View 7 Replies View RelatedI've got an annoying problem atm.. I want to transfer some files to my bb but everytime I select on my bb "act as USB station" it wont do anything on my pc. I've tried this with other cables and on an other pc but still the same problem, charging trough my pc is no problem. The device is seen by desktop desktop software with the correct pin.Strange thing is that I can transfer files to my internal storage with the bb desktop software but in the desktop software I don't have the option to choose for memory stick.Everything worked fine on bb os 6.0.0.600 official, I upgraded to 6.0.0.668 and that is where the problem sterted for me, it didn 't work anymore after the upgrade so I perform a downgrade back to 6.0.0.600 but now still it doesnt work

Now i cant even delete the pictures that are saved on the memory card. I have tried the battery pull, connecting my blackberry to my pc, even tried formatting the media card and it comes up as formatt failed both on the blackberry and also on the pc.

I already try to download the device software from the list of provider (in this case, I use indosat, cause im in indonesia) and the site is under maintenance huff...when i giving up on upgrading my os, i try to upgrade my bbm to bbm 6 version.. then, my device reboot.. and its gone.. there's no bbm icon.. in my application management, there's blackberry messenger still in version 5, but when i try once again) download the new one from the web, it said "Already installed"

After I restored my files from Desktop Manager I went to Application Loader to see what I wanted to take off or put on. I removed all the foreign language stuff and added a few items. When I clicked next I got an error message saying there was not enough memory in my device. This is crazy since I have 117 MB of free application memory. I am using Desktop Manager v. 4.7 that worked fine for my Storm 1. Do I have to use v5 for the Storm 2, or is it some other problem.

How low have some of you gotten before you notice any kind of problems? I have an 8GB SD card for pics, music, etc., so plenty of room there.
I'm a little surprised for as advanced as this device is that you only get 256MB of space (much less than that, really) for applications. Kinda reminds me of the problem the Nintendo Wii had, where they had an SD card slot, but you couldn't save and programs on it until they did a firmware update later on.
So when I go to memory under the options menu, it says under Device memory that "Device memory cannot be read. Try to repair or format." Consequently I cannot see my pictures, etc because of this. Is the way to format it just to wipe my phone?
