it has been a battery. I replaced thre battery two weeks ago because it would go dead quickly. The new battery works well.I have done a full battery pull. No change to the camera issue.Any thoughts?

Sep 8, 2011Today, as I got up, I noticed that my blackberry cure 8320 had a white screen. This has never happened before, so I just removed the battery, and put it back in. Something I noticed was that when I inserted the battery, a steady red light appeared for about six seconds, and the screen was completely blank. Thinking that this would go away, I stepped outside, and I got a call. The screen was still black.
I was able to answer the call perfectly fine, but I couldn't interact with it in any other way other than the voice command button. The blackberry I have is unlocked. I ordered it online from BestBuy. It's a T-Mobile blackberry running on AT&T. I've also tried to connect it to my laptop, and it works fine. I've re-installed my OS (4.5), restored it, deleted everything on it, and still no luck.

Jul 1, 2012I have a Blackberry 8520, and every time I go and use the internet browser, it takes like 10 hours to load, and once it has loaded, the page is still blank! It's not a case of internet connection, because my apps work. So I don't know what to do, I've tried resetting, and it sometimes does the trick, but after a little it starts to not work anymore.

Windows 7 on PC, Android 6 on Nexus 5. I am not rooted.
One solution mentioned in the other similar post said to go to:
Settings|Storage and USB|3dots| Menu in the Upper R Corner| USB Computer Connection is MTP
When I click on the 3 dots all I see is the option for "help and feedback". Not useful.
Accessing the device manager on the PC shows the Nexus 5 under portable devices. Clicking to update drivers shows the drivers are up to date.
Looking at "Devices and Printers" shows 2 Nexus 5 icons. One is described as a portable media player. Clicking on it brings up the blank page. The other icon under properties lists the device as a phone. Double clicking on the icon brings up Bluetooth operations which shows PC<->BT<->Nexus 5. I currently have Bluetooth turned off on the Nexus 5.
