I have upgraded to 7.1 on my BB Bold 9900. Now if I want to send a reply mail from my BB it does not give me the option to press send after I have typed the reply??? The menu is a disaster!! I want to restore OS 7.
View 1 RepliesI have a new Bold 9780 which is on my company's corporate network via BES, and all is working well with this side of things, with full integration with my Outlook desktop, so no issue here.I have also set up my BlackBerry with my personal e-mail account. I receive all e-mails sent to my personal e-mail account, but I cannot reply, or send new e-mail. I get a reply option to e-mails received in the menu, but after I have composed the reply, it just gives me 3 options - "switch application", "save draft" and "full menu". It gives me the same three options if I compose a new e-mail and want to send it.I have contacted my carrier, my e-mail account provider, and they all say it is a BlackBerry issue.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI just sent an e-mail to myself from my blackberry and chose to send from my gmail account, but instead it just decided it might be better to send it from my work e-mail address? How do I fix this? It's absolutely unacceptable and I really hate to know who else now has my work e-mail address because of this. My phone tells me it sent from the correct e-mail address, but the address showing up in the e-mail where I received it says my work e-mail address was the sender.
If it was mixing up my gmail accounts that'd be irritating, but not a big deal - but the fact that it's just sending out of my work e-mail is a serious problem - does anyone know how to fix this?
I upgraded to the 6.0 OS software this morning. I am not sure what happened but I am receiving emails and unable to reply to them. I have gone to the settings tab and tried to add my email and the phone either freezes or goes back to the main setting page. I have tried wiping the phone, doing hard resets and nothing is working.

I forward a copy of all work email to my gmail account so I can receive it on my iPhone, but when I reply to work email, the Reply To address is my gmail address. I finally updated my E72-1 to 031.023. On the earlier version, I could not use my Mail for Exchange with my work e-mail (i.e. work server etc). it just didn't do anything after setup. In previous posts, people said after the update, it should work fine well, it doesn't. Its the same problem: After setup (with my IT guy) the MfE just doesn't load any messages. It just keeps on saying "No Messages". I have tried everything. So I have three questions:
1) When setting up the MfE, is there anything else I need to do i.e. register my work e-mail somewhere (which I did I think) or something?
2) The acces point Background: when set to "internet" it just doesn't work. It always says "Packet data not available" or "Connection not Available". The 'Internet' acces point "points" to the correct packet data set. When using the packet data set "manually", internet connects and works. Why is this so? Why can't I use my "internet" access point for connecting to the internet?
3)My third question is: For MfE, the access point is set to Internet. Could this be a problem? The only options I have is Internet, WAP services and Intranet. None of them "work".
I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1. I use an IMAP account to send and receive email. It's been running perfect for over a year.
Then yesterday, and for no reason, mail stopped sending and goes straight into the outbox after this error message:
"A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message content to the server failed".
The thing is I haven't changed any mail account preferences, SMTP, Passwords or anything. Furthermore the exact same mail account settings on my MacBook Pro work just fine. I can send and receive perfectly.
I just set things up so my Gmail will forward to my me.com account on my iPhone 4S.Currently, both accounts are set up on my phone with Apple's mail client with all the correct usernames and passwords.
My gmail is forwarding to my [url]..account but when I try to "reply" to that email in[url].. it says:

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Verizon galaxy S5. No problems, perfect phone. I upgraded to lollipop when it came out, and I love it! But, I reverted to KitKat for a day and a half a few days ago, and now a problem has arisen. I can receive SMS and MMS, can make calls, and can use mobile data. BUT! I can't send SMS or MMS messages (for ANY number). It just loads for a while and says sending failed. I flashed back to KitKat, and now it works fine!!! I tried again to update to Lollipop three different ways: Odin, over-the-air, and through Kies, and all three methods are causing this error. Why is this happening, and can I fix it? Every time I downgrade to KitKat it works just fine. I like lollipop and need texting for my daily life! I also got an error (one time) where I couldn't turn on my WiFi antenna. I have tried every possible method of data reset, initialization, battery/sim pull, and every kind of cache wipe possible.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm sending text messages to a list of people I have in an email, and I just noticed that not all (in fact, most) of the messages I sent are not appearing as sent in my Messages application. I'm sending these messages by hovering over the phone numbers in the email and selecting "Send Message" from the popup list. I then type the message I want to send, click "Send," and it returns me to Mail.Â
What's the problem here? I tested it by sending a message in the same way to one of my friends, and she told me she didn't receive it. Is there a way for me to fix this, or do I just have to manually enter every phone number into messages?

We recently moved a client of ours back in-house with an exchange server. There are about 5 users that use BlackBerry smartphones. All of the smartphones were configured and activated without issue and are working fine... except 1. This one particular phone cannot reply to messages (Gets the red "X"). It can however compose a new email and send without issue.I've tried deleting the Desktop CMIME service book and resending, to no avail Full wipe and reactivation, to no avail I used the sendastool to reconfigure send as permissions for this user and repeated the steps above, to no avail.I'm just puzzled at this point as to why this one phone cannot send reply emails (again, sending new is no issue!) Granted, i'm not on location and am not seeing exactly what the user is doing, but he has been using his blackberry for years and knows how to send email/reply, etc.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use iPhone Mail to sync with my mail server. (I also use Mac mail on my iMac to sync with the same server.) Everything's been fine until I upgraded to iOS 5.1. Doesn't look like anyone else is having the same issue, so maybe it is a setting?
Anyway, the mail comes down to the iPhone, but strangely, there's no little red number on the Mail home screen app anymore. When I go to the list of mailboxes, INbox also doesn't have the new messages number anymore. When I physically go into INbox, the new messages appear and I can read them. If I read them, the next time I check my mail they come down as new again. I can delete messages locally, but upon syncing, deleted messages come down again as new (I presume the server is not getting the message). Sent messages don't show up on the server (and they sound like they're going out, and no errors pop up), yet I have no record of them anywhere. Drafts don't show up on the server.
When I go into Mail on the iMac, all mail comes in as if the iPhone never got the messages. Until day before yesterday, read messages from iPhone would be read in the iMac inbox and syncing worked great between all three -- iPhone, iMac and server.
