Apr 26, 2011When ever I reboot my BB Storm 2 I get an 'Uncaught exception: Index 10>=10' error message. Consequently many of my core apps are disappearing and then reappearing again. Can anyone tell me what this means and what I need to do? I have an iBook G4 V:10.4 laptop so I'm unable to utilise the info disc that came with the phone. Instead I use Missing Sync for BlackBerry which is somewhat limiting.

May 3, 2012I recently bought a 32 gig class 10 micro SDHD card for my Bionic. I removed the 16 gig, copied the contents to my PC then copied them all to the 32 gig. When I go to Settings>Storage it shows that I have 30 gig, but I have moved some apps to it without issue and then I got an "insufficient space" message. I tried running a rescan SD app, rebooting phone, etc, but it still only allows me to put 16 gig on my 32 gig card.

BB Bold :: Gps Map Does Not Track
Jun 27, 2011my issue is with GPS. when i put in addresses and ask to "navigate to here" i can see the arrow move but the map doesnt mopve as well so i have to constantly move the map manually.this is only after i upgraded from version 5 to version 6.

Mar 16, 2010I just noticed today that the trackpad on my phone has become super sensitive, but not for scrolling, only when pressing down to open apps. It's weird. It seems like it's sunken down and not level with the other buttons anymore and actually tilts down towards the keyboard. I've only had this phone for about a month and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if it is truly a faulty trackpad. If so then its back to AT&T for a replacement!

Nov 8, 2010The track Pad of my BB bold 9700 doesn't work. I can click but I can't move the cursor. I just can see the first option in the menu but I can't move to another options. I changed the Track Pad and It doesn't worked. I think that maybe the problem is in the main board, I don't know.... Is there another way to move through the menu without using the trak Pad? I have tried taking the battery and sim card out and pressing metal plate.

Jan 28, 2010My track ball stopped working correctly and I was advised by my friendly T-Mobile store clerk to use rubbing alcohol on it. it worked!! I can now scroll up & to the right which I could not do..However, the two keys to the right of the track ball stopped working. "back key" and the hang up/power key. They dont do anything.. I have to type in the app I want to go to then hit enter and the track pad works for that. Feb 25, 2010I just noticed after only a week of having 9700, that I have a very thin surface scratch on my track pad. It's not something that you can even really see unless you move it back and forth under a light (and I'm not that vain) but it got me wondering about the possibility of deeper scratches possibly affecting the function of the track pad?? I have babied this thing for the last week, and still got a fine surface scratch, so more heavy usage could possibly result in deeper scratches down the road. Although a very fine surface scratch might not affect the function, could a deeper one affect it?? And if that happens, how easily can the track pad be changed out by a local technician (or yourself)?

Oct 28, 2012I've had my bold for just over 4 months now and in the last few days my menu key and track key aren't working properly. When I press the menu key it brings up my switch app window (I'm literally just pressing it, not holding it down for a few secs) and will do this 4 or 5 times before it brings up the options. Now my track key is going. I press it and it'll bring my options up. I can do this 3 or 4 times before it'll actually go into the icon or link that I'm wanting . I've tried the whole reboot with the phone on and it does nothing.
My last bold I had 19 months and did not once have a problem with it (other than the deep scratch I put in the screen!), 4 months with this and I can't even use the basic and most important keys on the bloody phone!

Jun 3, 2011Been looking again at upgrading my 8520. I use it a lot for pictures, BBM, and using Vlingo a bit too now. But also for music, specially when in bed. I don't see any track change buttons on the device. If you are listening to music, specially at night, how do you quickly change track? I can do it without even looking at the phone on mine. How do you do it on the 9900?

Mar 17, 2010I have been having a blast exploring and customizing my 9700 over the past few days and last night installed a 16GB microsd and began the process of transferring some of my music to the device via the Blackberry Media Sync app on my pc. Transfer went just fine and all files show up on the card, however when I use the Media Player on the device and select by "Album" or "Artist" the tracks are listed alphabetically rather than by track number. It's not a huge deal except when I want to listen to a particular album in track order (The Wall is just made to played that way, isn't it? ). I have looked around for a menu option or something to list by track, but have had no luck. Does anyone here know how to do this? Also, if I connect to my pc via "Mass Storage Mode" and drill down to the album folder in question the track number shows up in the windows explorer folder and all my mp3 files are saved in a "Track Number" - "Songname".mp3 format.

Mar 19, 2010I've come to dread restarting my phone (after deleting an app, to free up space). Every time I pull the battery, it's like playing russian roulette with my phone. When it restarts, it goes back to that original wallpaper that my bb bold2 had, and then the trackpad won't work. Even if I click down once to activate the trackpad, nothing moves on my screen. It almost always ends with me having to do a second battery pull, which is really nerve-wracking. It's like there's some sort of SEVERE lag going on. And if it does begin to work after a battery pull, it takes like 6 minutes to begin working.
