BB Storm :: Showing Low Memory Message Constantly - Keeps Deleting Texts
Jan 11, 2011I had a curve previously, loved it. I wanted a touch screen, and got this phone. No problems the first week but now I am constantly getting a message saying application memory low, asking me to delete the one application (facebook) that I have installed on my phone. I have a 4gb memory card and everything is stored to that not the phone. so when i click no, it deletes my texts which is very inconvenient seeing as how I do alot of my work from my phone via text with my boss. it deletes my texts even if i only have 10 on my phone... it deletes the messages and leaves the blank message box. How to keep it from deleting my texts I changed the setting to keep the messages forever but it still deletes them. I am ready to throw my phone out the window!

Apr 2, 2010I currently have a NE63 - 3 phone and is currently loving it however two days ago i started getting a sending failed error message everytime I attempt to send text messages and when I click on the details it would say not enough memory please close other applications.I have enough load credits to perform such activity,and i do not have any other applications running in the background,plus the phone memory is nowhere near full capacity.I have already checked the message center number and I currently have the correct settings,I have already peformed a reset but to no avail.I am able to receive text messages,able to make and receive calls,wi - fi access is okay,the only thing I cant do is send text messages.I know there are other e63 users out there who might have experienced the same thing.

I've had this phone for roughly 3 months now, bought it brand new from Phones 4U. Everything was perfectly working, when all of a sudden yesterday my phone kept thinking it has no memory card inserted. So I removed the memory card and did a battery pull, re-insterted the card again and still no luck. I next checked if the media card support was enabled, and it was. I then inserted my memory card into my PC and it worked perfectly, no errors or anything. I then tried formatting my card (FAT32) and inserted it once again and yet no luck. I then went to my storage options again, and under media card it reads 'A media card is not presently inserted in the device.' Even trying a different micro SD card did not help. For a second it said 'media card inserted' but seconds later 'media card removed'. This doesnt happene everytime, only sometimes.

Nov 7, 2011I have to admit that I been in love with my C5-03 since the first time I saw it. But unfortunately, the phone gave me real hard time.
1- I can't change the message memory to memory card. It works for a while, and then an error message pops out, statimg that "memory card not found" and that the phone will revery the message memory to phone memory.
2- The phone memory is almost full. I have 11.4 MB left, and I don't know what's filling the memory. I have 3 apps installed, 1 MB each, besides the default apps. Browsing the memory was of no help: almost all folders are empty. I tried emptying the browser's cache, but 11.4 MB is all I could have.
3- Nokia store and the web browser give me the "memory full" message after a couple of minutes of browsing, and then they close automatically, making them almost useless.
4- The battery life is not impressive. I have to charge the phone every 1-2 days even with light usage (15 min of calls, no Wi-Fi or music playing).
I love the phone and I've been having it for 6 months now.I have installed the latest firmware 2 months ago (v.20.0.024, version date 25-05-2011.

Jun 3, 2014Everytime I use my phone I get a little pop up that tells me that I have no storage or that I am extremely low. I know I have a lot of music on my phone but when I sync it to my itunes to try to delete the music, it will not let me and when I keep it on there, it says there is not enough memory for anything else. I have deleted all of my text messages, almsot all of my apps that I only used occassionally and now I am just lost as to what to do. It is very evident that at the bottom of the screen I have almost 7 GB when I delete my music off... however, it is telling me I need more. I have to delete my photos off of my phone daily because sometimes when I try to take photos it tells me that there is no more space available.Â

Nokia :: N97 - Low On Memory / Drive D Not Showing
Apr 24, 2010Ok, I search the web and the forum, but did not find a definite answer on this. I installed X-plore in my N97 today. I had some issues this morning with the phone telling me there were memory issues and showing my 32 gb drive down to just 1.2 mb!!! My phone basically stopped working and I had to restarted about 4 times. I synced the phone and all of the sudden it was fine. (By the way, I installed X-plore after the issue).
Anyway, X-plore is showing the following:
C: 16.1mb free / 73 mb
D: 50.2mb free / 50.2 mb
E: 21.1 gb free / 29.8 gb
F: 7.3 gb free / 7.3 gb
Z: 0 kb / 0kb
Why is X-plore showing drives D and Z? What are those? Is D the ram? Does this mean my N97 is "Ok"?Now, the default file manager shows the following:
C: 16.2 free
E: 21.2 gb free
F: 7.4 gb free
It does not show the D drive? Can I improve my C drive? I've tried most of the suggestions on this site and others and I only get 16 mb free. I only have Nokia Maps installed and all the applications install on drive E. I don't know what else to do?

I understand that 32gb means around 28gb in "real terms". Â
Upon looking at usage and manually adding up the amount of space used by each app it equates to around 15gb of used space. Â
Why there is about 12-13 gb of memory unaccounted for?

Basically, my memory card is only showing a very small number of files and the rest I cannot access. Phone is N73 that caused this. Memory card is Mini SD.Ive used data cable and is still the case on the laptop, also tried memory card reader. Still exactly the same only showing small number of actual files. I can see the folder names however it says empty. But in properties it still recognizes the fact that that 1.9GB is used of 2.0GB. However I can only access about 100MB of those files.

Aug 23, 2011My C: memory is showing as full when I try to clear it through the phone file manager despite looking through all folders I cannot identify any large files on it and the same is the case when I try to look through my pc software.
When I hold on the C: memory and look at the memory details it shows 131mb of messages even though I have deleted all txt messages and emails, 46mb of SIS applications I can't see these in the file manager and 72mb of other files which I assume are the OS files.
