I want to add an extra mail address on my bold 9780. I go to setup, click on email account. Then my device is going to check for updates. After that i have to fill in my mailadress and password. When I fill it in, it says it is wrong and i cannot do anything more. How can i skip this part and just add an extra mailadress? I dont want to change my excisting mailadress, just add another one

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a new Bold 9780 which is on my company's corporate network via BES, and all is working well with this side of things, with full integration with my Outlook desktop, so no issue here.I have also set up my BlackBerry with my personal e-mail account. I receive all e-mails sent to my personal e-mail account, but I cannot reply, or send new e-mail. I get a reply option to e-mails received in the menu, but after I have composed the reply, it just gives me 3 options - "switch application", "save draft" and "full menu". It gives me the same three options if I compose a new e-mail and want to send it.I have contacted my carrier, my e-mail account provider, and they all say it is a BlackBerry issue.

Since then i have not been able to get the email wizard set up to accept my password so that i can activate my personal email account. i have a data plan so that is not an issue, but everytime i try to log on i get this message "Sorry, unable to conigtue your session. The problem I have is with the 'Internet Mail Account' option within the Email Accounts in setup. When I click this option, nothing happens. The option doesn't respond to my click.
I know that I have workaround to setup email account through some links in internet and I have already setup my gmail account through the link. However, I would like to have the facility to add a new account through my mobile itself.
I suspect that the problem is due to an incorrect / failed update of 'Email Setup Application'. The version I have is 6.10.0804.1543
Is there any way to get this program updated ? or to get the 'Internet Mail Account' option working in my BB ? I am unable to delete the program through Application Management as the option of Delete is not present.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just sent an e-mail to myself from my blackberry and chose to send from my gmail account, but instead it just decided it might be better to send it from my work e-mail address? How do I fix this? It's absolutely unacceptable and I really hate to know who else now has my work e-mail address because of this. My phone tells me it sent from the correct e-mail address, but the address showing up in the e-mail where I received it says my work e-mail address was the sender.
If it was mixing up my gmail accounts that'd be irritating, but not a big deal - but the fact that it's just sending out of my work e-mail is a serious problem - does anyone know how to fix this?

I type out on my phone, but for example when I press the 'i' key, It puts an 's' in front of it no matter what, my menu button takes my screen back and THEn opens the menu, and dollar signs add themselves to my text to! Basically all my buttons are messed up

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have recently acquired a Blackberry 8300 smartphone 2nd hand as my previous phone broke and I'm due an upgrade soon so didn't see the point of buying a new one. I wiped the phone so I could put my information on and recently checked a post that if it wasn't for work purposes you didn't need a blackberry password to set up my personal e-mail address and the password was only for work related e-mails.
Can someone confirm if this is the case and also how I set it up otherwise as it just keeps asking for a password and wont let me add mine on without it.
I changed my password/e-mail on apple.com because my old e-mail/password was hacked. I have since deleted the old e-mail address entriely and have registered a new one. While apple.com recognizes the change (as does my iPhone 3, which I use as an iPod) my iPhone4 does not recognize the change, and still has my old e-mail address on it. I've tried both passwords on the iPhone4, and neither work. It's annoying having to use the computer only to download new apps/podcasts/etc.

I am having real and I mean real problems setting up my Mail.com email. Since their settings have changed I have not received any emails. I am on my third blackberry curve, Carphonewarehouse don't know what to do. It just wont set up. I get "update failed" I have tried to set up through T Mobile on my phone, no luck, says an error has occurred while setting up email...I have run out of ideas. Contract is ending in Nov and very tempted to go to another smartphone.

i changed my id apple mail adress, but after that i can not download apps from my iphne, since when the window where insert the password appears it shows the old mail address. I tried with the new pass and the old one, but it goes on saying i failed my pass. What can i do? I tried to chang it from the iphone tisefl, with no results.I also tried to change it from the setting - store - id apple but as before, it asks me the password with the old mail address.

I forward a copy of all work email to my gmail account so I can receive it on my iPhone, but when I reply to work email, the Reply To address is my gmail address. The issue is only for the address book, the iPhone syncs fine with iCal for some reason.
