View 3 RepliesHere is a screen shot what what is happening. I plug it in when I got to bed. I've tried different chargers, different cords, different outlets, and a factory reset (which sucks by the way). It doesn't happen every night, but I'd say more than 50% of the time.

View 1 Replies View RelatedBought my bold 2 a year back. Just bought a new battery for my Bold 2 (9700) with a 6 months warranty as previous battery used to drain out quickly. Tried charging but there is a battery sign with a red cross over it even after charging it for 3 hours. When I use my old battery, it is functioning well as before. What is the problem?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have had my Bold for about 18 months. I bought it new from ATT. The only trouble I have had started about a week ago. My battery will not charge fully. It started off by doing this last weekend, never charging to over 60 percent. Most of the time it hovered around 20-30% (different after every battery pull). After several battery pulls, both plugged in and unplugged, I thought it was fixed. It charged fully and worked correctly for about 5 days.
Then this weekend it does the same thing, except it never got above 20%. A lot of the time it was in the red, sometimes enough that the radio would shut off. It was charging some because working with it plugged in last night, it never completely shut down.I wiped the phone last night and installed Willyboy 9000 v4.2 .610/.662/.664/.669 hoping that it was possibly some software problem. I like the OS, but it didn't help my problem. I had 5.0.0.592 when the problem started.
I went and got a new RIM oem battery from the ATT store today. This new battery won't charge past 50%. I have once again tried numerous battery pulls today with no improvement in the charging of the battery. As before, the little lightning symbol does come on indicating that it is charging. After the wipe and reinstall, I have not installed any third party apps. The battery, neither old nor new, does not get hot.
Yesterday I got my first Blackberry. The Battery is still half full, but I need a USB modem tethering connection nearly every day for the next few weeks. That means I don't really have chance to run my battery dead in order to treat it right and get the best condition out of it. Is there any chance to disable the charging function in the desktop manager software, or enabling the tethering fuction over Bluetooth? Or is there no need to worry about the battery, when you charge it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry Bold shows the small letters CM over the battery icon when the charger is connected but it will not charge. I've tried removing the battery putting it back in, I've tried 3 chargers, but the battery just continued to drain until it finally went into red. I've been "googling" all day and cannot find any reference to what I'm seeing.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9000 & one month ago I have plugged it in to a car charger (not BB original one). In that moment the phone turned off instantly and when trying to turn it back on the LCD remained completely white. I could not make or receive calls, e-mail, etc., the phone was dead whit the LCD white.
when I got home I plugged in the AC charger & the phone started ok. Now if I charge it fully I can use it for one day, or half day if it is very intense used. If the battery goes bellow 75-80% & I access basic functions (e-mail, sms, browsing) in 1-2 mins the LCD goes white & the phone is dead. Basically I need to keep the battery level higher than 80% in order to make sure I can use my phone.
Ive had my bold 9790 a few months now, but recently the touch screen facility no longer works and the charger falls out of the bottom of the phone and you have to wrestle with it to take a charge! I went to my provider and they said i must backup my phone< which i have no idea how to do! T mobile just assume every one is a techno genius and their customer service sucks!

View 2 Replies View Relatedi have a problem when trying to charge my N900. It happens since day one and after upgrade to new one. It also happens after a reflash to older version and with no software installed. It happens when using the wall charger and using the USB cable connected to my laptop.
I plug my N900 and it starts charging, after a while it will stop. Sometimes it happens a few minutes after i plug it, sometimes it will happen after more time. When i unplug and replug it will start charging again and repeat the same process again: it will eventually say not charging. It happens when the phone is turned on and off. I have left my N900 plugged for hours and the light that indicates is charging just stops. Even when left 24 hours battery-eye applicaiton shows that the maximum it will get is around 40%
Do you think is a battery issue and is a matter of changing it or should i get a new device?
I got my Z3 2 months ago. I had no problem charging it before, it used to charge fine but after 3 weeks, it started to act strange during charging process. Even if the phone is plugged in fine, the phone charges for few minutes then stops charging again. The charging LED light turns off and when i check the phone, theres no charging signal. But sometime it charges fine without disconnecting.
I thought it was my charger's problem and i tried 2 more new chargers and its still the same. I was running 4.4.4 when this problem occured so i was guessing maybe it was software related issue. I updated to 5.1.1 but the problem still exists. I am using USB cable to charge it. It happens with both the wall charging and PC charging, I even tried factory resetting but no luck. I don't use wireless charging or any charging dock, only USB cable.
I updated my Bold 9700 OS to 5.0.0.862 about 2 weeks ago. Everything was working fine up until Saturday, charging 1 minute then the next nothing, tried wall charger, car charger and also through the computer...nothing . This is the message the phone displays "The charging source connected to your Blackberry device cannot charge your battery."
The lightning icon is there but the battery level does not increase.I cant downgrade the OS since the computer doesnot recognize the device, I constantly get an error message. "Usb device has malfunctioned."
I jsut got a new battery because my last one did this. and i went to bed i left it pluged into the wall charging and i turned it off. the leds were blinkin yellow dunno if thats normal nvr doen this before. and when i woke up i cant get the phone on and all i can get is battery blue charging symbol. Ive tried taknig it out and waiting 30 seconds while its pluged in and hasnt done anything. any suggestions?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Nokia N97 use to be in perfect condition and would charge every time i plug it in. However, lately whenever I plug it in, it charges and then it stops and says "Unplug charger from power supply to save energy" and then it says "Not Charging" and then it charges again and then it doesn't. The light near the charging slot always turn on and off multiple times. I have to play around with the charger and plug it in and out multiple times to get it to work. When it finally starts to charge, it takes extremely long to charge. It used to charge quick but now it take hours. Also, if it is charging, and I accidently touch the phone or the cord, it will immediately stop charging. Then I have to play around with the cord again so it will charge.

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.0.1
Just purchased iPhone 4S and it's sucking the life out of the battery. I've read several posts to turn items off to save battery life and nothing seems to be working.

the battery charging status led becomes green when the battery has been charged to only 90%. isn't it supposed to go green at 100%?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had several videos on my SK17i ruined because a warning popped up that there was only 10% of 5% left of the power in the battery. This warning immediately stops the video recording, while there is more than enough power left to finish what I wanted to record (a band's performance). This is very annoying. Is there a way to turn off this pop-up?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo what is happening to the D2G when it only boots to screen with the battery icon, and stops? After a few reboot attempts, it always goes ahead with the Motorola logo and animation, but I'm wondering what is wrong that it simply doesn't reboot. The battery icon charge is usually in the 20% to 40% range.

i just got my phone less than 2 months ago and i just somehow realized my LED doesnt work properly. I couldnt recall since when it has been like this. the LED only flashes once for every call, or incoming new messages. ive checked the LED settings turned to ON, and also used the TRY IT option in the settings, same, it only flashed once. the LED coverage indicator also had been turned on, and it only flashed once, eventhough the network is on full coverage.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I put my phone on the charger at night.. I'm waking up to only a 65-70% charge. Thats as far as it gets. I've tried changing from the stock cord.. To my alternate (new) cord.. And nothing. I have three extra battery's and all are doing the same. I'm also dealing with a significant amount of heating up of my phone too. All apps are closed frequently and especially before bed.
