My phone will not "connect to the server" for aol and for facebook it says I don't subscribe to the service, but I do and this all worked with my last blackberry.

I use gmail and when I delete an email on the web, it doesn't delete on my BB. The same goes for when I open an email on the web, it doesn't show 'read' on my BB. Interestingly though, if I delete or read an email on my BB, the action is reciprocated on the web.And finally, if I send myself an email (either from the web or my BB), it appears on the web but not on my BB.

I just got the S6 a few days ago. I set up my Outlook email accounts (former Hotmail) in the email app that came with the phone. The sync schedule is set to Auto (as received) but the email only refreshes only when I do it manually.

"You can double-chop to turn the flash on or off. But if you activate the flashlight this way and set the phone face-down, the flashlight will almost immediately turn itself off."
Sounds awesome, so i tried it, double-chop works fine, but the flashlight dont turn itsel off when i put the phone face-down, and i waited a long time hoping the sensors have a delay, i tested in many surfaces and all the same.
It doens't seems to have a setting about this as the phone do it automatically..
So, that's it, i will have to accept it will never work on my phone? I already factory reset the phone after the update to MM, and a few days later.
When you move the phone away from your face to hangup a call it takes about 2 seconds for the screen to wake up? Is there an adjustment I haven't found yet. Just came over from iPhone.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm the IT person at a business that has 4 dozen older Windows Phones deployed (920/830/640). I'm currently going through a "testing" phase with myslef and 4 other senior managers having the new Lumia 950.
We like the 950's but noticed an issue that makes it a "no go" for upgrading most of the rest of our staff, and many of them need upgrades.
We are in the construction industry, and for insurance reasons we are required to take numerous photos of our work at jobsites. Currently, our dozen or so field crews take photos, and as they leave each jobsite they email those photos to our dispatcher. All our current Windows Phones will automatically scale down the photos taken to a smaller size for ease of emailing. A typical emailed image file size averages 260KB. Our field crews email in approximately 1400 photos per day to dispatch, with an average of 9 photos per email.
The problem is the new 950, at least with the default camera app, has its lowest MP setting as 8MP, and it does not scale down the images for emailing. I've tried several times, and individual emailed images are around 6MB. It only takes an email with 2 photos to choke most email servers.
Since yesterday my Blackberry service has not worked and have not received any information about the reason, cause or manner of failure resolve it, so I formally ask me what is the detail problem that occurs with this vital service for me.

1. Ever since the upgrade from OS5 to OS6, I've been getting memory issues when simply browsing the internet. U get the message "The memory available on your device is low. Please close some tabs." just reading the news.
2. This is urgent. I just updated my OS6 and now my e-mail doesn't even work. Whenever I try to set it up under e-mail accounts "internet mail account", it just freezes or closes.
I've looked at the possible go to "mobile.blackberry.com" and go to communications but I don't see that option available. I also tried battery pulling many times to restart my e-mail service. This is coming close for me in drawing the line for BlackBerry phones.
I am using bb Curve 9300 right now but when I insert my card in bb bold 9780 (which I just bought, emails don,t work. It just asks me the passwords for my existing emails but when I enter my passwords, nothing happens. It asks me to log in again. I can't set up new emails on this phone. It doesn't give me option to set up new emails.

I've updated to the OS 6 and now I cannot setup my email accounts. Can't add or delete any account. I go to "Setup->Email Account" and when I press "Internet Mail Account" nothing happens and it goes back to the "Setup" menu! I need to install a new account in my blackberry!

The phone works and sms works.Anyways my issue is this, I am using it for personal use, but cannot send/receive pin messages, my bbm doesn't send/receive invites, and it won't let me setup a personal email.When I click on setup/email the only option available is to add an enterprise email and asks for the enterprise password.Any ideas as to why this is happening or ways around this so I can use my bbm and setup my personal emails to automatically send to my phone like I had before? Mine still works perfect. Any ideas on what needs to be done to get her email set back up and bbm working again ?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi have a problem with my galaxy S5 ATT. so im using Netgear wireless n-150 router WNR 1000,its updated,but the problem was before the update and after the update it is the same. i'm using yahoo,gmail and comcast emails.i was able to setup yahoo email without any problems,i can send and receive emails from my phone when connected to wifi and without wifi. but i wasnt able to add to that stock email app my gmail account and comcast while i was connected to my wifi.it gave me error that it wasnt able to connect to the server to verify information.
So I tried to set it up on the mobile network and there was no problem. so now when i connected to wifi in my house i cant receive emails or send them using gmail and comcast email,yahoo account is working fine. i checked all the settings,i reset the router,still nothing.the funny part is if i download gmail app it is working without any problems.and if i connect to any other wireless router,all 3 emails work. also when i connect to my wifi, I'm getting internet and i'm able to open pages without any problems. The tone plays fine, as do music and videos, but texts and calls cannot be sent or received. Considering it got wet recently (I stuck in rice for a few days), there may be some corrosion or something.

Brightness was at its maximun ignoring the ambient light sensor. 20 minutes later the phone was off. I thought was the battery, but before this, the battery was at 60 %.
