I have a BB Bold 9900. I have had it less than 3 months. Right from the start I couldn't get more than 24 hours from a single charge, even if I refrained from known "drainers" such as WiFi, Internet Browsing and Games. Now I can barely get 12 hours out of a single charge.It doesn't seem to matter if I use my phone a lot or not at all the battery runs down just as fast.

I will leave for work in the morning with 100% charge and by 2:00 the phone is out of charge and turns off. I don't use it, apps are closed and wi fi is off. Why is in not holding charge? Tried to check software but when I plug it into laptop it just says device unplugged, the only time I got it to recognise it it was unable to find device driver software. View 5 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my phone software to 6.0 Bundle 2949 last weekend and since then I am having to recharge my phone 4 to 5 times a day. As soon as I open facebook, camera ect the battery completely dies and turns it's self off.This morning for example it was fully charged - had charged over night. Left for work at 7:30am, took one phone call - 5 mins, sent 2 texts. By 10:30am my phone had switched it's off. It's driving me mad and I can't be without my phone as I am pregnant and need it to get in touch with partner etc.Now I onlu upgraded the software because the battery wasn't holding it's charge but it was 100% better than it is now.
I have read through threads and have removed the battery repeatedly and even left it out.Removed the SD card and sim card and nothing. In fact in last an hour after charging it for the second time today and I never even used it!I am not technical but I desperately need help!!Is it worth trying to downgrade the software? - if so is there a dummies guide to this? Do I return it to o2 for them to see if there is other problems with it?I have shut down all apps other than the ones that remain there at all times. I check this regularly especially if the battery loses charge quickly. I am finding that it is fully charges within 20 mins from the battery being completely drained (turning it's self off) to being fully charges.I still have 9 months left on my contract before I can upgrade but I can't cope with it like it is now. I love blackberry but after the problems with this one am tempted to switch!| have also noticed that the desktop software has upgraded too!
My BB Torch 9800 on my AT&T network is constantly not holding any battery charge, it's constantly dying on me even though I constantly have in plugged into a car charger or a wall charger at all times, it also started to reboot itself and then once its complete it reboots itself again and again and again. I've tried leaving the battery out for 15min and then trying to reboot it again, that does nothing. I've gone into the Options section under Device and disables the Compression, that did nothing, I've check the CPU Usage for the day and the week nothing is really eating the power up. I have also held down the menu button and switched off all my apps in there and still no better.

I bought an iPhone 4s in November 2013. The phone is through Sprint. (didn't know if that made a difference or not.) In the past 7 months the phones apps have been opening & shutting right down, the app might stay on for 2 minutes if you're lucky. It started out with my Facebook app shutting down, then it progressed to other apps & the repeated random shutdowns have been getting worse. The phone itself overheats without even being plugged into the charger. The Safari is now beginning to close randomly. I called my carrier & they said that they could run a diagnostics test on my phone to see what's making it do what it's doing. Since the phone has been shutting down & randomly shutting apps off for over 7 months, they've ruled out the option of it being a bad software through Apple.

We send a droid razr for repair on 8/22 and it was received on 8/24. Received an email at 11:03 on 8/27 that the problem with the phone is not covered under the warrantee and to contact Motorola as soon as possible to authorize and pay for the repair. I agreed to pay $125 plus tax to repair the screen as long as the overheating and battery not holding a charge was looked into. Today I called to see what was going on and was advised that she (rep) has no idea and would send an email and get back to me within 24-24 hours. I advised that was not acceptable and I was sent to the Repair Escalation Department, Curtis advised me the exact same thing and when i explained that my phone has been with Motorola since 8/24 and they have had my payment since 8/27 and that originally I was advised that the repair would be done and the phone back to me within 5 business days and we were now at 8 and I needed to speak to a supervision he stated that he was the supervisor and there was no one above him to talk to. Someone please explain how I am getting the same exact information (none with a 24 to 48 hour wait time) from customer service and the Repair Escalation Department?
View 5 Replies View Relatedis it considered "outdated"? i've had my Curve 8310 for the past two years and it hasn't given me a problem. but EDGE/No WiFi makes things just kind of frustrating when trying to refresh a Twitter app or waiting for your friend list in Facebook. i've always loved the Bold 9000's design, look and feel. i would go to a newer Blackberry but the trackpad isn't something i fancy. anyways, how's the Bold 9000? is it holding up to the newer devices? or is it getting dated like my Curve 8310? any advice would be great.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI just went from the 8310 to the 9700 and right off noticed that I can no longer hold the talk button and pull up the address book while in the recent call list. From the home screen you can hold the talk button for a couple of seconds and it pulls up the address book but if you just tap the talk button it opens the recent call list. If you hold the talk button from there it tries calling the last number. Anyone know if I can change this to be like the 83xx?
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9000 and it is draining the battery very quickly doesnt even last a few hours with a couple of calls and when its flat will only charge if I take out the battery and put in on a universal charger it wont charge with the blackberry mains charger, car charger or usb connection.I have bought two new batteries and all the same thing, turned off all applications I can see.The phone was bought new from an ebay seller in December and I cant get any response now from them and they are no longer on ebay.I have seen something about updating the system.

Don't get me wrong, the Icon does take the best videos I've seen on a phone and the sound is perfect. But my pictures always seem to end up blurry rather even when I am holding still. I use the Nokia Procam app and tried the stock app but even changing the settings and modes doesn't work....
