I am trying to set up a new e-mail account on my blackberry.My Blackberry ID username is in the form of a e-mail address but when I use the 'Internet Mail Option' to set up the new e-mail account and enter the username i get a message saying that the username cannot be in the format of an e-mail account.

I've tried every combination i can think of with no joy. Spoke to my provider (O2) and they say this is a Blackberry UN & PW. tried my blackberry id and every other combination but still can't get in. Where did this username and password come from? Are they something sent to me by blackberry, or are they my own creation?

I have deleted the account and added it back again numerous times. This is what the support person I talked to told me to do. Sometimes I can get into my email and then all of a sudden I can't.

I am having trouble sending mail with 2 accounts. Both are get before send and there is no log in needed.Every time I blank the username feild the application repopulates it with my email address. I'm guessing that is the reason that I can get mail but not send it with these 2 accounts.

All of a sudden the phone couldn't automatically log into my yahoo email. I've changed the password and everything. Now I deleted the account from the phone and tried adding it again. It says "authentication failed, verify username and password". I'm 100% certain both are correct.

The spacing is very large so that I am able to only see a few random bits/pieces of the message. It doesn't appear to be a problem with e-mails that are sent from my BB. My cell phone service is through AT&T. I am aware of no changes that would have caused this problem.

My internet provider changed protocol for username for email account. Changed on computers successfully, not able to do it on BlackberryBold 9900. I went to email accounts, highlighted the account, pressed menu button to change username. But there is no edit option in the menu. there is validate, delete, etc. no edit. have no idea what to do. Unless the username is changed i cant receive emails.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is really bothering me.I have a yahoo mail account set up on my phone - It has been on there for over a year - it has always worked this way - If I get an email (the phone goes "bing") and i read it on the computer - and responded and delete it on the computer it would be removed from the phone the next time i looked. Recently I began noticing that the message is not being delated from the phone if I delete it from the mailbox, and I can't figure out why.
Basically I want to be able to read the message on the computer and hit delete and for it do the same thing on my blackberry and vise versa. Now it seems to work if I delete the message on the BB then it will not be in the Mailbox on the computer.

2. how to play Internet on it, when i click on any Internet video, it asked, do you want to switch to wap to stream the video, when i say yes, it gives error message, if i am on wi-fi connection, even then it does not play any video, simply gives error message.

I was helped last night to move the converted files to my BB, when I go to test them as ringtones a message comes up "the ring tone is invalid". That occurred with both formats.
