May 7, 2011i have a free memory of 215mb and i saw it on settings>storage, when i checked the applications tab settings>applications>manage applications. the internal memory that is free is 230mb. so what is correct? and if 230 is correct where did my 15mb go?

Jun 25, 2015i loaded an app called "CLEAN SWEEP, and " Whats APP".. does any one of these apps change some properties that are hard to find that now makes any of my pictures i download from my messaging app, or camera go straight to "MY FILES" instead of showing in MY GALLERY like they used to do. I have deleted the old download folder to see if it wold start a new one , and it did, but still is not showing up in my gallery, just my files. the only pics showing up in my gallery are the ones on my sd card.

When I checked my phone's memory from Options page, I was surprised to get the following information. I then validated the information with an app called "BeInfo Lite". This is very different from the 9860 specification where I should have 768MB RAM and 4GB storage memory. Phone Options->Device->Storage: Application Storage - Free Space: 150.3MB Built-in Media Storage: Total 2.5 GB, Free 2.2 GB The app "BeInfo Lite" shows the following: Flash Memory (RAM): Total: 512.93MB, Free: 149.7MB, Used: 363.23MB Storage Memory: Total: 2.58 GB, Free: 2.23 GB, Used: 350.78 MB Is there anything wrong on my phone?

May 10, 2010I have a problem with my 9860's Memory card. I bought the phone on July 2012, and it work perfectly before. Until this couple of days it started to have problem. I just upgraded my Os to os 7.1 bundle 2061 (v7.1.0.714, platform 5.1.0.532) last week. And after that I felt the error started to appears. It happened to my wife's 9860 also. luckily I cold manage to restore the picture and file. And today the problem occur again. The picture in my media card are showing when I open the library, but when I open the file it got corrupted or it showed correctly and then disappear from the screen.

May 15, 2015I can play the files through the file manager but not the google play or the default music player. I have even downloaded third party music players with no luck. I tried moving the files around to the default music folder, and even the folder with the samsung song that came with the phone. No luck.
My last phone (nexus 4) recognized the files instantly, even found the album art and organized all of them no matter where the files were located. I really don't understand what the problem is, I thought this was supposed to be an upgrade.
Would putting the files on a micro SD card work at all?

Jul 15, 2010Why can't the BB OS use some of the removable memory card space to free up the internal memory. To me this is a no brainer, most of us have 16 or 32gig cards, I would be more than happy to set aside some space so the phone could run better. Most of the new flash cards these days are reasonably fast and could easily be used as a swap file place holder or reside some of the dormitory features.

Nov 15, 2015My GS6 was at around 30% battery when I went to bed last night and this morning when I woke up was dead.
I plugged it into the factory fast charger and original cable, and although it gets warm to hot, it doesn't switch on or respond in any form.
The automatic backups seem to have only backed up to mid-Aug, and I have photos I would like to get off the phone from prior that date. Why the automatic backup didn't do them. A family member passed away and I have photos I would really like to have.
Is there an internal memory card, or are these memory chips attached to the board? I have the GS6 128GB edition..

Jan 6, 2010I have an E75 for a few months now and I have a problem that totally confuses me: I constantly keep getting the System Message that my Internal Memory C: is full and that I need to either delete files or move them to the flash memory. Sometimes it also refuses to open emails, because of the lack of memory.
The sad part is that almost all of my data already is on the flash card, not on the internal drive. There's literally nothing left to delete from the internal memory. I also tried deleting my personal data from the web browser, but it didn't help much. I checked the data that is stored on the internal memory and it is about 18MB while the phone's file manager sais I have only about 2MB free memory left. 20 MB total memory size seems a little small to me, shouldn't it be 50MB?
