BB Bold :: It Has No Audio, No Voice Transmission?
Jul 30, 2012Phone can call and accept calls, but when connected, no sound, no voice going either way. Voice mail allso connects, but no sound.

IPhone :: 3GS Bluetooth Audio Transmission Does Not Work
Jul 3, 2012My iPhone 3GS used to work well with a Motorola H700 headset and the bluetooh in my Lexus. All of a sudden, I could connect with the H700 or the Lexus and place a call but there was no audio received or sent even though the screen in the Lexus said it was being sent/received. I have checked all settings; I have removed and re-setup the iPhone on both devices and to no avail. Is there something I am missing? I know the bluetooth system in the Lexus works because i can connect my Morotola SLVR to it and get audio both ways.

Jun 20, 2010I have audio through the headset or speakerphone with no issue but none through the handset. Did a battery pull but that did not resolve the issue. I also just upgraded to Rogers OS 5.0.0.743 not sure if this is what caused the problem.

Motorola Photon 4G :: Audio Does Not Mute For Bluetooth Voice Commands
Sep 2, 2011I have an issue with the Photon when it is in the car dock and I am listening to streaming audio such as Slacker or Pandora. If I use my Bluetooth headset and press the button on the headset for the voice commands, the Photon sends a very garbled voice control prompt to the headset. The prompt that says "Please wait. Please say a command" comes across extremely garbled. This does not occur if I am not streaming audio, nor does it occur over the regular phone speaker.

If I dial by selecting the contact manually, using the same Bluetooth headset, the call connects normally and audio is fine.The headset is a Jabra 250 and I don't have easy access to another Bluetooth device at the moment. Can't tell if this is a sw or hw issue on the Razr or the headset (which is an older model but still works just fine with original Droid Razr).

From the same location (the classrooom she teaches in) I can receive a text message from my son BUT NOT my wife. The reception in her classroom is spotty at best. Only when she moves to a location with better reception is her phone able to actually transmit the text messages (sometimes I receive messages from her hours later when she leaves school).
why one S6 has no issue while the other does? We are all using the stock messaging app.

Sometimes the audio will work fine (notice this more when I'm on WiFi) but sometimes, in all apps (snapchat, facebook, regular gallery view) the video will play but the audio will cut in and out.
Not sure what it is. Phone is rooted (systemless) and is running the EX Kernel. I didn't mess with the audio settings in the EX Manager...
This is a huge issue for me as I spend a lot of time on Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube (I'm a vlogger, etc.).
Motorola Droid Razr :: Audio Pop Or Click Before And After Audio Plays?
Feb 28, 2012I've had two Razr's behave the same, whenever audio plays, especially using the headphone jack and external speakers, one can hear an audiable click or pop just before and after the audio plays. This happens with Pandora, Rhapsody, and Google Navigator. I haven't tested other audio based apps yet.Verizon and Motorola say they've not heard of this issue, so I'm wondering how many other Razr owners have noticed this pop? Hearing such noises as the audio turns on and off is not acceptable quality for a Motorola branded phone.I don't know enough about how the Android OS works, but I'm thinking there are two possible causes. First, as different apps access the audio hardware the internal electronics of the phone produce an audible pop as the circuits power up and down. Alternatively, the Android OS may be probing the headpone jack trying to determine if it's connected to external speakers. I've noticed that the pop gets louder as the phone approaches 100% charge.
With a 90% charge or better I've even had the audio output go quiet if the headset cable is moved, even though the audio application shows audio is playing. I know that removing the headset cable will pause the player, but in this case hitting play starts the player and it shows progress, but no audio is heard.

Nov 9, 2011I've been using my Moto Droid, running Android 2.2.2 for some time now. Up until recently, I've been able to use it to listen to Pandora and mp3s loaded onto the phone. Now, any time I plug a set of headphones into the audio jack, the audio is really distorted. It sounds like a channel is out or something, and this happens across all volume levels. It pretty much sounds like you're listening to music underwater. Doesn't matter if it's streaming adio through Pandora or mp3 audio. When I unplug the headset (any headset, mind you) and go to external speaker, the audio is fine.

No, there are no headphones connected to the device. Discovered if I do, then at least I can hear what people are saying because it stops flipping back and forth between headphone and speaker function. Remove the headphones and away it goes again. Keeps doing it for about a minute after the call ends with an audible click each time it switches to speaker mode for a fraction of a second.
