I would like to keep my email address private and reply to an email annonymously. Is this possible? I don't mind them seeing my name but not my surname which appears in the email address.
View 1 RepliesI use the Pearl 9105 for private, not business, and I'd like to add my private email. The HowTo tells me to use the assistance program. This tells me to choose "I'd like to add an email address", but this point is not shown on my BB. I can only see the point: "I'd like to add a business email account by using the BlackBerry Enterprise Server" (I translated this, sorry, if it is not 100% correct).

Just found that there is no longer an option to reply using a different email address on the 9700. On the 8900, after you press reply, the top line says "send using" and you can click on that to choose which email to reply it with. Anyone know how to solve this issue?

I'm a new user coming from an iphone to a windows phone Nokia 1520 on my Iphone I could chose to not delete email on the server when syncing I can't seem to do this with the windows email app. I want to be able to read my email on my phone when out of the office but do the permanent download from the server on my office PC ....same with my home email. We don't use exchange at work. If I sync with my phone and then delete the email from my phone it deletes it off the server.

When I used BB Desktop Manager restore to bring my data onto the 9700, it brought my old email address along with it. The new carrier has no clue on how to erase it. I have to be careful now to make sure I am choosing new carrier when sending out emails otherwise they won't send. How do I delete the old carrier email address? From the handset or from Desktop Manager?
